A Study on the Integrated Communication Systems for a Remote Control of Radio Communication Equipments (무선통신장치의 원격제어를 위한 통합통신 시스템에 관한 연구)

  • The radio communications by SSB and VHF transceivers are still used very efficiently in coast stations and military base stations. The communication system by the conventional SSB and VHF transceivers between a coast station and a terminal is an one-to-one system. In this dissertation, however, the conventional one-to-one system is expanded to one-to-multiple systems. Then, frequencies can be used effectively for distress, urgency, safety traffic, and military communications. An ICS has been proposed and added, in this dissertation, to the conventional SSB and VHF communication systems, which can realize one-to- several terminal communications. The line switching system by the ICS is to be remote-controlled by ASK modulated PTT signals and audio signals. An ICS can change a connection between terminal and transceiver through a circuit switching system at any time. For this purpose, the author has researched and developed a ASK transmission system, ICS system, control algorithm, multiprocessor system, and moni-toring system. As a conclusion, the developed line switching control systems and equipments can be used effectively for maritime communication, military communication, fishery communication, etc.

  • As the Internet business has been growing rapidly, Internet users or Internet service providers have requested stable service. Along with them, the protection of data such as the management of computer information system and the prevention of barriers has become an important element. This study has embodied the remote control system that manages the scattered resources and service using JMX (Java Management Extensions) in the mobile environment and it has also suggest the method of connecting it with the remote terminal. Through the system suggested in this study, system managers are able to manage the system safely through their own regardless of time and space with the aid of mobile phone.

  • In case of display a lot of information from mobile devices, those systems are being developed that display the information from mobile devices on remote devices such as TV using the mobile devices as remote controllers because it is difficult to display a lot of information on mobile devices due to their limited bandwidth and small screen sizes. A lot of cost is required to design and develop interfaces for these systems corresponding to each of remote display devices. In this paper, a mobile environment based remote display system for displays at real times is proposed for continuous monitoring of status data for unique 'Mote IDs'. Also, remote data are collected and monitored through sensor network devices such as ZigbeX by applying status perception based remote displays at real times through processing ubiquitous computing environment data, and remote display applications at real times are implemented through PDA wireless mobiles. The system proposed in this paper consists of a PDA for remote display and control, mote embedded applications programming for data collections and radio frequency, server modules to analyze and process collected data and virtual prototyping for monitoring and controls by virtual machines. The result of the implementations indicates that this system not only provides a good mobility from a human oriented viewpoint and a good usability of accesses to information but also transmits data efficiently.

  • In this paper we designed and implemented a wireless communication circuit which can control the remote devices integrating RFID and ZigBee. This system unifies transmit part and receive part. And this system recognizes RFID tag data, then the recognized information is controlled by MCU, and transmitted to a remote device through the ZigBee. This is operated on TinyOS. If this system is applied to a entrance security system, it can permit/deny one's entrance as well as control the personal computer or other electronic devices. Our experiment shows the result of the recognized data transmission is very different according to a opened playground and a closed place. The data transmission time is stable in the indoor and the data transmission distance is long in the outdoor. We anticipate that our system be applied the various office oriented domains by connecting to the Wired LAN or the WLAN of IEEE 802.11x category.

  • Based on the rapid development of IT technology and deployment of the Internet through high speed networks, network environments have been changed from office oriented environment based on business industries and public institution even to the interconnection to digital electronics in the home network. Home network based applications are very diverse and the remote monitoring and control areas have been studied. In this paper, we present the design and implementation of real time remote video monitoring system which provide the moving pictures on the web page through the Internet using JMFI. In addition, we present the design of remote light control system based on Zigbee.

  • In this paper, we implement the network image control system in which a wireless robot with a built camera monitors the dangerous place where human cannot approach. In the proposed network image control system, the noise occurred in wireless communication is reduced by implementing the noise eliminating circuit and the driving time of a wireless robot is increased by adopting the mercury battery. By constructing the image control network with the Internet, the image is monitored controled in the remote site with a wireless robot.

  • 현대사회는 대부분의 생활을 전자기기를 통해 생활하며 전자기기가 없어서는 안 되는 사회가 되었다. 전자기기의 사용을 제어할 수 있으면 어떨까 라는 생각과 함께 전기 사고로 인한 화재와 전기 사용으로 인한 불안감이 증가하고 있는 점에 주목하였다. 요즘 사회는 전자기기의 사용이 증감함에 따라 대기 전력에 대한 이슈 또한 증가하면서 대기 전력에 관한 관심이 증가하고 있으며 이를 줄이기 위한 정부와 지자체에서 다각도의 노력이 진행 중이다. 매년 1천 건 이상의 전기로 인한 사고가 발생하며 사망자는 50명을 넘어가고 있다. 이러한 위험성을 줄이고 전기로 인한 사고를 예방하기 위해 아두이노와 앱을 무선통신하여 가전제품의 전력사용량을 확인할 수 있으며, 애플리케이션을 통한 제어가 가능하고 전력사용량에 따른 전기세의 계산 또한 가능한 '원격제어가 가능한 스마트 멀티플러그 시스템'을 계발하게 되었다.

  • In this paper, we implemented an wireless remote control and monitoring system by using Globalstar satellite modem. This system is composed of the data terminal equipment of Globalstar data communication system using microcontroller, C8051F023, and WGIS(Web-based GIS) user program. We tested the wireless remote control and monitoring system with data terminal equipment and user program how to work properly, and verified that the user could confirm the data from the data terminal equipment, which can provide the status of input/output devices and the information of location with the main and control dialog by GIS(Geographic Information System) program. For data communication of between data terminal equipment and user program, we programed PPP and TCP/IP protocol to communicate with each other. Some GIS tools used in this program are ArcView and MapObject from ESRI to offer various visual mapping information to the user.

  • This study presents the remote control of a mobile robot using iPhone based on ad hoc communication. Two control interfaces are proposed to control a mobile robot using iPhone : Remote control by a user and autonomous control. To evaluate the effectiveness of algorithms for trajectory following, a simulator are developed where a virtual robot follows a referenced trajectory in a monitor by iPhone interface. In the proposed simulator, some algorithms are tested how they work well or not for trajectory following of a mobile robot. Comparative results by remote user control and autonomous control are shown. Results of an experiment show that the proposed simulator can be effectively used for testing the effectiveness of autonomous tracking algorithms.

  • 현재 까지 지능형 자동차의 서비스 형태는 주로 차량 운전자에 대한 유용한 정보제공과 엔터테인먼트를 중심으로 연구 되어 왔다. 그러나 유비쿼터스 환경에서의 지능형 자동차와 같이 시간과 장소의 구애됨없이 언제 어디서든 자동차와의 대화와 제어가 가능한 서비스 제공에는 많은 제약 사항을 가진다. 본 논문에서는 CDMA 이동통신망을 이용하는 웹기반 차량 무선원격제어 및 진단을 위한 지능형 차량정보시스템을 설계 및 구현 하였다. 구현한 지능형차량정보시스템은 언제 어디서든 웹브라우져를 통하여 원격지 차량의 제어와 진단이 가능하며, 제어 조작자와 차량 간의 이동성을 제공하다. 뿐만 아니라 인터넷 상의 차량제어서버를 이용하여 차량 진단을 위한 과거 차량 상태 내역을 제공해 줄 수 있기 때문에 보다 효과적인 차량 원격제어와 진단이 가능한 장점을 가진다.
