Effect of the Kind of Modified Bubble Sheets on the Temperature Profiles and Crack Reduction of the Concrete under Hot Weather (표면개량 버블시트 종류 변화가 서중환경 콘크리트의 온도 및 균열발생에 미치는 영향)

  • There are various quality deteriorations of concrete such as plastic, drying shrinkage due to abrupt moisture evaporation, slump loss and cold joint under hot weather condition. To protect from above deteriorations, several kinds of modified bubble sheets have been applied to secure heat insulation performance. But, there is not enough application cases of bubble sheets at job site under hot weather condition. The objective of the paper is to investigate the temperature profile and crack occurrence of the concrete covered with five different kinds of surface curing sheets, which is placed under hot weather condition. Single layer transparent bubble sheet, white colored bubble sheet, aluminum metalizing bubble sheet and PE film are adopted for surface curing sheets. Test results indicated that application of aluminum metalizing bubble sheet had most favorable effect on the reduction of on temperature rise and on the crack reduction of concrete. But due to larger reflection of light by aluminum, it brings about visual pollution to the workers. Hence, the application of white colored bubble sheet can be the most desirable alternative to protect the concrete from hot weather in the field.

  • The drastic growth of mobile communication and spreading of smart phone make the significant attention on Location Based Service. The one of most important things for vitalization of LBS is the accurate estimating position for mobile object. Focusing on AP's probabilistic position estimation, we develop an AP distribution map and new pattern matching algorithm for position estimation. The developed approaches can strengthen the advantages of Radio fingerprint based Wi-Fi Positioning System, especiall on the algorithms and data handling. Compared on the existing approaches of fingerprint pattern matching algorithm, we achieve the comparable higher performance on both of average error of estimation and deviation of errors. Furthermore all fingerprint data have been harvested from the actual measurement of radio fingerprint of Seoul, Kangnam area. This can approve the practical usefulness of proposed methodology.

  • In this paper, a type and special feature of Multi-level inverter used in medium-voltage and high-capacity motor driver is introduced. Especially, a power quality and structural advantages of H-Bridge Multi-level inverter is described. It presented the specific structure of power circuit, design method, controller composition and PWM techniques of the cascaded H-Bridge Multi-level inverter which is developed. The feasibility of the developed product based on 3,300V lMVA 7-level H-bridge inverter was studied by experiments and we get conclusion that 1)generate of near-sinusoidal output voltage; 2)is low dv/dt at output voltage; 3)reduce the harmonic injection at input; Experiment demonstrate that it is very economical in productivity because of using the existing production technique and examination equipment, and has the reliability and a good maintenance due to the structure of Power Cell unit combination as well as low cost IGBT.

  • In this paper, we proposed the FNCAC (fuzzy neural call admission control) scheme of the ATM networks which used the benefits of fuzzy logic controller and the learning abilities of the neural network to solve the call admission control problems. The new call in ATM networks is connected if QoS(quality of service) of the current calls is not affected due to the connection of a new call. The neural network CAC(call admission control) system is predictable system because the neural network is able to learn by the input/output pattern. We applied the fuzzy inference on the learning rate and momentum constant for improving the learning speed of the fuzzy neural network. The excellence of the proposed algorithm was verified using measurement of learning numbers in the traditional neural network method and fuzzy neural network method by simulation. We found that the learning speed of the FNCAC based on the fuzzy learning rules is 5 times faster than that of the CAC method based on the traditional neural network theory.

