A Curriculum Development for Effective IT Manpower Nurturing (효율적인 IT 인력양성을 위한 교과과정 개발)

  • In this paper, a example of a curriculum development for effective IT manpower nurturing is proposed. The developed curriculum and tracks of main educational fields are shown. The curriculum is developed to provide systematic and practical If education, and give more satisfaction and achievement to students according to variations of educational and industrial environment.

  • 대학수학능력시험이나 학업성취도평가와 같은 중요한 시험은 다단계의 복잡한 과정을 거쳐 채점되며, 대규모의 인적 물적 자원이 투입된다. 컴퓨터 시스템을 활용하여 채점 과정에 소모되는 자원을 절감하고 정확성을 향상시키는 등 채점 효율의 향상을 목표로 하는 연구가 진행 중에 있다. 하지만 채점하려는 문항에 대한 정보 없이 시스템이 자동으로 정 오답을 판단하는 것은 불가능하며, 채점자가 문항에 대한 정보를 일정한 형식으로 가공하여 시스템에 제공하여야 한다. 본 논문은 채점하려는 학생 답안을 정보로 이용하여 시스템이 인지할 수 있는 정답 템플릿 형식으로 구축하는 방법을 소개한다. 또한 소개한 방법으로 작성된 정답 템플릿을 이용하여 자동 채점을 수행하였을 때의 채점 결과 및 통계 자료를 수록하였다.

  • In recent years, space planning ability using 3D sketch software is required in the working field of interior design. However, vocational high school do not respond appropriately to changes in the industry, because the class of vocational high school consists of hands-on practical classes and 2D CAD based classes. There is a shortage of 3D sketch software-based instruction programs that can improve students' spatial planning skills. Therefore, this study is to develop instruction program using 3D sketch software for 'Planning for Residential Space' unit of NCS-based on interior design subject and to find out the effect on students' academic achievement by applying to vocational high school class. The 3d sketch software based instructional program developed in this study was developed through four stages of preparation, development, implementation and evaluation according to the PDIE model process. The experimental design model used nonequivalent group posttest-only design in this study. Experiments were conducted on vocational high school students in construction and 9 hours of interior design subjects were applied. After the experiments, students were tested for academic achievement in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor areas. As a result, the instruction program using the 3d sketch program developed in this study was found to be more effective in improving students' academic achievement than existing manual instruction program in both cognitive, affective, and psychomotor areas.

Effects of Physical Living Environment on the Social Interaction and Perceived Sense of Community among Students in University Dormitory (대학기숙사 물리적 주거공간환경이 기숙사 거주학생들간 인지된 공동체의식 및 사회적 교류에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • College students living in university dormitory continuously experience unique physical and social living conditions, being away from their hometown and loving families. Most college students has engaged in a very limited social activities in dormitory area. Studies have shown that sense of community(SOC) is closely related to students' social activities. However, few research have examined the relationship between physical environment and sense of community. Therefore, this research aims to evaluate the effects of physical environment of dormitory on students' perceived sense of community and their social interaction. Extensive literature review found that developing social interaction and building a sense of student community improve students' overall residential satisfaction with dormitory and personal academic growth. Survey on A university dormitory and Chi square analysis (${\chi}^2$) indicated that each group's individual characteristics such as gender, grade, living period, and personality were statistically significant on the level of SOC at the level of p=.01. Individual analysis of SOC showed that sense of belonging was higher than shared emotional connection, which means certain level of intervention is needed. Pearson correlation analysis validated that there exists statistically significant relationship between physical environment and SOC. Further it also found that the most important predictor in facilitating social interaction were comfortable, quiet, and enough social space around the dormitory.

A Narrative Study within the Experiences of University Students Who were Placed Under Academic Probation (학사경고를 받은 대학생에 대한 내러티브 연구적 접근)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the lived experiences of university students who were placed under academic probation. A qualitative research design was used to understand the experiences of students. The data were collected using individual in-depth interviews with 4 students who had experiences of low academic achievements at least once during 5 semesters. Low self esteem was the main issue in this study and inner struggles were identified within 4 themes: Outstanding students controlled by helpers; A costume play as a outstanding student; Realize that I am a under academic achiever; Realize who I am and what I have to do. This study identified that low academic achievement brings to low self esteem seriously, however, human being has strong resilience in the traumatic circumstances. Thus, it is absolutely necessary devoting efforts to develop suitable student supporting programs in the way of inner and outer network systems.

