The Effects of Service Quality on Positive Emotion, Brand Affection, and Brand Loyalty in Restaurant Sector (외식기업의 서비스 품질이 긍정적 감정, 브랜드 애정, 그리고 브랜드 충성도에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: Service quality plays an important role in the credibility of consumer behavior as it enhances brand loyality in hospitality business. The objective of this study is to determine the effects of service quality, positive emotion, brand affection, and brand loyalty in restaurant sector by applying the S-O-R model. The study also introduces a new integrated structural model that combines service quality's dimensions of physical quality, interaction quality, and outcome quality. Research design, data, and methodology: This study was analyzed in a quantitative way using the survey results of 395 customers who had experience of visiting restaurants. All constructs were measured with multiple items developed and validated in prior studies. In this study, SmartPLS 4.0 was used to evaluate the research model. The reliability, convergent validity, and discriminant validity of the measurement tool were verified. Result: Result was found that service quality(physical quality, interaction quality, outcome quality) had a positive effect on positive emotion and brand affection. Also both of positive emotion and brand affection had a positive effect on brand loyalty. This study contributes to the service quality literature and has practical managerial implications.

The Effects of Consumer-Brand Relationships on Brand Charisma and Brand Loyalty (패션 소비자-브랜드 관계가 브랜드 카리스마와 브랜드충성도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of consumer-brand relationship on brand charisma and brand loyalty. Four hundred and ten consumers living in Seoul and its suburb participated in this study. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, reliability, and structure equation modeling were used. The results were as follows. First, three factors of an 'affection', 'commitment', and 'trust' of advertisement were produced for consumer-brand relationship. Second, all three factors of consumer-brand relationship affected positively on brand charisma. Second, except 'affection' factor, two factors affected significantly on brand loyalty. Third, brand charisma affected positively on brand loyalty. Based on these results, this study would provide fashion marketers more efficient brand marketing strategies.

A summary of the effects of research on corporate reputation on corporate reputation according to corporate CSR activities is as follows. 1st. Brand equity will have a positive effect on the Company's reputation. The hypothesis had a significant impact on brand recognition, brand loyalty, and perceived quality, but did not have significant impact on the brand image. 2st. Brand equity will have a positive effect on ethical responsibility. The hypothesis had a significant impact on brand recognition, brand loyalty, and perceived quality, but did not have significant impact on the brand image. 3st, the brand equity will have a positive effect on the benefit of the benevolent. The hypothesis had a significant impact on brand recognition, brand loyalty, and perceived quality, but did not have significant impact on the brand image. 4st, The theory that the influence of positive(+) will affect the company's reputation has a significant impact on both ethical and philanthropic factors. 5st. The ethical responsibility was found to have no effect on the usefulness of the brand between brand assets and corporate reputation. 6st. The philanthropic responsibility was partly attributable to the fact that there was a substitution between brand equity and corporate reputation. In sum, the company needs to prioritize its brand recognition before establishing its reputation, and the reason why it should be implemented is that the other elements of the brand equity should be evaluated with the presence of other elements of the brand equity, thereby ensuring continued compliance with continuous CSR activities. As a result, consumers expect to see the performance-based role of the company as a strategic and long-term perspective, as consumers want to see the CSR activity and the corporate reputation in a long-term manner, as opposed to the financial responsibility and legal responsibilities of the past, as opposed to the past.

Comparison of Korean Food Market Segmentation and Consumer Satisfaction and Loyalty According to the Brand Personality -Focusing on the Japanese Consumer- (브랜드개성에 따른 한식 시장세분화와 소비자만족도 및 충성도 비교 -일본소비자 대상-)

  • This study aimed to look into the Korean food consumption behavior, satisfaction, and loyalty between segmented groups through Korean food market segmentation in accordance with brand personality. A survey was conducted to the Japanese residing in Korea and also Japanese tourists in Korea. For the statistic analysis, frequency analysis, factor analysis, anova, $x^2$ and cluster analysis were conducted with Hangul SPSSWIN 19.0. The results of an empirical analysis include the following. First, the brand personality of Korean food was deduced into the following five levels: sincerity, ruggedness, competence, sophistication, and excitement. As a result of stereotyping based on the above, it was classified into three groups involving an excitement pursuing group (18.7%), a sophistication pursuing group (59.7%), and a competence sincerity pursuing group (21.6%). Second, it was found that there was a significant difference in the demographic characteristics and Korean food consumption behavior between segmented groups. Third, there was a significant difference also in satisfaction with and loyalty to Korean food between segmented groups. Specifically, competence and sincerity pursuing groups were discovered to exhibit the highest satisfaction and loyalty when compared with any other of the groups. Accordingly, it would be necessary to conduct a Korean food marketing strategy appropriate for each segmented group.