  • 미곡종합처리장 (RPC)에서 수행되고 있는 쇄미선별공정의 개선을 통해, 국내산 백미제품의 쇄립 혼입상태를 보다 더 정밀하게 관리하기 위한 기초 연구로서, 실험 결과를 바탕으로하여 국내 유통백미 제품의 등급판정에 사용할 수 있는 쇄립 기준을 결정하여 제시하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 백미제품 중의 쇄립 허용 혼입율에 관한 우리나라의 규격은, 일본백미 1등 표준품의 기준 및 미국백미 1등급 제품의 기준에 비견될 정도였지만, 쇄립의 정의 자체는 엄격하지 않았다. 또한, 미국과 일본과는 달리, 쇄립 혼입율 차이에 따른 백미 제품의 등급 체제가 존재하지 않았다. 이러한 사실을 종합하여 일본과 미국의 규격과 비교했을 때, 쇄미 혼입에 관한 한 우리나라는 매우 관대한 규격을 적용하고 있다고 판단된다. 2. 국내 유통백미 제품의 경우, 완전립 길이의 3/4 이상인 낟알들이 차지하는 중량 구성비는 93.5%였다. 완전립 길이의 $\frac{1}{4}$∼1/3, 1/3∼$\frac{1}{2}$, $\frac{1}{2}$∼2/3 및 2/3∼$\frac{3}{4}$에 해당하는 길이를 가진 낟알들의 중량비는 각각 0.3, 2.8, 2.7 및 0.6%이어서, 쇄립들의 길이는 2.5mm를 중심으로 주로 분포되어 있었다. 쇄립 혼입정도에 따른 국내 유통백미 제품의 등급은 한국과 일본의 기준을 적용할 경우, 쇄립의 총량 면에서는 만족할만한 수준이었다. 그러나, 한국의 잔싸라기 기준, 일본의 이물 함유비 기준, 미국의 6호체 통과분 기준이 적용될 경우, 국내 유통백미 제품의 등급은 매우 불량하였다. 3. 거의 모든 RPC에서는 쇄미선별설비로 로타리 시프터를 채택, 사용하고 있었으며, 로타리시프터 사용상의 문제는 회전몸체를 지지하는 rod spring의 파손 등 구조와 관련된 것이었다. 로타리 시프터에 의한 쇄립의 선별과 제거정도는 만족할 만한 수준은 아니었다. 4. 국내 유통백미 완전립의 길이, 폭, 두께는 각각 5.02mm, 2.93mm, 2.03mm이었으며, 산물밀도와 천립중은 각각 745.3kg/m3 및 20.46g이었다. 5. RPC 백미제품의 품질경쟁력 향상을 유도하고자 현행 쇄미의 정의와 기준을 보다 강화하여 다음과 같은 쇄미 기준과 계급을 설정, 제시하였다. "완전립" - 길이가 3.75mm이상인 미립 "준완전립" - 길이가 2.5∼3.75mm인 미립 "쇄미" - 길이가 1.75∼2.5 mm인 미립 "이물" - 길이가 1.75mm이하인 미립.

  • 본 연구는 한국건설기술연구원의 주요사업인 "산지하천 유역의 홍수예측을 위한 수문조사(2011~2015년)"의 Test-bed 유역중의 하나인 설마천 유역(경기도 파주시 적성면)을 운영하면서 신뢰성 있는 수문자료를 지속적으로 획득함과 동시에 산지하천 유역의 홍수량 예측과 재해방지 설계기법을 개선하고 수문정보를 제공하는데 있다(Test-bed 유역중의 또 하나인 차탄천 유역은 2011년 수문관측 기반구축 완성). 이를 위하여 2011년에도 지속적인 수문조사를 하였으며, 수문자료의 품질 향상을 위한 관측기기의 유지관리와 수집된 자료의 처리절차를 통하여 신뢰성 있는 수문자료를 생성하고, 이들 자료를 바탕으로 유역의 수문특성을 분석하였다. 또한 홍수량 예측과 재해방지 설계기법 개선을 위해서는 관련 기술조사, 평가와 취약 설계인자를 도출하였으며, 정량화를 위한 시험 및 조사방법을 결정하는 과정을 진행하고 있다. 설마천-차탄천 수문정보시스템(http://seolmacheon.kict.re.kr)은 Test-bed 유역(설마천 유역 이외에 차탄천 유역 포함)에서 생성되는 수문자료를 수집, 저장, 공유하는 기능을 포함하고, 홍수예측 모형(집중형 모형)과 강우레이더 자료(RDAPS 자료)를 결합한 산지하천의 홍수예측을 모의할 수 있는 기능을 추가하였으며, 향후 모의의 정도를 개선하고자 다른 모형과 다른 강우레이더 자료 도입을 목표로 진행할 예정이다. 그리고 Test-bed 유역을 기반으로 한 홍수량 예측 모형의 적용성 평가를 통해 중 소규모 산지하천 유역에 적합한 실시간 홍수예보 시스템 개발과 유역 수문조사 지침서 작성을 통해 가이드를 제시하고자 한다. 2011년 설마천 유역에서 생성된 자료로는 6개 우량관측소의 우량자료, 2개 수위관측소의 하천수위 및 지하수위, 유량측정성과 등이 있으며, 이로부터 산정된 유역평균우량과 유량자료 등이 있다. 확정된 강우-유출자료를 이용하여 강우의 호우사상 분석(강우강도, 지속기간), 강우의 지속기간별 최대강우량, 강우의 시 공간 분포 특성 분석, 월별 유출 및 주요 호우사상의 유출특성 분석 등 기본적인 강우-유출 특성을 분석하였다. 그리고, 유량측정성과의 불확실도 분석을 통하여 측정한 유량자료의 정확도를 제고하였다. 설마천 유역에서 축적된 수문자료는 자료의 공유를 통하여 자료의 검증을 확보함과 동시에 연구성과가 수자원 개발 분야에 활용되기 위해서는 지속적이고 안정적인 자료확보와 수문관측 기술개발을 위한 노력과 투자가 더욱더 필요한 상황이다.

