The Effect of a Librarian's Organizational Commitment and Organization Citizenship Behavior on Organizational Effectiveness (도서관사서의 조직헌신성과 조직시민행동이 조직효과에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aims to explore the effect of a librarian's organizational commitment and Organization Citizenship Behavior (OCB) on organizational effectiveness in libraries. The following conclusions were drawn from the research procedures and data analysis. First, the librarian's organizational commitment make no difference by age level. The librarian's organizational commitment makes no difference by career. The librarian's organizational commitment and organization citizenship behavior make no difference by employment status. Second, the highest correlation is maintain commitment factor and all of the commitment. The second high correlation is sportsmanship behavior factor and all of the organization citizenship behavior. The third high correlation is conscientiousness behavior factor and all of the organization citizenship behavior. Third, the organizational effectiveness is affected 13.4% by a librarian's organization citizenship behavior, 5.6% by librarian's organizational commitment.

  • This study examines the effects of organizational trust of the container terminal operators' employee on organizational citizenship behavior and the moderating effect of organizational support in the relationship between the two variables. In order to efficiently achieve the purpose of this study, an empirical analysis was conducted by distributing a literature review and a questionnaire, and the results of the study are as follows... First, the organizational trust of the container terminal operators' employee was found to have a significant positive (+) effect on organizational citizenship behavior, and trust in the company appeared to be more important than trust in the superior, indicating trust in the institutional aspect. This means that formation has more influence on organizational citizenship behavior... Second, it was confirmed that the organizational support of the container terminal operators' employee can lead to active participation in organizational citizenship behavior through the expansion of educational compensatory support. Third, among the organizational support of container terminal operators, emotional support and educational compensatory support were found to have a partial moderating effect on the relationship between organizational trust and organizational citizenship behavior." Emotional support has a moderating effect on caring and active participation behaviors in the relationship between trust in the company and organizational citizenship behaviors, and a moderating effect on caring, active participation, and non-complaining behaviors in the relationship between trust in superiors and organizational citizenship behaviors. It was analyzed that there is Compensatory educational support has a moderating effect on altruistic, caring, active participation, and non-complaining behavior in the relationship between trust in the company and organizational citizenship behavior. It was analyzed that there was a moderating effect on active participation and non-complaining behavior. These analysis results mean that members' trust in the company further increases through the container terminal operator's emotional support and educational reward support. As uncertainty grows, it is very important to increase the trust of organizational members in the organization. sense of belonging to the organization, Emotional support that can increase immersion, improvement of work environment, provision of educational opportunities, and education-compensatory support such as a fair compensation system will increase organizational trust and induce effective organizational citizenship behavior to realize sustainable growth of the organization.

  • In this study a series of approaches have been made to find out how complaining behavior would show according to the conviction in the locus of control as to where the general contents dissatisfied by consumers and the dissatisfied consumers would place the responsibility for the consequence of behavior and to test the difference of complaining behavior pursuant to demographic variables and the complaining behavior. The results of this study are described as follows: 1. The consumers have largely attributed the locus of responsibility for their dissatisfaction following the purchase of refrigerators to the relevant manufacturers, advertizers, consumer(herself) and distributors, and as for the dissatisfaction by an attribute of refrigerator, a high level of dissatisfaction was revealed on the price and items of properties. 2. There was no difference in the complaining behavior of consumers pursuant to the demographic features. 3. It was revealed that there wee many consumers, among those respondents to questionnaires, who have actually shown their complaing behavior, while most of them would act inthe form o private behavior, because the cases of acting positive way of public behavior, even though they were apt to show complaining behavior, appears to be extremely rare. 4. A significant difference was shown in the complaing behavior pursuant to the conviction in the locus of control.

  • This study focused on examining methods for the favorable relationship between internet shopping mall and customers from a point of view that it was necessary for internet fashion market getting faced with keen competition to change its marketing focus from securing new customers to customer retention strategies. Measurement instruments were selected to measure these variables and a questionnaire was made. Data was collected in 491 men and women in their twenties residing in Gwangju city using the questionnaire. The analysis results were summarized as follows: First, in the failure to purchase fashion products in internet shopping mall, as consumer's favorable internet shopping attributes, their possibility of complaining and repurchase intentions became higher, and had negative effect on regret and dissatisfaction. Second, attributions of the result of a failure to purchase fashion products in internet shopping mall were found to increase regret and dissatisfaction. Third, customers experiencing regret and dissatisfaction showed a very high possibility of complaining but their possibility of repurchase intentions had negative affect.

