FT dating of twelve zircon concentrates was carried out on the igneous rocks in the study area. The FT results from this study are younger than those of Rb-Sr or K-Ar by 20Ma, probably, due to the different closing temperature of the minerals. The obtained ages are $161{\pm}11Ma$ to $150{\pm}10Ma$ for the gneissose granodiorite and the Geochang granodiorite. It is estimated that the intermediate and basic rocks were formed at twice: one from $148{\pm}13Ma$ to $144{\pm}8Ma$, and the other from $122{\pm}8Ma$ to $104{\pm}7Ma$. In the case of the Gajo granite, the age is $96.5{\pm}5.7Ma$ to $95.4{\pm}6.4Ma$. Although considering the fact that the FT age is younger than the K-Ar age, it is likely that the magmatism in the Jurassic period was most intense in the area, which was associated with the Daebo orogeny.

Meridian massage is originated from oriental medical manipulation, and it has been mainly applied to as pain and paralysis. The purpose was to develop new method of nursing care for help hemiplegic patients to recover their functions of upper limbs and to reduce depressions. This study was carried out between 8, March, and 8, June, 2000 and the subjects of the study were .60 hemiplegic stroke patients who were participants at a hospitalized in K oriental medical center. The experimental group(30) and the control group(30) were assigned by means of participation order. The experimental group took meridian massage on affected upper limb for 10 minutes daily for 2 weeks. We evaluated muscle power and endurance with band from AVIVA corp.; range of motion with goniometer; shoulder pain with visual analogue scale; swelling with Jeweiers ring measurement of Dirette; depression with self-rating depression scale translated into Korean by Yang(1982). Data were analyzed by SPSS PC and the results are described below. The experimental group showed better muscle power and endurance than control group. Range of motiont of affected shoulder improved significantly in experimental group. Also, the experimental group showed less shoulder pain, hand edema, depression than control group. In this study, we observed that meridian massage is an effective nursing care in improving the function of upper limb and managing depression of stroke patients.

Purpose: This study is designed to test the effects of a full body massage on Apgar score, postpartum mother's childbirth experience, and mother-infant attachment for primipara during labor. Method: Data were collected using a quasi-experiment method (nonequivalent control group, pre-post test design) from November 1, 2001 to July 31, 2002. The subjects for this experiment consist of 28 women in the experimental group and 29 in the control group, out of 57 primipara hospitalized at the U OB & GYN hospital in Inchon. A 20 minute full body massage was given to the experimental group on each of three delivery phases (latent, active, and transition), and a conventional delivery care to the control group. The experimental tools for the study are Apgar score scale developed by Apgar(1958), postpartum mother's childbirth experience scale developed by Marut and Mercer(1979), and mother-infant attachment scale developed by Cropley et al(1981). The data collected were analyzed using t-test, χ2 test, and ANCOVA on the SPSS program. Result: The results of the experiment are as follows: One minute(t=6.756, p=.000; F=9.181, p=.004), and five minute(t=6.129, p=.000; F=7.918, p=.007) Apgar score are increased significantly. Postpartum mother's childbirth experience is significantly increased(t=11.691, p=.000; F=11.741, p=.001). Verbal touch score(t=5.256, p=.000; F=7.169, p=.010), skin touch score(t=11.332, p=.000; F=27.073, p=.000), and total score(t=12.105, p=.000; F=30.104, p=.000) of postpartum mother's childbirth experience are significantly increased, but not for eye touch score(t=3.236, p=.002; F=.800, p=.375). Conclusion: This study shows that a full body massage has a significant positive effect on Apgar score, postpartum mother's childbirth experience. and mother-infant attachment. Therefore, it is suggested that the full body massage might be used clinically to help primipara during labor.

This study is aimed at elucidating the source rocks of the Hayang strata in the northeastern part of the Gyeongsang Basin. Zircon morphology was analyzed for sandstones from the Iljig, Hupyeongdong, and Jeomgog formations of the Hayang Group and Precambrian gneisses and Jurassic granites. Generally, the composite zircon crystals extracted from the basement rocks and the Hayang Group sandstones show short prismatic to middle prismatic shapes. {110)={100) prism type is dominant and (101) pyramid is the average of the zircon morphology data. Zircon index@) and the shape trend characteristics clearly show that the zircon crystal forms of the Iljig and Hupyeongdong sandstones are dominantly similar to those of the biotite banded gneiss and granite gneiss of Precambrian age. Zircon morphology of the Jeomgog sandstones is dominantly similar to those of the Jurassic granites. Referring to the reported paleocurrent result, the source rocks of the Iljig and Hupyeongdong formations are mainly the Precambrian gneisses distributed in the southeastern and northeastern parts, respectively. And Jeomgog sandstones were mainly derived from Cheongsong granite at Cheongsong uplift region in the eastern part. At the time of completion of the Hupyeongdong sedimentation, the Precambrian basement rocks were severely eroded and formed low topography. During the Jeomgog period, the Jurassic granites which intruded the Precambrian basement began to crop out on the surface. The basin widely extended toward the east and the exposed Jurassic granite of Cheongsong uplift region actively supplied the sediments to the basin.

