  • 학습시스템의 컨텐츠 제공방식은 제작된 컨텐츠를 모든 수강생에게 일괄적으로 제공하는 방식을 사용한다. 본 논문에서는 학습자의 정보를 이용하여 학습자를 분류한 후 학습자의 수준에 따라 컨텐츠를 제공하기 위해 학습자 정보를 저장하고, 또한 컨텐츠의 개별 내용을 모듈화하여 학습자에 따라 컨텐츠를 새롭게 구성할 수 있는 시스템을 구현하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 여러 가지 분산통합 검색 방법 중 학습을 이용한 분산통합 검색 시스템을 설계한다. 분산통합 검색시스템의 여러 가지 이슈 중 결과통합 문제에 주안점을 두었으며, 설계목적은 다양한 학습방법을 적용한 검색 결과 통합 실험을 위함이다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 확장성을 고려한 모듈화를 통한 설계를 적용하여 다양한 실험과 향후 컬렉션 선택모듈, 질의변환 모들도 삽입이 가능하도록 설계하였다.

IT Convergence u-Learning Contents using Agent Based Modeling (에이전트 기반 모델링을 활용한 IT 융합 u-러닝 콘텐츠)

  • The purpose of this research is to develope and implement a convergent educational contents based on theoretical background of integrated education using agent based modeling in the ubiquitous learning environment. The structure of this contents consists of three modules that were designed by trans-disciplinary concept and situated learning theory. These three modules are: convergent problem presenting module, resource of knowledge module and learning of agent based modeling and IT tools module. After the satisfaction survey of the implemented content, out of 5 total value, the average value was 3.86 for effectiveness, 4.13 for convenience and 3.86 for design. The result of the survey shows that the users are generally satisfied. By using this u-learning contents, learners can experience and learn how to solve the convergent problem by utilizing IT tools without any limitation of device, time and space. At the same time, the proposal of structural design of contents can be a good guideline to the researchers to develop the convergent educational contents in the future.

  • Flooding based routing protocols are usually used to disseminate information in wireless sensor networks. Those approaches, however, require message retransmissions to all nodes and induce huge collision rate and high energy consumption. In this paper, HoGoP (Hop based Gossiping Protocol) in which all nodes consider the number of hops from sink node to them, and decide own gossiping probabilities, is introduced. A node can decide its gossiping probability according to the required average reception percentage and the number of parent nodes which is counted with the difference between its hop and neighbors' ones. Therefore the decision of gossiping probability for network topology is adaptive and this approach achieves higher message reception percentage with low message retransmission than the flooding scheme. Through simulation, we compare the proposed protocol with some previous ones and evaluate its performance in terms of average reception percentage, average forwarding percentage, and forwarding efficiency. In addition, average reception percentage is analyzed according to the application requirement.

  • This study is design and implementation of diagnosis module using item response theory to assess level of student's knowledge in web-based instruction systems. Item response theory uses responses to items on a test or survey questionnaire to simultaneously locate both the items on the latent trait defined by the set of items while simultaneously scaling each item on the very same dimension. Existing method of measurement in web-based instruction system provided dichromatic learning after to be assess just with the total scores of exam. This measurement has an error that do not consider the level of student's knowledge. Moreover, this method can't perform an exact diagnosis of student knowledge and make student modeling to construct intelligent tutoring system. In this study, we present that design and implement a diagnosis module using item response theory to assess level of student's knowledge in web-based instruction systems

  • 분할 및 합병 개념에 바탕을 둔 모듈라 신경망이 자동차 번호판 문자 인식에서 단일 신경망 사용 보다 학습 질 측면이나 학습 속도 면에서 좋은 결과를 보였다. 본 논문에서는 번호판 인식을 위한 모듈라 신경망 구성 시, 특징 벡터 클러스터링 방법에 따른 모듈라 신경망의 성능을 평가하였다. K-means Clustering 알고리즘을 이용하여 유사한 특징 벡터를 그룹핑하는 방법과 본 논문에서 제안한 알고리즘을 사용하여 유사하지 않는 특징 벡터들을 그룹핑하는 방법 각각을 구현하여 실험하였다. 실험결과, 유사하지 않는 특징 벡터들로 모듈라 신경망을 구성할 경우가 그렇지 않은 경우보다 좋은 인식 결과를 보였다.

