The Effect of Organizational Culture of Large Construction Companies on Emotional Commitment through Organizational Trust (건설대기업의 조직문화가 정서적 몰입에 미치는 영향 : 조직신뢰의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to research the impact of the organizational culture of large construction companies on emotional commitment through organizational trust targeting the headquarters and field workers of domestics. Applied the significance sampling method, and the number of samples used in the final analysis was 201, and statistical analysis used the SPSS 20.0 program for the input data processing. As a result of the analysis, first, in the group of the sub-factors of organizational culture recognized by members of large construction companies, rational culture, development culture, and consensus culture had a significant positive (+) effect on emotional commitment, but hierarchical culture was not significant. Second, development culture, consensus culture, and hierarchical culture were found a significant positive (+) effect on organizational trust, but rational culture was not found to be significant. Third, organizational trust was found a significant positive (+) effect on emotional commitment. Fourth, organizational trust has been shown to mediate the relationship between organizational culture and emotional commitment. This suggests that organizational culture that aiming flexibility & change value rather than stability & control value for organizational members can have a positive effect on emotional commitment.

A Study on the Tales related to the Creation of 'Humninjeongeum' of Sinmi and the Way of their culture-convergence contents (신미의 '훈민정음' 창제 관련 설화와 문화융합의 콘텐츠 방안)

  • So far, it has been a general opinion that 'Hunminjeongeum' creation was made only by King Sejong himself under Jiphyeonjeon scholars' help. However, this paper stresses that 'Hunminjeongeum' was made not only by King Sejong but also by Sinmi's positive effort on King Sejong's secret order, and examines the possibility of the culture-convergence contents related to these tales as well. To reveal the ground, the method of this research was proceeded particularly focusing on following texts: Sejongsillok, Munjongsillok, Hangukbulgyojeonseo, etc. The result was as followings. 1) King Sejong's absolute trust in Sinmi, 2) Sinmi's outstanding linguistic talent in Sanskrit. 3) King Sejong's donation of Amitaba-Triad Buddha images to Bokcheonsa Temple and Sejong's granting a respecting title of 'Wugukise Hyeogakjonja' to Sinmi. 4) Sinmi's vow to educate and spread 'Hunminjeongeum' based on Buddhism, and 5) Sejo's visit Sinmi at Bokcheonsa Temple. Furthermore, if the tales related to 'Hunminjeongeum' creation are activated into a type of national or regional events or festivals without remaining simply in a story level, it would be a good way to spread the excellence of convergence K-culture with various culture contents.

  • Recently, various media such as broadcasting, movies, and mobile converge with game elements, expanding the contents and expanding the area. This study focuses on the gamification convergence contents. Among them, we examine the case of mobile application live quiz show by applying the formal elements of the game mentioned by Tracy Fullerton. The elements have all the formal elements of the game, which led to the conclusion that they lead the audience to immersion based on the play characteristics of the game. This can be attributed to the elements of the game that have penetrated into the contents, and it can be reinterpreted, and the directions of new contents can be presented, which is industrially, culturally and academically significant. This study focuses on the industrial and cultural achievements created by contents, and plans and prospects new content that balances play and usefulness.

  • Lake Biwa Canal was a dream project that reminds us the passion and innovation of Kyoto Citizens more than water supply. It is a modernization project combining engineering knowledge and scientific technology, which started transportation by ship through big-scale civil construction as well as supplying electricity as the first waterpower plant in Japan, and it overcame the physiographic limit through adopting unique method of waterway transportation. Lake Biwa Canal, which has tangible and intangible culture heritage value as the traditional space of Kyoto, the Old Capital of 1200 years, conceives a cultural meaning that is connected through various mutual relation as well as scientific technologic factor. Lake Biwa Canal is not only the function for supplying water to gardens and temples of Kyoto region, but it is also a cultural fruit that is formed by complex causal relationship of various contents such as geographical and environmental background, the phases of the times, local development policy, political circumstances and religions. This study is aimed at interpreting the value of Lake Biwa Canal multilaterally by the convergence of cultural and technological aspects through the view of the world which the age tried to pursue, focusing on the construction of Lake Biwa Canal which was accomplished in the process of promoting the modernization of Kyoto.

The Convergence Effects of Nursing Organizational Culture, Workplace Bullying, and Hospital Violence Attitude on Psychological Wellbeing among Clinical Nurses (간호조직문화, 직장내 괴롭힘, 병원폭력에 대한 태도가 간호사의 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 융합적 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between nursing organization culture, workplace bullying, hospital violence attitude, and psychological wellbeing. Data were collected from April 12, 2018 to April 23, 2018 for 107 nurses working at university hospital. The relationship between nursing organizational culture, workplace bullying, hospital violence attitude, and psychological wellbeing was analyzed by Pearson's correlation coefficient. The linear regression was used to identify the factors that affect the psychological wellbeing of the variables. Psychological wellbeing and workplace bullying showed a negative correlation, whereas psychological wellbeing, awareness of hospital violence attitude, innovation-oriented culture and relationship-oriented culture showed positive correlations. Relationship-oriented culture and awareness of hospital violence attitude showed 17.3% explanatory power on psychological wellbeing. Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to develop a nursing organizational culture improvement program that can enhance the psychological wellbeing of nurses.