The Study on Women's Responses to Discounting claims and Complaining Behavior in Clothing Products (여성의 의류제품 할인구메에 대한 반응과 불평헹동 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the purchase behavior, response, and complaining behavior for discounting claims in clothing products. The subjects are composed of 360 female consumers. Data were collected through questionnaire. Descriptive analysis was used for analysis of this study. The findings of this study were as follows: First, female consumer used department store for buying discount apparel products the most. The percentage of buying casual or sports wear for discounting was the most. Most consumers purchased clothing products when discounting at 20-40 percentages. Second, even if, consumers tended to distrust discounting claims, they were satisfied with discount apparel products. Especially, they were satisfied with price, design, color, and size, while they were dissatisfied with sewing and fabric in discount products. Third, most consumer knew the knowledge of consumer rights, but most dissatisfied consumers did not assert positive consumer's right. Therefore, marketer should increase the accessibility of their complaint receiving mechanism for dissatisfied consumers in retail environment.

The Relationship of Complaining Type, Complaining Behavior, and Subsequent Purchase Intention of the Visitors to the Help-desk Centers in General Hospitals (종합병원 민원접수자의 불평유형과 불평행동 및 재구매의사간의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify and clarify the factors which affect the complaining type, the complaining behavior, and the subsequent purchase intention. The data in this study is collected through questionnaires from patients with grievances who visited the help desk centers of :1 general hospitals in Seoul. Total 70 questionnaires were collected. The conclusions from this study can be summarized as follows; 1. The complaining type(related with medical service) have relatively correlation with the having of occupation among demographic characteristics and select motivation of hospital. 2. The complaining type(related with medical service) has an effect un the official complaining behavior. And the older persons take action with the official complaining behavior. 3. The complaining type(related with medical service) has an effect on the negative purchase intention. Therefore the most important thing in hospitals management is that hospitals improve their medical service quality. And hospital managers should station the complaining center and try to ease the complaining behavior and negative purchase intention.

Study on Consumer Dissatisfaction and Complaint Behavior of Online Shopping Mall (온라인 쇼핑몰 이용자의 불만과 불평행동에 관한 연구)

  • Consumer dissatisfaction and complaints make it difficult for online shopping mall to maintain existing customers and attract new customers, which may result in a direct profit loss. The primary purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between customer dissatisfaction in terms of product-complaints and website complaints and complaint behaviors in terms of individual, public, and 3rd party complaint behaviors. Th results indicate that product-dissatisfaction is significantly related to the public and 3rd party complaint behaviors, but not the individual complaint behavior. Website dissatisfaction was not found to be significantly related to any complaint behavior. The moderate effect of sex and individual attitude on the relationship between customer dissatisfaction and complaint behaviors was also not considerable.

A Study on the Consumer Complaining Behavior of Rural Women Leaders (농촌 여성지도자의 소비자 불평행동에 관한 연구 - 농촌생활개선회 임원을 중심으로 -)

  • This study was carried out to understand the consumer complaining behavior of rural women leaders and to identify variables affecting complaining behavior. 403 samples were collected from the rural women leaders in rural areas by mailed questionnaire from June 1 to June 20 in 1996. The data was analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, chi-square, F-test, correlation, regression using SPSS/PC+ program. Most of rural women leaders experienced consumer dissatisfaction and damage, but they mainly took private complaining behavior. The rate of the non-complaining behavior was 20.1%. They recognized that consumer dissatisfaction and damage was due to external attribution. The results showed that the most influential variables for the consumer complaining behavior of rural women leaders were age and consumer capacity. The older they were and the more consumer capacity they had. the more active complaining behavior was taken.

  • The market for Home Meal Replacement (HMR), which is simple to cook and replace home cooking, is growing every year since customers need to find convenience and speed in purchasing, cooking, and consuming food. In addition, the purchase of HMR through online and mobile is increasing because convenience of purchasing through e-Commerce is growing. However, there are difficulties in analyzing complaints of customers who do not directly express their dissatisfaction with companies that sell products through online and mobile. Therefore, this study examines the influential relationship between customer's characteristics, dissatisfaction factors, complaint behavior, and repurchase intention of 20s who have dissatisfaction experience of purchasing HMR through online or mobile using SPSS and R. In addition, we attempt to analyze the degree of perceived dissatisfaction and its relevance even though customers did not directly experience dissatisfaction factors. As a result, it is meaningful to extend the study of customer dissatisfaction that is rarely handled in the existing HMR research, and to raise the understanding of customers for the management of complaints.

The Influence of Firm Trust and Salesperson Trust on Commitment and Relational Citizenship Behavior (기업간 거래에서 관계적 시민행동에 관한 연구)

  • The primary purpose of this research is to develop and test a model that explains the process of how trust in a supplier firm and salesperson through relational commitment influence buyer's positive and desirable behavior. In order to do so, we are empirically to examine how a supplier firm and salesperson trust can reinforce buyer's relational commitment leading to relational citizenship behavior using over 138 buying firms, Through structural equation modeling, we find that trust in a supplier firm and salesperson influence the relational commitment and relational commitment enhance relational citizenship behavior. However, trust in a supplier firm is unrelated to the buying firm's relational citizenship behavior whereas trust in salesperson has direct effect on relational citizenship behavior. Finally, we discuss several theoretical and practical implications, and suggest limitations for the research and future research issue.
