Manufacture of Low-Speed Type Inductive Coupler Using Nano-Crystalline Alloy (나노결정 합금재료를 이용한 저속형 비접촉식 커플러의 제조)

  • 전력선 통신용 비접촉식 커플러는 고속형(2~30 MHz)과 저속형(100~450KHz)으로 나누어 볼 수 있는데, 고속형은 현재 국내에서 독자적으로 개발되어 다양한 모델이 적용되고 있는 상황이지만, 저속형은 시작품수준으로 제조되어 있으나 신호전송 특성의 향상절구가 필요한 상황이다. 전력선 통신용 커플러는 전력선 또는 모뎀으로 통신신호를 전달하는 기능을 하는 것으로서, 전력선 통신을 위한 핵심부품이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 100~450 KHz 대역에서 사용 가능한 저속형 비접촉식 커플러를 제조하기 위해, 권선조건, 대전류형 자심재료의 모의 해석, 노이즈 필터조건, 임피던스 매칭, 하우징방법 등의 각 공정 변수를 확립하고자 하였다. 자심재료의 모의해석에서 자심재료의 높이와 전력선 도체 단면적 변화는 자심재료의 전류포화특성에 영향을 미치지 않으며, 유효길이와 에어-갭 크기가 증가할수록 전류포화특성은 향상되는데, 자심재료의 내경이 64 mm일 때 자심재료의 폭((외경-내경)/2)은 15 mm 이상이어야 하고, 에어-갭은 약 $600\;{\mu}m$ 정도의 에어-갭을 형성시켜야함을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 저속용 비접촉식 커플러 제조조건 실험에서 내경${\times}$외경${\times}$높이가 $64{\times}94{\times}140mm$인 자심재료를 이용하여 권선 수와 에어-갭을 각각 3회, $400{\sim}600\;{\mu}m$ 삽입했을 때, 가장 우수한 특성을 나타내었다. 그리고 저역 통과 필터를 출력부에 내장하여 통신신호 이외의 노이즈를 제거할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서 제조된 300 A급 지중선용 저속형 비접촉식 커플러는 내경${\times}$외경${\times}$높이가 $58{\times}1144{\times}158mm$이고, 100~450 KHz 통신대역에서 약$7{\pm}2dB$의 삽입손실을 나타내었다.

  • In this paper, an efficient algorithm is established in order to estimate the plastic properties of power-law hardening bulk specimen materials with one simple spherical indentation impression test. This work is based on a new formulation of representative strain and, therefore, compare to the preceding approaches the fitting parameters are significantly reduced. Moreover, the new definition of representative strain endowed more physical meaning to the representative strain. In order to verify the reliability of the reverse analysis, we have studied a broad set of materials whose property ranges cover essentially all engineering metals and alloys. Based on the indentation force-displacement P-${\delta}$ curves obtained from numerical simulations, the characteristics of the indentation response and material elastoplastic properties are bridged via explicit functions. Next, through the procedure of reverse analysis the yield stress and power-law hardening exponent of bulk specimen materials can be determined. Finally, good agreement between the result from reverse analysis and initial input data from experiment can be observed.

Interfacial Microstructure Evolution between Liquid Au-Sn Solder and Ni Substrate (액상 Au-Sn 솔더와 Ni 기판의 계면현상에 대한 고찰)

  • Eutectic Au-20Sn(compositions are all in weight percent unless specified otherwise) solder alloys were soldered on the Ni substrate with various time and temperature. The composition, phase identification and morphology of intermetallic compounds(IMC) at the interface were examined using Scanning Electron Microscopy(SEM). There were two types of IMCs, $(Au,Ni)_3Sn_2$ and $(Au,Ni)_3Sn$ at the interface. The transition in morphology of $(Au,Ni)_3Sn_2$ has been observed at $300{\~}400^{\circ}C$. The morphology transition of $(Au,Ni)_3Sn_2$ is due to the decrease of enthalpy of formation of $(Au,Ni)_3Sn_2$ phase and has been explained well by Jackson's parameter with temperature. Because the number of diffusion channel is different at each soldering temperature, IMC thickness is nearly same at all temperature.

