Analysis of Creative Content Policy in Korea -Effect of Extrinsic Rewards on Intrinsic Motivation- (국내 창조산업 콘텐츠 진흥정책의 동기구축효과에 관한 연구 -수혜자 만족도를 중심으로-)

  • This study explores the performances of Korean content policies to subsidize creative content industry. This study conducts survey on 402 creative industry employees. Research result shows that the current policy has some effects of extrinsic rewards on intrinsic motivation in subjects' perception of market development. Besides the perception, however, Korean subsidize policy sees to have low performances in general. The findings suggests that the industry subjects are not satisfied with the current policies. It is necessary to reconsider the direction of the contests policy.

  • This study verified the effect of charismatic leadership on motivation to learn and the moderating effect of level of building learning organization in learning organization support project. Survey was conducted for manufacture company participating in learning organization support project. Charismatic Leadership positively affected motivation to learn, specifically vision-related behaviors positively affected task value. At the same time, the moderating effect of level of building learning organization was verified and specifically personal mastery and team learning moderated the effect of charismatic leadership on motivation to learn. This study results provided academic and practical implications for operating successful learning organization of company.

Impact of Adult College Students' Social Support and Service Quality of University Education on Learning Engagement: Focusing on Medium Effect of Learning Motivation (성인대학생의 사회적지지와 대학교육서비스품질이 학습몰입에 미치는 영향: 학습동기의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • This study is prepared to provide fundamental data for constructing learning system to reinforce learning facilitation and improve learning effect for adult college students by testing the medium effect of learning motivation in the relation of social support, service quality of university education, and learning engagement. For this objective, A survey was conducted with 573 adult college students attending 2-to-3-year colleges and universities located in Daegu metropolitan City and Gyeongsangbuk-do. The analyzed research results are as follows. First, learning motivation had partial medium effect in the relation of social support and learning engagement. Second, learning motivation seemed to have complete medium effect in the relation of service quality of university education and learning engagement. The above research results suggest that continuous development and efforts are needed to establish various support systems and improve educational services in order to increase adult college students' immersion in learning.

  • 본 논문에서는 서로 다른 곳에 구축되어 있는 이기종 가상환경을 네트워크로 연동하고 이러한 환경에서 3D 게임을 지원하기 위한 시스템 설계 및 구현 결과를 제시한다. 각각의 가상환경은 수평-수직-정방형 디스플레이 장비 및 마그네틱-하이브리드 방식의 트랙킹 장비를 이용하여 구축되었다. 제안 시스템에서는 서로 다른 형태의 디스플레이, 트래킹 및 인터랙션 도구로 이루어진 개별 가상환경을 연동함으로써 발생하는 데이터 간의 이질성을 해결하기 위한 뷰 동기화, 인터랙션 동기화 기법 및 사용자 인식 모듈을 제공한다. 또한 별도의 컨트롤 서버를 구축하여 개별 노드간의 동기화를 제공하고 공유 데이터를 효과적으로 관리할 수 있도록 하였다. 개발된 환경 및 시스템에서 "Alice in Virtual World" 라는 1 인칭 슈팅 게임을 수행하여 그 활용 가능성을 입증하였다.

Motivation Crowding Performances of Independent TV Production Programing Quotas (방송 외주정책의 제작인력 동기구축 성과)

  • During the last 25 years, independent TV production programing quota policy has been actively evaluated in various aspects except in the field of production personnel. This study focuses on production personnel who has been neglected among the debate of independent TV production programing policy. Especially, this study tries to explore the effect that the policy has brought to production personnel's motivation. After in-depth interviews with 4 professionals and 6 media major senior college students, this study finds that both broadcasting and independent company professionals evaluated the policy performance in negative way. They insist the policy constricts their motivation for production. College students agreed they become unwilling to entering the production filed. The policy should be reconsidered and turn to positive incentives and rewards to motivate production personnel.

A Study on the Relationship between Motivation and Community Satisfaction of Audience for Non-profit Performing Arts (지역사회 비영리 공연 관람객의 관람동기와 지역사회만족도 간의 관계)

