As hotel industry lately recognize that food and drink industry produces more profits than hotel rooms, multi-various and scientific management policies are required along with the management of profitability. Particularly, as hotel services have become more alike due to the development of technology and sharing information, opportunities for differentiation have decreased. Human resource is a significant key for the hotel business as it could lead to a success or failure. It would be overwhelming for employees if they carry all the burdens on their shoulders to impress the customers and improve the service culture in this fast-changing society with different colors of human desire. Therefore, it is essential to focus on developing strategies of efficient organizational as well as human resource management, and the managerial leadership with capability of understanding the organizational structure should play the leading role, considering the specific characteristics of hotel business. The purposes of the study are transformational leadership and transactional leadership comparison analysis of hotel F&B to management strategy.

The size of the global game market, including Korea, is gradually expanding, there are about 80,000 people in the game industry in Korea, and it has maintained a steady increase. As the domestic game has become more influential, games have become a means of helping people to communicate with each other in everyday life. Despite these changes, There is a lack of positive perspectives such as game use and interpersonal interactivity or communication enhancement. Therefore, this study analyzed the correlation of psychological and environmental factors of adolescents, game leadership, and social capital in order to understand the positive effects of games. As a result of research, psychological factors such as social motivation, game efficacy, and game norms have a statistically significant effect on game leadership. Parental supervision has a negative effect on game leadership and a statistically influenced positive effect on social capital. Overprotective parenting has a negative effect on both game leadership and social capital. Finally, game leadership has a statistically influenced positive effect on social capital. This paper is meaningful in that the research on the positive aspect of the game was conducted for the adolescent.

Club activities play an important role for college students in adapting to their college life. This study was therefore undertaken to investigate the effects of club activities on the communication skills and self-leadership of nursing students. Convenience sampling method was applied for 147 students enrolled in the nursing department of university in D city, of which 119 subjects participated in club activities. Data was collected from October 15 to November 30, 2019, and analyzed by applying 𝑥² test, t-test, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis, using the IBM SPSS/WIN 22.0 program. Results: Communication skill and self-leadership were above the middle level. Depending on the club activities, significant differences were obtained for grade (𝑥²=8.07, p=0.045), major satisfaction (𝑥²=8.26, p=0.010), and communication skill and behavior-focused strategies (t=4.48, p=0.036). Factors affecting communication skill were behavior-focused strategies, constructive thought pattern strategies, and activeness amongst club activities. Therefore, the numerous club activity experiences of subjects helped improve the communication skill which, in turn, helps improve self-leadership. Our study indicates the necessity to seek an educational strategy that encourages active club activities of nursing students, for improving the core competencies of professional nurses, encompassing communication skills and self-leadership.

The purpose of this study was to understand the degree of major satisfaction, nursing professional intuition, self leadership, and career preparation behavior of nursing college students, and to identify factors that influence career preparation behavior. Data were collected from 202 nursing college students in B city and analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression using SPSS/WIN 22.0. The degree of career preparation behavior in nursing college students was 3.16±.85. There were significant differences in career preparation behavior with respect to grade(t=-4.86, p<.001), college life satisfaction (F=11.82, p<.001). There was positive correlation between career preparation behavior and major satisfaction (r=.34, p<.001), nursing professional intuition(r=.24, p=.001), and self leadership(r=.54, p<.001). Factors affecting the career preparation behavior of the study subjects were self leadership(β=.491, p<.001), grade(β=.284, p<.001), college life satisfaction(β=.133, p=.039), and the explanatory power was 37.3%. Through this research requires the fellow study to determine the factors affecting career preparation behavior of nursing students.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between leadership life skills, social competence and self-regulation ability of scientifically gifted and regular middle school students. The subjects for this study were 351 middle school students in Busan. The results of this study were as follows: First, scientifically gifted students had higher significant differences in leadership life skills, social competence and self-regulation ability than regular middle school students. Second, there were significant positive correlations between leadership life skills, social competence and self-regulation ability. Third, social competence and self-regulation ability affected leadership life skills. This suggests that social competence and self-regulation ability are important variables to develop and improve leadership life skills of gifted students.