도금법을 사용한 주석 나노와이어 배터리 음극재료의 제작 및 전기화학적 특성 분석

  • 최근 석유에너지의 고갈과 휴대용 전자기기의 사용의 증가로 고효율의 배터리의 개발이 요구되고 있다. 생체칩에서 부터 전기자동차, 에너지 저장체까지 광범위한 산업군에 걸처 배터리의 개발이 되고 있어 시장규모의 계속적인 성장이 있을 것으로 전망하고 있다. 현재 상용되고 있는 음극 재료는 카본재료(이론 용량 372 mAh/g)이다. 이 카본재료의 특징은 값이 싸고, 표준 환원전위가 낮아 비교적 높은 전압을 낼 수 있다. 그러나 낮은 에너지밀도를 갖으므로 높은 에너지를 필요로 하는 차세대 산업군인 전기자동차 등에는 적합하지 않은 것으로 평가되고 있다. 그래서 더 높은 에너지 밀도를 갖는 다른 재료들에 대한 연구들이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 음극 재료로서 주석을 선택해서 연구를 하였다. 카본계열의 음극재료의 질량당 이론 에너지 밀도는 372 mAh/g임에 반해 주석같은 경우는 약 991 mAh/g 정도의 비교적 큰 이론용량을 갖고 있다. 하지만, 주석 등 금속, 혹은 금속 합금을 음극재료로 사용할 경우 많은 양의 리튬이 삽입/탈착되면서 약 300% 이상의 부피변화가 있게 된다. 그러한 과정에서 주석이 분쇄되어 떨어지거나 전자를 제공받는 집전체로부터 떨어지게 되고, 이 과정에서 심각한 에너지 밀도의 손실이 일어나게 된다. 이러한 문제점들을 극복하기 위해 다음과 같은 구조들을 고안하여 도금 공정을 사용하여 음극재료를 제작하여 실험을 진행하게 되었다. 도금법은 대면적을 싼 가격으로 할 수 있으며 원하는 두께 및 모폴로지까지 쉽게 조절할 수 있다. 부피팽창에 의한 스트레스를 최소화하기 위해 도금법을 사용하여 나노구조를 만들어 그에 따른 전기화학적 특성 변화를 측정하였다. 다공성 필름인 AAO 디스크의 한 면에 구리를 sputtering 공정을 사용하여 0.5 um 두께의 seed layer 구리 박막을 형성하고 형성된 구리 박막 위에 도금공정을 이용하여 두껍게 구리를 증착함으로 구리 음극 집전체를 형성한다. 그 후 AAO 구조 안에 주석을 도금하면 AAO의 구조를 따라 주석 나노와이어가 형성이 된다. 마지막으로 NaOH로 AAO를 제거해주면 직경 200 nm, 길이 2 um 정도의 주석 나노와이어를 구리 집전체위에 만들 수 있었다. 배터리의 용량을 측정한 결과 안정한 싸이클 특성과 약 400 mAh/g의 에너지 밀도를 갖는 것으로 나타났다.

Optimal Structural Design and Fatigue Analysis of Radius Rod by Response Surface Method (반응표면법에 의한 레디어스로드 최적구조설계 및 피로해석)

  • This paper aims to obtain the effect of lightweight on Radius rod. The response surface method used in the paper is the statistical method. Optimization method is performed with the Radius rod using the lightweight material. Structural analysis is executed by using the ANSYS program to find static and dynamic responses. From this study result, it is verified that the response surface method has the advantage of optimum value in comparison with other optimization methods. The analysis is also performed by response surface method to derive optimal design values. Steel model and aluminium initial model are obtained by finite element analysis to clarify design criteria and the results are compared with three models each other. The weights can be reduced by optimal design analysis results of these models similar to those of existing products. The quantitative goals in this study can also attained through results of fatigue analyses. The reliability on optimal design of Radius rod can be improved by use of structural and fatigue analysis results.