STEAM Education considering the Level of Cognitive Development of Students in order to Cultivate Creative Convergence Talents (창의적 융합인재양성을 위해 학생들의 인지발달 수준을 고려한 융합인재교육)

  • The STEAM education was applied to science high school students, and changes in perceptions of students and teachers were investigated after class treatment. By the results of the student's perception survey, very positive results were found in increasing problem-solving capabilities, educational satisfaction, etc. More than 98% of students said they would continue to participate in STEAM education classes. Meanwhile, the lack of time for class activities put a burden on students to complete the problems during class. Especially nanoscience content and activities were properly organized in consideration of the level of cognitive development of the students. In addition, as a result of a survey of teachers' perceptions for students, more than 80.0% of teachers responded very positively in 'self-directed learning ability' and 'problem-solving capability', etc.

  • This study aims at examining the making and distribution course of performing arts and its converged form with technology and industry in terms of the Contents Promotion Act. Since the 2000s, the inter-area contents making and sharing methods have been changing the making and distribution structure of performing arts. The recent production of performing arts contents live videos extends the areas of arts creation and communication beyond the time and spatial boundaries of performing arts and changes the existing systems. The performing arts which started with nowness and spatio-temporal restriction on the premise is now creating a new platform over the spatio-temporal boundary through the live video. Performing arts, in convergence with the areas of technology and industries, expands universal approaches and shows the public value of cultural fairness at public performing arts centers. In this context, this study aims at seeking the possible extension of performing arts contents by examining how the so-called high-class performing arts such as opera, theatre and classical music combines with the visual industry.

  • The Study aims at carrying out basic research on the future housing culture plan by the aging and low fertility phenomenon which is the most serious problem that Korean society faces today. In the future, the housing culture will be transformed into a 'convergence housing complex's residential culture' that can be coexisted with households with various members, rather than a housing type represented by apartments today, due to the phenomenon of nuclear family and the increase of one resident. In this regard, this study is a basic study on the housing complex culture of Korea. It is not that the hosing complex culture has been imported from the western society today, but the Korean traditional housing complex's culture proposed by Korean first developer Segwon Jeong has already existed in Korea urban and architectural perspective. In the early 20th century, Segwon's improved Hanok planned to complement the disadvantages of the existing hanok and the modernization of hanok such as the standardization of hanok, moreover the most important point is the beginning of the Korean style housing complex by modernization of the inner space of hanok. It is expected that this study for Segwon's housing complex of improved hanok will provide important basic data for the Korean-style convergence residential culture plan needed for our society in the future.

  • There are various remedies that are proposed from aspects of education and social welfare for social integration of multi-cultural families which is different from ethnic and cultural background. This study proposed educational process model for information literacy education of multi-cultural children. The proposed model is consedered to reduce digital divide by using five factor from the earlier information literacy. At last, this study explained characteristics, objective, contents, teaching-learning method and estimating method of proposed model.

The Development of the Convergence Education Program based on the Creation of Scientific and Cultural Content (과학문화콘텐츠 구성을 기반으로 한 융합형 교육 프로그램의 개발 방안)

  • Recently there are growing needs and demand to enhance 'Unity of knowledge' as the concept of "Creating new value through integration and convergence" is developing rapidly in many different areas in the society. This also has significant implication to education. Especially, it requires paradigm shift in terms of required capabilities and qualifications for the students with science major. To accommodate this trend, Natural Sciences and Engineering's College has been increasing convergence education which focus on cultivating creative and cooperative learning capabilities as well as acquiring fundamental knowledge of individual majors. However, convergence education developed and implemented by Sciences college or liberal education so far has been mechanical combination of knowledge from different academic fields - not effectively integrated and interdisciplinary education. Given this situation, this research is to develop and propose a "convergence education program based on the development of scientific and cultural contents" as an education tool to enhance capabilities to apply and re-create integrated knowledge as well as acquire and learn existing knowledge. Education program developed in this research aims to achieve two different and sequential capabilities. First is to understand 'Science and Technology' and 'Cultural Archetype' which would be essential and useful to create cultural contents. Second is to develop capabilities to convert this understanding into cultural contents - a storytelling capability. This education program is differentiated in that it defines cultural contents as a medium to converge and integrate science and technology and humanities. By leveraging the concept of cultural content and storytelling, this education program would be able to overcome restrictions of existing interdisciplinary approach. Also, this program would encourage students to try in-depth research and new applications, and develop logical and creative thinking.