The purpose of this study is to define how middle school students' motivation of participation in Judo as a recreational sport activity influences their exercise flow and psychological happiness. To achieve that, this researcher conducted a questionnaire survey with middle school students who participated in 2020 National Amateur Judo Event held in Donghae-si, Gangwon-do from Jan. 18 to 20, 2020, for three days. Of the collected questionnaire copies, the questionnaire copies with insincere or insufficient answers were excluded, and 253 copies were used for data analysis. The results of the study are presented as follows: Firstly, middle school students' participation motivation in Judo as a recreational sport activity positively influenced their exercise flow. Secondly, participation motivation in Judo as recreational sport activity positively affected psychological happiness. Thirdly, middle school students' exercise flow to Judo as a recreational sport activity positively influenced their psychological happiness. Therefore, instructors for the recreational sport activity need to develop detailed methods or programs to improve students' personality and leadership beyond Judo skills in order to achieve positive and smooth communication with participants.

The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating effect of organizational commitment in the relationship between transformational and transactional leadership and innovative behavior and demonstrate the moderated mediating effect of job satisfaction. To this end, 4,133 cases from the 『2021 Public Servant Life Survey』 conducted to general public servants belonging to central administrative agencies and metropolitan governments by the Korea Institute of Public Administration were used for the analysis, and SPSS 21.0 and Mplus 8.4 programs were used to test the research hypotheses. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that transformational and transactional leadership had a positive effect on organizational commitment and innovative behavior, and organizational commitment had a positive effect on innovative behavior. In addition, it was confirmed to have a significant mediating effect in the relationship between transformational and transactional leadership and innovative behavior. Finally, it was confirmed that the mediating effect of transformational and transactional leadership on innovative behavior through organizational commitment was moderated by the level of job satisfaction, and all the proposed hypotheses were adopted. Based on theses findings, theoretical and practical suggestions and future research suggestions were discussed.

This study aims to examine how individual variables (motivation to participate, leadership life skills, aging awareness), interpersonal variables (relations with subjects, colleagues, and employees), and institutional variables (recognition compensation, institutional education) affect the continuity of volunteer activities. To this end, a survey was conducted on women aged 40 to 64 working at volunteer centers and local volunteer institutions in Seoul for 20 days from August 2, 2019, and a total of 300 questionnaires were distributed and 298 copies were collected, of which 180 were used for the final analysis. For data analysis, frequency analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis were conducted. As a result of the analysis, it was found that leadership life skills and motivation for participation, relationships with colleagues as interpersonal variables, and recognition compensation as institutional variables had a positive effect on the continuity of volunteer activities. This study aims to provide practical and policy suggestions to revitalize and maintain the continuity of volunteer activities of middle-aged women, and basic data for the development of programs to be used in the field of practice.

Rural life improvement programs (RLIPs) have been implemented with a central goal of improving the quality of rural life and promoting rural welfare and cultural life. However, different factors may influence the effect of rural life improvement programs on rural communities or households. This study aimed to investigate the determinants of perceived effects of RLIPs on quality of life of rural women in South Korea. We used a mixed research design to generate data for this study. We collected survey data from 311 rural women who participated in the RLIPs and also conducted a focus group discussion. We analyzed the quantitative data using descriptive statistics and hierarchical regression to identify the variables that predicted effects of RLIPs on quality of life of rural women. Our study finds that age, type of residence in the community, leadership experience, level of education, community satisfaction and community participation influenced respondents' perceived effects of RLIPs. The results imply that the benefits of a development intervention could not be uniformly reaped by residents of a community.

With the rapid increase of multicultural families in South Korea due to international marriages and the influx of foreign workers, the number of children from these families enlisting in the military is also rising. It is projected that by 2030, over 10,000 recruits from multicultural backgrounds will join the military annually. This influx can help mitigate the issue of decreasing military resources due to low birth rates and enhance the cultural diversity within the military. However, the lack of multicultural awareness and the presence of discrimination in the military can hinder the well-being of these multicultural soldiers. This study aims to analyze the multicultural phenomenon in the Korean military and explore development strategies to ensure the stable service and healthy military culture for multicultural soldiers. The theoretical background of multiculturalism and diversity in the military is examined, along with the analysis of multicultural military operations in other countries. Management strategies for multicultural soldiers, including leadership and organizational culture innovation, multicultural education and awareness programs, and the establishment of tailored support systems, are proposed. Furthermore, policy recommendations for enhancing the effectiveness of multicultural policies in the Korean military are presented. Supporting the successful military service of multicultural soldiers will contribute to the enhancement of military combat power and the acceptance of multiculturalism in Korean society.