Measurement of Air Tightness of Concrete Block and its Construction Joint from a Model Experiment (모형실험을 통한 콘크리트 블록 및 시공이음부의 기밀성 측정)

  • Underground compressed air energy storage (CAES) system in a lined rock cavern is considered one of the promising large-scale energy storage technologies. In this study, permeabilities of concrete lining block and its construction joint, which are the major components of an air tightness system of the undeground CAES, were measured from a model experiment. From the experiment, it was found that intrinsic permeability of construction joint was larger than that of concrete block by the order scale of $10^1{\sim}10^4$, so that it would be very important to control the quality of construction joints in-situ in order to secure air tightness of storage system. And the permeability of construction joint could be decreased as low as that of the concrete block by pasting an acryl-type adhesive on bonding surfaces. Higher degrees of water saturation of the concrete block resulted in the lower permeability, which is more preferable in the viewpoint of air tightness of storage cavern.

  • A disc-type rotary atomizer affords advantages such as superior paint transfer efficiency, uniformity of paint pattern and particle size, and less consumption of compressed air compared to a spray-gun-type atomizer. Furthermore, it can be applied to all types of painting materials, and it is suitable for large-scale processes such as car painting. The painting quality, which is closely related to the atomizer performance, is determined by the uniformity and droplet size in accordance with the design of the bell disc surface. This study establishes the basics of how to design a surface by modeling the operating bell disc's RPM, diameter, surface angle, and film thickness considering dye characteristics such as the viscosity, density, and surface affinity.

Preparation of Chlorella Drinks and Its Quality Characteristics (클로렐라 음료의 제조와 그 품질 특성)

  • This study was performed to evaluate the quality characteristics of the drink with chlorella and Prunus mume. The chlorella drinks were prepared in four different ratios such as chlorella extract 5%, 10% and Prunus mume extract 0.2%, 0.4% added in chlorella extract 5%. In the color of the chlorella drinks, chlorella extract 10% had lower Hunter's color values(L, a, b) than chlorella extract 5%. The hunter's L(lightness) and a(redness) values were lower for Prunus mume extract 0.4% compared to Prunus mume extract 0.2%, however, there was no difference in the b(yellowness) values. A safety test showed that the drinks are clear from heavy metals and total bacteria and colifom bacteria. In the sensory test of the drinks, the sensory scores(color, taste, flavor, overall acceptability) show the best result on chlorella extract 5%(with Prunus mume extract 0.4% added), followed by chlorella 5%(with Prunus mume extract 0.2% added). The score for chlorella extract 10% was the lowest.

Oxidative Stability and Flavor Compounds of Sesame Oils Blended with Vegetable Oils (식물성유를 첨가한 참기름 혼합유의 산화 안정성과 향기 성분)

  • Oxidative stability and flavor of sesame oil blended with canola oil (Ca), corn oil (Co), and soybean oil (Sb) at ratios of 90 : 10, 70 : 30, and 50 : 50 (w/w), respectively, were evaluated. Oxidative stability of sesame oil increased with the addition of vegetable oils (10, 30, and 50% of Ca and Co, and 10% of Sb). Pyrazines, pyrroles, pyridines, and thiazoles, good contributors to the characteristic flavor of sesame oil, were also found in sesame oil blended with vegetable oil. The sensory evaluation showed that no difference was observed between sesame oil and sesame oil blended with 10% of Ca, Co or Sb, which showed higher oxidative stability.
