Risk Evaluation of a Road Slope on Hazard Using 3D Scanner (사면재해 평가의 3차원 스캐닝 기법적용)

  • Recently, slope failures are disastrous when they occur in mountainous area adjoining highways. The accidents associated with Slope failures have increased due to rapid urbanization of mountainous area. Therefore, the inspection of slope is conducted to maintain road safety as well as road function. In this study, we apply to the remedy which is comparing existent description to advanced technology using GIS. we utilize a 3D scanner, one of the advanced method, to generate precise and complete road slope model from expert point of view. In result, we are transferred practical data from external slope stability to hazard slope information. We suggest not only the database but also the method of road risk evaluation based on GIS.

The accidents associated with slope failures have increased due to rapid urbanization of mountainous area. Therefore, the inspection of slope is conducted to maintain road safety as well as road function. In this study, we apply to the remedy which is comparing existent description to advanced technology using GIS. We utilize a Terrestrial LiDAR, one of the advanced method, to generate precise and complete road slope model from expert point of view. In result, we extract hazardous slope information from external measurements referring to the evaluation criteria of external slope stability. We suggest not only the database but also the method of road risk evaluation based on internet GIS.

  • The failure of the road cut-slope due to heavy rains brings about lots of injuries and damage on national properties. KICT has developed CSMS system by means of prevention to manage the dangerous cut slopes. In spite of the continuous management the frequency of cut-slopes failure is increasing the past due to changes of earth-environment. KICT has installed the "Real-Time Monitoring System" on dangerous slopes. The operation of Real-Time Monitoring System is used as a positive system to reduce injuries and damages. However, Although the slope manager is aware of the signs collapsed in advance, it has temporal and spatial limits until the slope manager performs the works which are preventing the accidents. When real time monitoring system finds out an indication of slope collapse, the Rock-fall Signal Lamp System makes road-users indicated the risk of cut slopes. It is a kind of prevention system that it will minimize the damages of the properties as suspension of traffic automatically or passively.

Current Survey Method of The Road Cutting Slope Area Using Ntrip Service (NTRIP 서비스를 이용한 도로절토사면 현황조사방법)

  • With recent localized heavy rain, the collapsing accident of the cut slopes occur repeatedly every year. The maintenance of the cut slopes is very crucial as the collapsing of cut slopes causes various calamities such as human causalities and sweeping away of the roads. By looking at the study of current situation of the cut slopes, designed for maintenance of cut slopes, the locations of the damaged districts are hard to figure out as they are represented through distance mark and longitude and latitude. In this paper has used NDGPS methods and VRS service through GPS signal corrections that are received by DGPS standard department to correctly analyze the exact location and the shape of the slope. The result of this analysis shows that both methods produce similar shape of the slope. Therefore, these two methods, NDGPS methods and VRS service, can be applied to other analysis of cut slopes in different areas.

  • 산지유역의 지표 환경이 급격히 교란된 지역에서 집중 호우가 발생하면, 과대한 토사유출로 인해 하천유역 홍수 재해요인으로 작용할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 산불발생지역, 벌목지역, 도로공사지역과 같이 산지환경이 급변한 지역을 토사유출 시험유역으로 운영하였다. 세 개의 시험유역 중에 지표교란이 심각한 도로공사시험유역에서 강우유출 및 토사유출이 가장 크게 발생하였다. 그림 1은 각 시험유역별 강우강도에 따른 첨두유량 관계를 나타낸 것이다. 또한 산불 후 10년이 경과된 급경사 산불시험유역이 벌목시험유역보다 유출 및 토사유출량이 많았다. 벌목시험유역은 벌목이후 잔류물과 빠른 식생회복으로 지표상태가 빠르게 안정화되어 유출 및 토사유출량이 적게 발생하였다. 도로공사 시험유역 나지사면에서 시행된 사면처리 공법 시공 전 후로 토사유출량의 변화가 현저히 크며(그림 2), 이는 공사를 진행하는 중에 적절한 사면관리 처리를 통한 토사유출량 저감이 필요하다는 것을 나타낸다.

An Analysis for Engineering-Geological Factors on the SL-2 Rock Slope along New Road at Hapcheon-Gun, Gyeongsangnam-Do (경상남도 합천군 신설도로의 SL-2 암반사면에 대한 지질공학적 고찰)

  • The road slope at Hapcheon-Gun, Gyeongsangnam-Do is under construction, but actual rock quality & discontinuities on the cut slope are something different from the primary design. Therefore, object of this study is to analyze whole engineering-geological characteristics for this slope through site investigation and laboratory analyses because small scale landslides have been occurred during this road construction. For this object, various analyses were performed such as surveying, Schimidt Hammer test, discontinuity investigation and laboratory analysis using DIPS far evaluating slope stability. As the result, it is identified that reinforcement work is needed because plane, toppling & wedge failures will be possibly occurred and seepages are concentrated at several points.

  • 우리나라는 전 국토의 70%가 산지로 구성되어 있어 도로준설 시 절토사면이 필연적으로 발생한다. 그러므로 사면의 안정성확보를 통해 인명피해와 경제적 손실을 막기 위해 보호 및 보강공을 실시하게 된다. 표면보호공법은 절토사면이 조사시점을 기준으로 안전율을 확보하고 있으나, 향후 우수나 풍화진행 등으로 안전율의 감소 방지와 예상치 못한 낙석 등에 대처하기 위한 공법이다. 그러나 식생공, 숏크리트 등의 표면보호공법 시공시 경사방향에 따른 일조량의 차이로 인해 구조물들의 변형 및 유지관리상의 문제점을 야기하고 있다. 식생공의 경우 사면방향이 북향일 경우 일조량의 부족으로 식생들이 정착을 하지 못하게 되고, 이때 사면은 표면보호기능이 상실되어 우수나 풍화진행 등으로 안전율이 감소하게 된다. 숏크리트의 경우는 남향의 사면에서 주간에 일조량이 과할 경우 열에 의해 팽창되고 주?야간 팽창 수축을 반복하여 대류열차에 의한 균열이 발생하게 된다. 이때 숏크리트가 파손되어 도로로 유입시 교통안전에 위협을 가하기도 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 사면방향에 따른 표면보호공법 선정시 문제점을 논의해 보고 그 방안을 모색하고자 한다.