여성화장품 소비자의 체험마케팅이 브랜드인식에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증연구

  • 오늘날 새로운 마케팅 기법으로서 고객중심적인 체험마케팅의 중요성이 증대되고 있다. 본 연구는 여성화장품 소비자의 체험마케팅이 브랜드 인식에 미치는 영향을 파악하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 연구는 설문조사를 통해 수행하였으며 설문조사는 국내 한 화장품회사의 체험행사에 참여한 여성으로 하였다. 설문은 체험마케팅 참여 전과 후로 나누어 두 차례 동일한 상대를 조사하여 그 결과를 비교하였으며, 연구결과 첫째, 체험마케팅 행사 참여 후 브랜드인지도의 향상은 유의한 것으로 나타났고. 둘째, 체험마케팅 행사 참여 후 브랜드 신뢰도도 유의하게 향상된 것으로 나타났다, 셋째, 체험마케팅 행사 참여 후 브랜드충성도도 유의하게 향상된 것으로 나타났고 넷째, 체험마케팅 행사 참여 후 브랜드이미지도 유의하게 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구는 소비자의 브랜드 인식을 향상하는데 있어 체험마케팅의 효과가 입증되었다.

Effect of Self-congruity with Hallyu Human Brand on Attachment and Brand Equity (한류 휴먼브랜드에 대한 자아일치성이 애착과 브랜드자산에 미치는 영향)

  • This study investigates the impact of Hallyu human brands on consumer behavior, given the increasing influence of Hallyu human brands due to their global spread and the limited academic discussions surrounding this topic. The research examines the role of self-congruity, human brand attachment, and brand equity factors. An online survey was conducted, targeting Chinese consumers who are highly engaged with the Korean Wave. Data from 403 respondents were analyzed. The results reveal that both ideal and actual self-congruity with the Hallyu human brand significantly affected attachment to the brand, while social self-congruity was found to be insignificant. Furthermore, attachment to Hallyu human brands positively influenced brand recognition, perceived quality, brand image, and brand loyalty.

  • Local culture plays a role in enhancing the cultural competence of citizens by approaching branding from the perspective of brandization by implying value amid changes in local traditions and modern times. Therefore, this study established a research model with brand loyalty, brand recognition, perceived quality, and brand image as dependent variables in order to analyze the impact of local cultural characteristics on cultural brand asset components. We tested the research hypothesis and analyzed it, As local cultural characteristics affect cultural brand asset components, it was found that it is necessary to change the perception of local culture and promote traditional culture. In addition, Yeoju City needs to plan a festival that combines tradition and local culture through the convergence of content and cultural policy for the recognition and brand image of the Yeoju Yeongneung, a World Heritage Site, and it is urgent to change the direction of citizens. In addition, it was found that it is desirable to expand research on the formation of cultural brand assets according to local cultural affinity.

The Effect of Congruency of Parent Brand Image with Self-Image, Brand Loyalty, and Brand Involvement on the Attitude towards Extended Product in Fashion Brand Extension (패션브랜드 확장시 모브랜드와의 자아이미지 일치성과 충성도, 브랜드 관여도가 확장제품의 태도에 미치는 영향)

  • Today, many fashion companies use brand extension and it is especially important to conduct brand extension that coincides with consumer self-image, and maintains brand loyalty in order to succeed. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of congruency of parent brand image with self-image, brand loyalty, and brand involvement on the attitude towards extended product in fashion brand extension. A survey questionnaire was used to collect information from 170 female college students, and collected data were subjected to descriptive analysis, factor analysis, and regression analysis. Results showed that the congruency of parent brand image with self-image had a positive effect on the attitude towards extended product in fashion brand extension, with a positive mediating effect of brand loyalty, and a negative mediating effect of brand involvement. Also, the congruency of parent brand image with self-image and brand loyalty of the parent brand had a positive effect on the attitude towards the extended product, whereas brand involvement had a negative mediating effect on the attitude towards the extended product in fashion brand extension. The results of this study provide some useful suggestions to marketers in fashion industry: marketers should consider some psychological aspects of consumers such as congruency of parent brand image with self-image, brand loyalty, and brand involvement when conducting brand extension.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of corporate association of sports equipment companies on brand trust, and brand loyalty. The subjects were college student and 400 data were collected and 385 of them were chosen as for final data analysis. Data analysis were conducted using frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and structural equation modeling with SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 22.0. Based on the above study method and procedures, the results of the study are summarized as follows: First, corporate ability association and corporate social responsibility association had a positive effect on brand trust. Second, brand trust had a positive effect on brand loyalty.