Satisfaction with Online Classes of Nursing Students: Focused on Nursing Theoretical Courses

  • In this paper, I propose the level of satisfaction with online classes of nursing students and its influencing factors. The participants was 175 nursing students who had enrolled in H university located at Chungcheongbuk-do. The data was collected using a questionnaire which consisted of satisfaction with online classes, learner's efforts, instructor's efforts, interpersonal interaction, and university's supports. The mean score for satisfaction with online classes(scores ranged form 1 to 5) was 3.99. The influencing factors of satisfaction with online classes were intention of using online(p<.001), academic achievement(p=.003), instructor's effort(p=.038), and evaluation of class and management(p=.044), and its explanatory power was 50.2%. The most important things to improve online learning were instructor in problem of operation and server capacity and sound in problem of techniques. Based on the theses results, in order to increase satisfaction with online classes, it is needed to develop strategies to improve intention of using online and academic achievement. Also, instructor's efforts and university's active supports were considered to increase satisfaction with online classes among nursing students.

Exploring the Effect of Cognitive Presence on Flow According to the Level of Interest (흥미수준에 따른 인지적 실재감이 몰입에 미치는 영향 탐색)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the effect of cognitive Presence on Flow according to the level of interest among the most important factors that have an effect on academic achievement. This study targeted 162 people who took the teaching course of B University. For the study, data were collected through a survey on the level of interest, cognitive Presence, and Flow. In order to verify how cognitive presence affects flow according to the level of interest, multiple regression analysis was performed by dividing the collected data into low and high groups based on the average of the level of interest. As a result, the level of learning management of cognitive presence was .071 in the high level of interest, and the level of learning management was .143 in the low group of interest level. As a result of this, the effect of the level of learning management of cognitive presence on flow according to the level of interest was confirmed. Through the results of this study, a instructional design strategy that can be flow was suggested through supporting cognitive presence according to the level of interest.

Educational Utilization of Smart Devices in the Convergence Education Era (융복합 교육 시대에 스마트기기의 교육적 활용방안)

  • Entering the convergence education era, the emergence of smart devices removed the constraint of time and space for study, so if we use smart devices appropriately for education, it will strengthen students' abilities and cultivate creative human resource. Therefore the current study analyzed the general application condition of the smart devices through surveys targeted to students and proposed a measure in applying the smart device as an educational information. In relation to information application, a test was proceeded after carrying out education targeted to experiment group students by naming the group information search, communication, cooperation, sharing, report generation, data storage, online assessment and project management activity. Through the test and survey analysis, it was discovered that the experiment group students displayed higher self-efficacy and ability in applying the smart device as information compared to the control group.

Predictors of Regional Small and Medium Hospitals Choice among Nursing Students (간호대학생의 지역 중소병원 선택 예측요인)

  • This study was conducted to identify the predictors of the choice of regional small and medium hospitals by identifying the job preference, recognition of small and medium hospitals. For this purpose, data were collected from September 2018 to October 2018 for nursing students attending 4 universities in Gwangju and Jeollanam - do, and total of 476 questionnaires were analyzed using the SPSS / WIN 24.0 program. The results showed that 66.0% of nursing students selected region local small and medium hospitals. The factors influencing the choice of region small and medium hospitals were high school region, nursing school performance and recognition of small and medium hospitals. In order to increase the employment rate of nursing students to the region small and medium hospitals, nursing educators should provide personalized career guidance to students who want to work in small and medium hospitals and hospital personnel should establish various public relations activities and marketing strategies to raise recognition of small and medium hospitals.

LMS-based Edutech Teaching and Learning Platform Model Design Study (LMS 기반 에듀테크 교수학습 플랫폼 모형 설계 연구)

  • Purpose: This is a study to design an optimal Edutech teaching-learning platform model that can be linked with various types of LMS to activate e-learning. Methods: For this purpose, the contents of e-learning systems that can be used in the 4th industrial technology of cyber universities and general universities were cross-sectionally analyzed. Results: Cyber universities relied entirely on LMS, and general universities supplemented and utilized different Edutech methods for each professor such as Google Classroom, Zoom video communication, and YouTube in addition to LMS. It was considered that it would be meaningful to provide a minimal algorithm mapping to LMS to share metadata such as Google and YouTube for the Edutech teaching and learning platform model. Conclusion: Therefore, this study is expected to contribute to the improvement of teaching methods and academic achievement through the LMS-based Edutech teaching and learning platform model.
