  • Among many modelling factors which consist of a screen, a form brings a child's psychological response, according to its being drawn and expressed shape, and would be defined as a visual descriptive method which transmits the relation between the subject and background by a story content and the circumstance and emotion of characters in the story. In this study, to analyze how an expressed form on a screen works to a child visually and psychologically, I, first have examined how differently a child's perception development and its experience to the form is come out by the age of a child, and have found that it influences on a child's originality and creativity development, visual and psychological thinking development, and the stimulation on dream and imagination. And I have examined each characteristic by discriminating the expressive style of the form into a reproductive, a simplified, an exaggerated and a distorted form expression, and by utilizing it as substantiative data through the 1st and 2nd stage, have analyzed responses and preferences according to a style of a child's expression form. In conclusion, I have considered that the analysis result through the substantiative study would be a help not only to the form expression which is based on an illustrator's personality and creativity, and also would be utilized in the effective expression method study and experiment of students who learns the illustration.

  • The purpose of the present study was to look deeply into the experience of self-exploration by providing song psychotherapy to the children of ministers. For this, three women, who were children of ministers and who were in their twenties, were provided with fifteen sessions of song psychotherapy at the Music Therapy Clinic of E University. The present study used Colaizzi's phenomenological method in order to observe and understand the self-exploring process of the participants in depth. Therefore, the present research found 164 meaning units, 38 themes and 14 theme groups, and 3 categorizations. As a result of this study, first, the participants recognized the features of environment while exploring themselves in song psychotherapy. Second, they found their affectedness by and reactions about surrounding environments. Third, they found an intrapersonal condition that was formed by their surrounding environment. With this as the basis, the result of the present study helps form an understanding of the phenomena that the children of ministers experience, and it may be utilized as groundwork in the application and development of music therapy methods for the self-exploration of the children of ministers.

  • The 7th curriculum sets a basic direction based on learner centered teaching, with the aim of allowing students to develop their mathematical ability. Teachers' manuals are provided to help teachers fallow the basic direction and achieve the curriculum aims, but in practice they are not always helpful. Therefore, we reconstructed parts of a teachers' manual. This involved analyzing the contents of units 6, 7 and 8 of the elementary mathematics textbook 4 na to identify and outline the problems; introducing more detailed teaching methods and activities; and developing teaching learning materials. We tested the new version in several real classes and analysed the responses 6f teachers and students to examine the possibility of its practical use. The results suggest that the reconstructed version of the teachers' manual for units 6, 7 and 8 of textbook 4 na is of greater practical utility.

  • The objective of this study is to understand disordered parent-child relationships of Reactive Attachment Disorder(RAD) systematically through the mother’ internal working model of child. In this study, RAD mothers’internal representations of the child were compared with mothers’of control group and association between mothers’ representation classifications and children’ attachment classifications was examined. Also individual differences in mother-child interaction by mothers’representation classifications was observed. The subjects of this study were 40 2-5 year-old children and their mothers, 20 attachment disordered dyads and 20 normal dyads of control group. Mothers were interviewed using the Working Model of the Child(Zeanah, Benoit & Barton 1986) to classify internal representations of child. Children’ attachment patterns were assessed by the Strange Situation Procedure. For observation of motherchild interaction, Each dyad was seen in DPICS devised by Eyberg and Robinson(1983). The results of the study were as follows:1) Among RAD group, 55% of mothers were classified as disengaged and 45% classified as distorted, while all mothers of control group were classified as balanced. In rating scales, there were significant differences in all 3 representation classifications in Intensity of involvement and Coherence. In Intensity of involvement disengaged representations had the lowest score and distorted representations had the lowest score in Coherence. 2) Mothers’representation classifications were related to children’ attachment classifications. All mothers of control group whose children were classified as secure were classified as balanced. Among RAD’ mothers, by contrast, 82% of mothers classified as disengaged had children classified as anxious-avoidant, 56% of mothers classified as distorted had children classified as disorganized / disoriented and 33% of mothers classified as distorted had children classified as anxious-resistant. 3) There were individual differences in mother-child interactions by mothers’representation classifications. In the child-centered play, mothers classified as disengaged used discriptive statement, reflective statement and discriptive-reflective question less than balanced mothers. Mothers classified as distorted used direct command and indirect command more than balanced mothers. In the clean-up task, mothers classified as disengaged and distorted used direct command and indirect command more than balanced mothers. The results of this study suggest that parents’working model of the child is an important factor to understand parent-child attachment relationships and their interactions. The understanding of parents’ working model of the child is thought to enrich our understanding of disordered parent-child relationships and to provide useful informations for specific and successful treatments.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of social interaction on cultural aspects, verbal interaction, and discussion maps in scientific modeling instruction on combustion in middle school. Revised-CLEQ (Cultural Learning Environment Questionnaire), verbal interaction framework, discussion maps analysis were implemented for this study. The results of study follow respectively. First, the characteristics on cultural aspects of middle school students showed cooperation rather than competition in terms of collectivism. Students' attitudes to learning science tended to depend on others' idea, and students were passive and reluctant to present their comments when they were modeling work. Second, for the characteristics of verbal interaction, they simply presented knowledge related to build a model. The response to comments and feedback was relatively few. Third, discussion maps showed a lot of interaction for reponses that was alternatively brought the concept of commenters, which students were depended on a specific one, and responses. There were not many interaction for elaboration, which were described to have new presented ideas, corrections, and reasons when they exchange their ideas. In this study the model type of interaction affecting the formation of the students understanding of and in our country, it makes a lot of social interactions as the basis for teaching system could be utilized.