The Usuki Stone Buddha Statues in Oita are consisted of 60 Buddhas which represent of Japan carved on the rock-cliff in the 12 to 14th centuries. The basement rock of the statues is dark gray welded lapilli tuff that containing the Aso-4 pyroclastic rock group. Deterioration maps for the Hoki I and the Furuzono Buddha Statues group show multi-directional fissures on the Cakra, and sheeting-off zone at the margin of uprising water. Deterioration rate of the Hoki I group was calculated fissure about 121 in number, 19% of sheeting-off zone and 51% of biological weathering in surface of area. And the Furuzono group was also evaluated as about 48 of fissures in number, 24% of sheeting-off zone and 41% biological weathering. The slope stability assessment results, the Hoki I developed discontinuous planes has possibility of planar, toppling and wedge failures in all caves. Ultrasonic velocity of the Aizen-myooh (basement rock) ranges from 1,520 to 2,794 (average 2,298m/s). And pedestal of Amita-yeorae which has been replaced by new fresh rock is measured as 3,242 to 4,141 (average 3,813m/s). Therefore, we establish of planing conservation treatment and reinforcement methods to fissure, cavity, sheeting-off zone in the Buddha surface.

This study examined the fluidity and strength properties, water resistance, durability, and freeze-thaw of cementless loess mortar using an eco-friendly hardening agent. The experimental result indicates that 28 days compressive and flexural strength of the loess mortar was increased regardless of the weathered granite soil and loess mixture ratio as the replacement ratio of the hardening agent increases. The strengths were significantly increased until 14 days regardless of the hardening agent, while the effect on the strengths increasement was relatively low after 14 days. Thus, the strength development of loess mortar concrete was found to be faster than that of the normal concrete. In addition, when the hardening agent of 10% was used, the average flexural strength was 1.7MPa which is insufficient compared to the 28-day flexural strength of 4.5MPa for the paving concrete. However, the flexural strengths of the loess mortar concrete using the hardening agents of 20% and 30% were 4.0MPa and 5.3MPa, respectively. Thus, the hardening agent need to be at least 20% so that the loess mortar can be used for paving concrete. The experiment for water resistance shows that the repeated absorption and dry reduced mass regardless of the mixing ratio of the loess. The maximum length change also decreased with increasing the substitution rate loess mixture ratio and the hardening agent. The result of the freeze-thaw resistance test indicates that the relative dynamic modulus of elasticity at 300 cycle freeze-thaw with the hardening agents of 20% and 30% were 75% and 79%, relatively. Thus, the hardening agent of at least 20% is required to obtain the relative dynamic modulus of elasticity of 60% for the loess mortar.

To investigate the effects of self-management programs for chronic low back pain (LBP), 63 subjects were assigned to three groups; self-exercise group (SEG), hot pack and low-frequency electrical stimulation group (HEG), and thermo-massage group (TMG). Parameters were the pain numeric rating scale (PNRS), Oswestry Disability Index (ODI), Roland Morris Disability Questionnaire (RMDQ) and Relapse frequency (RF). PNRS, ODI and RMDQ of SEG and TMG sustained effectiveness, however, PNRS, which improved after treatment in HEG, worsened in 6 month. Between the groups, all parameters were better in SEG and TMG compare to HEG. Exercise and thermo-massage can be considered as useful self-management performed at home to prevent the relapse of chronic LBP.

This research was done to identify the mass propagation method in winter daphne (Daphne odora Thunb) using its softwood cuttings and to investigate its plant characters established at different light and soil conditions as an indoor plant. Cuttings from winter daphne were taken and grown in different treatment consisted of rooting media (perlite, vermiculite, perlite + vermiculite (1 : 1) and commercial horticulture media soil), indole butyric acid (IBA) hormone concentrations (0, 100, 500, 1000 ppm and Rootone) and date of cutting. Transplants were grown at different light intensities (100, 1000, 2500 lux and control) and growing media. Results showed that cuttings grown in perlite + vermiculite (1 : 1) gave higher percentage (100%) rooting. Cuttings treated with Rootone and IBA 100 ppm showed good rooting growth and cutting taken in June, 25 gave the highest rooting (96.7%). The best plant growth obtained at 1000 lux (56~60 ${\mu}mol{\cdot}m^{-2}{\cdot}s^{-1}$) followed by 2500 lux (125~130 ${\mu}mol{\cdot}m^{-2}{\cdot}s^{-1}$) and scoria mixed with commercial horticulture media soil showed better growth of transplants.

Japanese waterfront project consisted actively from an early stage in 1980's, and the project which activated an area in a destination in a various part of Japan was implemented. For a study to however conscious whether the user in water front be of the waterside space in such waterfront project paper its number is very small. A questionnaire survey was put into effect targeted for 17 points of Japanese typical waterfront project paper completed in about 1990 by this research. With the foundation of this, a member item mean, it was possible to classify development paper of 17 results factor analysis is by 4 kind type of the aquarium type, the natural type, the middle type and the artificial type. And it was possible to classify the motive item conscious of the waterside space by 7 kinds, a view, smell, hearing, sense of touch, the taste, existence of facilities and activity behavior. When seeing the motive item in the center, sight was highest by 57% and about 8%, sense of touch, hearing and olfactory three senses had the lowest taste by 1%. "With aquarium" existence of facilities including etc was about 12 %, and activity behavior including Hitoshi who" can clear a quay" was about 6 %, and it appeared.
