  • 이 글에서는 상대측정방법의 예로서 열선 유속계, 절대측정방법의 예로서 레이저 도플러 유속계, 가시화기법에 대한 전반적인 설명을 통하여 난류측정에 대한 이해를 돕고자 한다. 열선유속계와 레이저도플러유속계는 응답특성이 난류측정에 적합한 측정기술로서 입증되어 있지만, 가시화 기법에 의한 난류측정은 3차원 유동장을 동시에 처리할 수 있는 장점에도 불구하고 영상처리에 많은 시간이 필요하므로 아직까지 계속적인 연구가 이루어지고 있다.

  • In order to measure the retina thickness, there are to need the 3-D retina photographing and the high speed signal processing system. In this paper, we introduced the retina photographing system and the 16-channel high speed image data acquisition system. There are able to measure the retina thickness with sensing image the returned laser signal to APD sensor after there were projected the HeNe laser on retina. We developed the laser projection system to sense a reflected image of the retina using APD sensor, the 16-channel high speed A/D converter and PCI master interface card for image transmission into computer.

An Accurate Extrinsic Calibration of Laser Range Finder and Vision Camera Using 3D Edges of Multiple Planes (다중 평면의 3차원 모서리를 이용한 레이저 거리센서 및 카메라의 정밀 보정)

  • For data fusion of laser range finder (LRF) and vision camera, accurate calibration of external parameters which describe relative pose between two sensors is necessary. This paper proposes a new calibration method which can acquires more accurate external parameters between a LRF and a vision camera compared to other existing methods. The main motivation of the proposed method is that any corner data of a known 3D structure which is acquired by the LRF should be projected on a straight line in the camera image. To satisfy such constraint, we propose a 3D geometric model and a numerical solution to minimize the energy function of the model. In addition, we describe the implementation steps of the data acquisition of LRF and camera images which are necessary in accurate calibration results. In the experiment results, it is shown that the performance of the proposed method are better in terms of accuracy compared to other conventional methods.

  • As a part of automatic car parking, this paper have devised the distance measurement algorism using stereo vision system which measure between object and parking lot. In this simulation, laser pointer is used for detecting edge of designated object and real distance is measured by searching the position of laser pointer and measuring the distance. Which are 1 / 1.5 / 2 / 2.5 / 3m and adjusted correction had applied in order for use in car parking system.

  • In this paper, photoacoustic image processing system was constructed by using 2W CW $CO_{2}$ laser of $10.6{\mu}m$ wavelength and PZT 5A acoustic transducer. Stainless steel of 5mm thickness was used as a sample in experiment. Three line cracks of $50{\mu}m$ in each width and depth were made by using plasma on the surface of the sample. Also, each gap among their lines was $200{\mu}m$ and $300{\mu}m$ in width. In the scan range of $2.2mm\times2mm$ including surface defects, a good image of $50{\mu}m$ resolution had been shown when modulation frequency of CW laser was 100Hz.

  • In this paper, we propose a new image processing technique that reliably detects the various defects of TFT-LCD polarizing films. The image of polarizing film is acquisited from reflected laser beam First, we apply the morphological image processing technique to remove the background noise. Next, we use the 2-dimensional LMS adaptive filtering and statistical characteristics to detect the white and black defects. Performance of the proposed method is evaluated on real TFT-LCD polarizing film samples.

  • We propose a 3D modeling method for surface inspection of non-constant velocity moving object. 1'lie laser lines reflect tile surface curvature. We can acquire 3D surface information by analyzing projected laser lines on object. In this paper, we use multi-line laser to improve the single stripe method and high speed of single frame. Binarization and edge extraction of frame image were proposed for robust laser each line extraction. A new labeling method was used for laser line labeling. We acquired some feature points for image matching from the frame data and juxtaposed the frames data to obtain a 3D shape image. We verified the superiority of proposed method by applying it to inspect container's damages.

  • This paper introduces a method that can get information for the movement of a spreader and skew in order to drive ALS(Automatic Landing System) in the crane used at the harbor. Some methods that use 3D laser scanner sensor or laser range finder to obtain the information in ALS are used presently. But these have some defects respectively in economical efficiency and performance. Therefore, to recover these defects, we propose a method acquiring the information for the movement of a spreader and skew using CCD camera for image processing and laser range finder

  • Ladar (Laser Detection And Ranging, Lidar) is a sensor to acquire precise distances to the surfaces of target region using laser signals, which can be suitably applied to ATD (Automatic Target Detection) for guided missiles or aerial vehicles recently. It provides a range image in which each measured distance is expressed as the brightness of the corresponding pixel. Since the precise 3D models can be generated from the Ladar range image, more robust identification and recognition of the targets can be possible. If we simulate the data of Ladar sensor, we can efficiently use this simulator to design and develop Ladar sensors and systems and to develop the data processing algorithm. The purposes of this study are thus to simulate the signals of a Ladar sensor based on linear frequency modulation and to create range images from the simulated Ladar signals. We first simulated the laser signals of a Ladar using FM chirp modulator and then computed the distances from the sensor to a target using the FFT process of the simulated signals. Finally, we created the range image using the distances set.