A Study on the Activation of Construction Practical Course through the Analysis of the Satisfaction Level in NCS Learning Module (NCS 학습모듈 만족도 분석을 통한 건설 교과 실무과목 수업 활성화 방안)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the basic materials needed to plan the NCS Learning Module to be used effectively in practical courses. In this study, teachers and students' satisfaction surveys were collected about the NCS (National Competency Standards) learning module, career and field practice, practical environment used in the construction subject course. This study was conducted on public high schools in Chungcheong province (including Daejeon), which is operating practice course using the NCS learning module. The research questions are as follows; First, how was the satisfaction of teachers and students in the practical subject class using NCS learning module? Second, what is the degree of satisfaction of teacher's career and field practice guidance, student's career decision and field practice after the practical course using NCS learning module? Third, the satisfaction level of the developed NCS learning module and practical subject class using the same was determined by setting whether the number of training of NCS-related teachers or the presence or absence of on-the-job training of students were affected? The results of the study are as follows; As a result of comparing the teachers' and students' satisfaction, the students showed satisfaction in all items, whereas the teachers showed 'content level', 'interest', 'necessary knowledge', 'skill acquisition', 'Improvement of practical skills (level of skill performance)', 'scale of experimental practice', and 'items of experimental practice equipment' were dissatisfied. It was found that the number of NCS related teachers' training (or absence) or the presence of students on the field had an effect on the satisfaction of the developed NCS learning module and the practical course using it. In order to fully utilize the developed NCS learning module in the practical course, it is required to develop and construct the teaching material of the teacher who can serve as an intermediary for conceptualization and understanding of job skills. It is necessary to increase the number of education and training specialists to positively reflect the demands of the education field.

  • The traditional programs developed by the existing CAI technique have the fixed curricular, which make it difficult to deliver various study materials that fit the learners of various levels. In addition, a lack of the flexibility prevents from helping to make their methodology in studying uniform open minded. In order to solve these problems, we have designed and implemented a learner interface that can exclude the limits in the learners active study in solving the fractional operation. In addition to the user interface, this study includes a diagnosis module that can intellectually extract the status of learners understanding, ostensible bugs, and the associated misconceptions through the interface. The experimentation based on the learner interface and the diagnosis module shows that this system correctly diagnoses the level of learners' understanding and the errors in learning, which greatly helps the individualized study.

  • The higher thinking skills, such as creativity and problem-solving about a given problem, are difficult to assess and diagnose. For an accurate diagnosis of these higher thinking abilities, we need to fully observe learner's problem-solving process or learner's individual reports. However, in an online learning or virtual class environments, evaluation of learner's problem-solving process becomes more difficult to diagnose. The best way to solve this problem is through reporting by tracking learner's actions when he tries to solve a problem. In this study, we developed a module which can evaluate and diagnose student's problem-solving ability by tracking actions in MS-Office suite, which is used by students to solve a given problem. This module performs based on the learner's job history through user tracking. To evaluate the effectiveness of this diagnostic module, we conducted satisfaction survey from students who were preparing the actual MOS exams. As a result, eighty-one (81) of the participants were positive on the effectiveness of the learning system with the use of this module.

A Study on Korean Speech Animation Generation Employing Deep Learning (딥러닝을 활용한 한국어 스피치 애니메이션 생성에 관한 고찰)

  • While speech animation generation employing deep learning has been actively researched for English, there has been no prior work for Korean. Given the fact, this paper for the very first time employs supervised deep learning to generate Korean speech animation. By doing so, we find out the significant effect of deep learning being able to make speech animation research come down to speech recognition research which is the predominating technique. Also, we study the way to make best use of the effect for Korean speech animation generation. The effect can contribute to efficiently and efficaciously revitalizing the recently inactive Korean speech animation research, by clarifying the top priority research target. This paper performs this process: (i) it chooses blendshape animation technique, (ii) implements the deep-learning model in the master-servant pipeline of the automatic speech recognition (ASR) module and the facial action coding (FAC) module, (iii) makes Korean speech facial motion capture dataset, (iv) prepares two comparison deep learning models (one model adopts the English ASR module, the other model adopts the Korean ASR module, however both models adopt the same basic structure for their FAC modules), and (v) train the FAC modules of both models dependently on their ASR modules. The user study demonstrates that the model which adopts the Korean ASR module and dependently trains its FAC module (getting 4.2/5.0 points) generates decisively much more natural Korean speech animations than the model which adopts the English ASR module and dependently trains its FAC module (getting 2.7/5.0 points). The result confirms the aforementioned effect showing that the quality of the Korean speech animation comes down to the accuracy of Korean ASR.