  • The main purpose of this study is to examine the mediating effects of performance satisfaction and audience loyalty through the motivation and community satisfaction of non-profit performance attendees in the local community. Motivations were examined by distinguishing between intrinsic and extrinsic factors to understand the profound desires of the audience. A survey was conducted targeting attendees who had experienced non-profit performances in the Jeju area over the past year to gather data. Ultimately, the survey responses from 363 participants were used as the basis for analysis. The results of the analysis indicated that higher levels of intrinsic and extrinsic motivations generally led to greater satisfaction and loyalty towards performances (H1, H2, H3). However, extrinsic motivation did not directly influence loyalty (H4). Nevertheless, both types of motivations were found to positively influence loyalty through performance satisfaction (H5, H8). While satisfaction with performances did not have a direct impact on community satisfaction (H6), audience loyalty was found to have a positive influence on community satisfaction (H7). Regarding motivations, performance satisfaction did not mediate the relationship between motivations and community satisfaction (H9). In the case of audience loyalty, intrinsic motivation showed mediating effects, while extrinsic motivation did not (H10). The process of motivation-satisfaction-loyalty-community satisfaction demonstrated a sequential pathway (H11). In conclusion, if local residents show interest and participate in non-profit performances, they develop a positive perception of the respective community. Therefore, performances provided at the local level should be recognized as crucial elements for the development of the community.

  • 모바일 디바이스의 급속한 보급과 사용자층의 증가는 보다 효율적인 정보의 활용능력이 요구된다. 이러한 정보의 활용능력을 증가시키는 방법으로 기준의 웹정보에 대한 모바일 디바이스 활용방법을 들 수 있다. 모바일 디바이스에 대한 기존의 정보 구축방법은 모바일 디바이스 환경에 맞는 정보를 새롭게 구축하고 서비스하는 형태로 진행되었다. 그러나 이러한 방법은 모바일 환경에 적합하도록 정보를 변환하는데 많은 시간과 노력이 필요하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 기존 웹정보를 효율적으로 모바일 디바이스 환경에 활용할 수 있는 방법을 제시한다. 이러한 방법은 웹 정보의 자동 변환과 데이터 동기화를 통해 이루어 질 수 있다. 이를 통하여 정보의 재구축비용을 줄일 수 있고 모바일 디바이스를 이용한 정보활용이 향상되는 효과를 가져온다.

An Implementation of Test Bed for Linux based IEEE 1394 communication test (리눅스 기반의 IEEE1394 통신 시험을 위한 시험 환경 구축)

  • IEEE1394 standard supports both isochronous and asynchronous data transmission, thus enabling high-speed data exchange between PC and networked home electronic devices. This paper describes an implementation of Test Bed for Linux based IEEE1394 communication test. In this paper, An integrated Software was developed to test IEEE1394 communication environment. To develop the software, open source software(gscanbus,dvgrab, playdv, Xine, Kino) for the Linux environment was investigated and integrated. It was tested such as the communication among the devices, asynchronous date transmission, isochronous data transmission, and its result was successful. This integrated software has the potential to become efficient test tool for the futher development of networked home electronic devices and multimedia services.

  • 본 논문에서는 무선 인터넷에 관한 관련 기술을 이용하여 분산 데이터 동기화 표준인 SyncML을 통해 무선 인터터넷 환경에서의 실제적으로 응용 가능한 영업 사원의 업무 자동화 (SPA : Sails Force Automation) 솔루션을 무선디바이스인 PHOPNE 과 PDA 에서 운영할 수 있는 최적 동기화 모듈의 설계와 구현에 목적이 있다. 본고에서는 무선 인터넷 기술, 동기화 기술, 영업사원의 업무 자동화 기술에 언급하고 세 가지 기술을 이용하여 실질적으로 물류, 유통 업무에 사용 할 수 있게 객체 지향 설계 방법과 소스를 분석하여 최적화된 시스템을 도출하고 그것을 통해 무선단에서 경량화된 동기화 최적의 시스템을 설계, 구현하였다. 무선단에서 여러 제약 사항 특히 데이터의 관리에 있어서의 문제점을 동기화 기술을 통해 많은 데이터를 효과적으로 관리함으로써 대용량의 데이터베이스와 디바이스에 상관없이 분산 데이터 일관성과 통합관리 기능을 유지하고 무선단에서 지연성(disconnection)에 대한 신뢰성을 유지 할 수 있는 시스템을 분석과 설계를 통해 객체지향적인 방법으로 고려해서 시스템을 구축하였다.

Development of an Item Based Learning System Using E-mail (전자우편을 활용한 문항 기반 학습 시스템 개발)

  • This paper proposes an item based learning system using e-mail in order to motivate learners effectively and avoid the bottleneck problem under highly competitive access situations such as the traditional web based learning. The proposed system has th ree features as follows: first, through e-mail, a learner receives test items depending on his/her level, submit an answer sheet, and then identify an assessment with help messages. Secondly, on the web, an instructor easily constructs item database without any other tools and monitors the status of each learner by identifying the learners' record. Finally, an easy-to-use interaction mechanism enhances the inter-activity between learners and instructors, and the usability of Q&A(Question and Answer) service by incorporating e-mail into the web bulletin board.
