  • This study aims to suggest an environment in which audience can play the role of micro-influencers after exploring the factors of satisfaction focusing on audiences who attended the Seoul Dance Film Festival(SeDaFF). In order to meet the research goal, among the audiences who attended SeDaFF, articles mentioning this festival on their SNS were collected and this data was analyzed using the LDA topic model. As a result, the most important satisfaction factor when visiting a dance film festival was the program. It might seem cliché to discuss the importance of programs at film festivals, but through the examination, this study made the case that if the satisfaction factor is met, it is still possible to influence the behavioral intentions and reinforcing the role of a micro-influencer even in a genre with a strong artistic nature and a limit to audience development. Furthermore, this study was intended to contribute to broadening the scope of research on the audience.

  • The purpose of this study is verifying whether convergence does its role as a transfer medium in dance expression or not, finding the effect of convergence characteristics and confirming whether it would bring change and new creation in performance art or not. This study suggests that studies on convergence in dance are required in accordance with the trend of time. This study believes that convergence is a modern art expression method, which can maximize the artistic expression in dance work and it will play an important role in the advance of dance works. There are ongoing studies on convergence art genre by many creators; however, still academic study this matter is not sufficient. Therefore, it is believed that more studies on convergence genre from the viewpoint of human studies are required. Accordingly, this study took Blush, the dance art works of Wim Vandekeybus, as the subject of study because convergence is clearly visible in these works. It is possible to draw convergence from these works because the works attempt new creation and utilize image by accommodating other genre art in dance art. The convergence in these works maximizes the originality of choreography and expands the time and space of stage through various effects. In other words, it is possible to see that Wim Vandekeybus is doing new attempts in his dance works by experimental elements, which escaped from simple movement, and convergence appears in the works.

  • Stage art basically builds upon the essence of "seeing," and at the same time, possesses relativity in showing and seeing. Stage lighting uses artificial light to solve the essence of "seeing", which is the foundation of stage art, and coming into the modern age, its role has been enhanced to an important medium for visual expression in stage art, due to the lighting tools that developed at a rapid pace along with the discovery of electricity, as well as the development of optics. Therefore, not only does lighting use a medium known as light in a field of stage art that gives mental and emotional inspiration to the audience, and aesthetically expresses time and space. In other words, stage lighting is a complex function of light engineering (technology and science) and aesthetic sense (feeling and art). This study aims to do research on methods for the visualization of stage space through lighting, mainly focused on dancing. I have studied the basics of stage lighting, its relations with other fields of stage art, and the functions and characteristics of lighting. Results show that lighting could be used to maximize the visualization of dancing and emphasizing the artistic growth of lighting and its ability to aesthetically express and I came to the following conclusions. First, lighting uses the forms and directions of light that various tools are able to produce in order to visualize the space on stage, and can maximally express the image that the work seeks. Second, it is possible to use lighting, through the movement of light, as a visual representation of the configuration of space in dancing works. Third, through the expression of visual and spatial aspects created by light, the work's dramatic catharsis can bring out mental and emotional feelings form the audience. Fourth, lighting can be seen not as a supporting role, but as an original visual design. To conclude, in order for lighting to be freed form the simple function of "lighting up the stage," which a majority of people think is common knowledge, and grow as one area in art, lighting designers must understand the intentions of the choreographer and the work with creativity and artistry they must consider light and color as an aesthetic language in order to heighten the effects of the work and allow it to partake as one element of work creation, so that lighting will be treated as a form of art.

If the university based dance research center is activated in this field, it can be an alternative by actively interacting with the residents of the community. Therefore this study was surveyed by specialists on invigorating dance institutes by applying new industrial development. Since then, workers were requested to evaluate importance and urgency of 23 questionnaires collected. As a result, the most important item was program development, and the most urgent was financial support. The first ranked sub-item of program development was organization of R&D cost(importance) and recruitment of professionals(urgency). Regarding financial support, it was budget increase and eligibility expansion of staff cost(importance) and subdivision and extended support for labor cost.

  • This study aims to investigate the interrelationship between German expressionist dance and grotesque art, with a specific focus on the analysis of Pina Bausch's renowned work, <Café Müller>. German expressionist dance emerged as a response to the social instability and economic downturn that followed World War I, leading to the introduction of expressionism and grotesque aesthetics. The incorporation of grotesque expression in dance plays a critical role in boldly portraying the destruction of the human condition and its underlying causes, thereby offering insights into social contradictions and the erosion of human nature. This research thoroughly explores the intricate connection between German expressionist dance and grotesque expression, providing a comprehensive analysis of Pina Bausch's <Café Müller> to reassess the profound meaning and significance of expressionist dance. Additionally, this study delves into the inherent grotesque tendencies embedded within the work, surpassing conventional notions of visual beauty and ugliness, and strives to reinterpret the essence of grotesque expression through the nuanced movements of the dancers and the integration of auditory elements within the performance.

  • This research clarified a neuroscientific mechanism from somatics in dance contents developed using somatics methods through literature studies. To clarify these, first, I organized neuroscientific mechanism in somatics, second, researched neuroscientific mechanism in dance contents adopted from somatics practice. Somatics is limited to Feldenkrais Method. It is possible to explain neuroscientific mechanism through neuro-plasticity, proprioception and Sensory Integration. As a result Gaga and Tamalpa take the method Awareness thorugh Movement from Feldenrkrais. They integrate newly formed networks by informations from proprioceptive senses. This study is significant that suggest brain scientific practices in dances and somatics, explain mechanism between brain and body in dance practices and provide a base that explains mechanism of body movement in a view of brain science to choreographers and dancers to apply this mechanism in their study and training.

Therefore, Six attributes were derived: physical evidence, tickets, people, information, product, and reputation. Based on these attributes, the selected attributes were identified through 'ETPB(Extended Theory of Planned Behavior)' to see if they affect ticket purchase behavior. In result, Among the selection attributes of contemporary dance performances, three attributes of reputation, people and product influenced the audience's attitude, while only product and human attributes influenced the purchase intention of tickets. Among the variables of ETPB to enhance the ability to purchase intention of tickets, audience attitude, perceive behavior control, and prior knowledge have had a positive effect on purchase intention of tickets, except for subjective norm. Therefore, it is meaningful that this study presented and verified empirically the attributes of select centered on visitors, which can improve the intention of purchasing tickets for contemporary dance performances.