Effect of Epoxy Dielectric Cooling on existing metal Porticoes in GIS (GIS내 금속이물 존재시 에폭시 절연코팅의 효과)

  • In this paper, partial discharges(PDs), lift off and breakdown voltage were measured when metal particles existed in a model GIS coated with epoxy resin on its bottom electrode, and the measured results were analyzed after comparing with the model DIS not coated. In order to presume the various fault case in GIS, we measured the experimental values with changing some experimental factors, such as the mixture ratio of SF$\_$6//N$_2$, the pressure of the gases, the kinds and diameter of the metal particles, and the coating thickness of the epoxy resin. As a result, the PDIV increased with the thickness of the epoxy resin, while the magnitude of PDs decreased at the same condition. The lift off voltages of steel alloy particles were higher than that of copper particles, and increased wit diameter of particles. Futhermore, the lift off voltages in the case of the electrode coated with epoxy resin were higher than that in the case of the uncoated one. In addition, the thicker the thickness of the epoxy resin was, the higher the breakdown voltage were. Thus, it was confirmed that the GIS coated with epoxy resin on its inner surface could be improved in insulation performance.

Recyclability Estimation of Fuel Tank Module in Vechicle (자동차 연료탱크 모듈의 재활용성 평가)

  • We analyzed recyclability of the fuel tanks made from steel or aluminum alloy. For a comparison of the fuel tank recyclability, first we had analyzed the process of disassembly in a vehicle and evaluated its disassemblability. Then we evaluated the recyclability for reuse and withdrawal. The processes were more or less same owing to the similarity of fastening method of fuel tank and components. However, the fuel tank of the aluminum alloy was easier (about 5%) to disassembly than the fuel tank of steel. This could be attributed to the differences in weight of steel and aluminium. On light of the withdrawal and reuse, the fuel tank made up of steel needed to plate with zinc or lead due to its anti-corrosiveness. Hence, it required additional processes. In this paper, we were explaining the results of our on going research on the recyclability of fuel tanks made of steel and aluminum alloys. The differences that we found between the fuel tank made up of the aluminum alloy and steel were in their weight, recyclability, disassemblability, anticorrosive property, cost and productivity.

Study on Friction Characteristic of Sintered Friction Component for Synchronizer-Ring of Diesel Vehicle (디젤차량 싱크로나이저링을 위한 소결마찰재 개발 및 접합특성 평가)

  • The speed change performance of transmissions has become a serious issue because of the increase in the inertia moment that has accompanied increases in engine output and transmission size. Therefore, it is necessary to develop better wear resistant friction materials. In this study, an appropriate sintered friction component for the synchronizer ring of a diesel manual transmission was developed, and its bonding characteristics were analyzed. That is, a process for bonding an Fe-based base material and Cu-based sintered friction material was developed. BSE and EDX analyses of this bonding layer were conducted, along with a shear strength test, to determine the bonding characteristics.

  • The weight reduction design process of tension links could be studied based on the variation of tension, bending and torsional stiffness after substituting STKM11A steels with aluminum alloys (A356) with tensile strength of 245 MPa. The existed I-beam type link component may have a weak point for loads applied from a special direction. Therefore, it was investigated to the optimal shape of the link component that could withstand loads from all directions and at the same time reduce weight. Various types of link shapes were designed and analyzed, and the optimized shape was found. The optimized design can reduce over 40% of the original steel link weight, and it could be suggested for light-weight design guides and safe design conditions for the development of tension links.

An Investigation of Dispersion Behavior of Y2O3 Ceramic Particles in Hypo, Eutectic and Hyper Binary Al-Cu Cast Alloys (아공정, 공정, 과공정 조성의 Al-Cu 주조합금에서의 Y2O3 분말의 분산 거동에 대한 연구)

  • In this work, the dispersion behavior of $Y_2O_3$ particles in binary aluminum (Al)-copper (Cu) cast alloy was investigated with respect to Cu contents of 20 (hypoeutertic), 33 (eutectic) and 40 (hypereutectic) wt.%. In cases of hypo and hypereutectic compositions, SEM images revealed that the primary Al and ${\theta}$ phases were grown up at the beginning, respectively, and thereafter the eutectic phase was solidified. In addition, it was found that some of $Y_2O_3$ particles can be dispersed into the primary Al phase, but none of them are is observed inside the primary 6 phase. This different dispersion behavior of $Y_2O_3$ particles is probably due to the difference in the val- ues of specific gravity between $Y_2O_3$ particles and primary phases. At eutectic composition, $Y_2O_3$ particles were well dispersed in the matrix since there is few primary phases acting as an impediment site for particle dispersion during solidification. Based on the experimental results, it is concluded that $Y_2O_3$ particles are mostly dispersed into the eutectic phase in binary Al-Cu alloy system.
