The Creative Regeneration and Daily Life on Urban Park - The Case of JeonpoDolsan Park in Busan - (도시 소공원의 창조적 재생과 일상 - 부산 전포돌산공원을 중심으로 -)

  • The aim of this research is to investigate the various activities of residents conducted at the regenerated Park as well as conflicts and participations of residents that appeared in the regenerative process of the Park in urban low-income group settlement where public spaces for the community are absolutely insufficient, focusing on the Jeonpo-Dolsan Park. Moreover, this research examines the influences of the newly regenerated Park on the daily lives of residents and the meanings and roles of the Park to the residents. The Park not only provided the functions of a general parks but also served the role as the space for the culture, participation, discussion and assembly. Also dirty and uncleaned landscapes was improved because of the regeneration of Park. It was confirmed that the Park contributed to elevating the life quality of residents in urban low-income group settlement by forming an open-minded village, constructing public space for the community and communicating with discontinued neighboring villages. The Park' regeneration was produced not by executing the unilateral redevelopment policy of the administration for the urban low-income group settlement but by inducing the participation of the village residents. Owing to this, the creative regeneration of the Park aroused a motive for place attachment and sense of belonging, expanded public morals and prepared the opportunity to change as a hopeful space in awareness.

Augmentation and Monitoring of an Endangered Fish, Gobiobotia naktongensis in Naeseongcheon Stream, Korea (내성천에서 멸종위기어류 흰수마자 Gobiobotia naktongensis의 증강도입과 모니터링)

  • The conservation project to protect an endangered fish, Gobiobotia naktongensis was executed against declining the gene diversity of the fish after the construction of Youngju Dam in a sand-bed stream (Naeseongcheon Stream). We tried to move the populations of G. naktongensis from submerged planned sites to alternative habitats, bred artificially and augmented the juveniles to optimal habitat, and monitored the results of the restoration implementation. No entity of G. naktongensis was confirmed at the planned submerged sites despite attempting to capture more than 8 times and eventually the movement to alternative habitat could not be implemented. About 40 individuals of G. naktongensis were captured in the Naeseongcheon Stream and a total of 5,000 individuals were artificially spawned up. The population of juvenile inherited the genetic diversity from the brood stock. The bred juveniles were discharged at the selected optimal site that had a habit condition what was similar to their natural habitat. The micro-dispersion around the discharging area was found at the early stages of the augmentation. The re-capturing rate of discharged juveniles was reduced as time passed. The discharged juveniles seemed to adapt to the natural environment of Naeseongcheon Stream. The observation of their high abdominal distension and excrement demonstrated that the juveniles fed successfully in the discharging area. Therefore, securement of genetic homogeneity and enhancement of restoration population of G. naktongensis in upstream and downstream of Youngju Dam site from the artificial seed producing seemed to be primarily successful and long-term monitoring and analysis of the effect was expected to be necessary.

  • This research, to find the cultural identity of taekwondo, presents the historical origin of taekwondo in lights of Choi-centric theory, kwan-centric theory, karate inflow theory, and successive traditional martial arts theory. Then it investigates taekwondo's inner identity as a Korean traditional martial art according to presence, popularity, and independence, three factors of identity suggested by Tak, S. S.(2000).As a result, it reached these conclusions: First, taekwondo was formed after going through fusion of Hong Hi Choi, karate income in period of cultural severance during Japanese occupation, the first kwan leaders and Korean traditional martial arts, process of disorder and cultural reproduction. Second, taekwondo has essentially inherited and developed Korean barehanded martial arts' movements that lay stress on foot skills, and this distinguishes it from hand-skill-based Japan's karate and China's Wushu Furthermore, trunk/groin protectors and headgears are blended remarkably with taeguk patterns and traditional Colors of Five Directions. All terms rendered into pure Korean words shows the essence of Korean localization. It is therefore concluded that Koreans should, along with trying to overcome exclusive nationalism as a country of origin, build a new paradigm of establishing an identity as a global martial art sport.

The Innovation System of the Korean Motion Picture Sector (한국 영화산업의 기술혁신체제 분석)

  • Since the introduction of motion picture in the early 20th century, Korean motion picture industry has gradually evolved as one of the world leaders. However, due to the rapid technological change as exemplified by the emergence of the new digital and 3D cinema technologies, there is a need to re-consider the existing technology policy and strategy designed for the adoption and effective use of new technologies. In this paper, the authors address this issue by emphasizing the technological development side rather than the use/adoption side. In order to provide policy makers with critical information on the current status of the sector, we analyzed the sectoral innovation system of the Korean motion picture industry. In order to conduct this analysis, we re-visited previous literature and interviewed experts in the motion picture sector. Then, the authors attempted to identify the characteristics and problems of the current Korean motion picture industry. Based on the insights gained from this research, we draw policy implications for technological innovation in this sector. However, the implications from this paper are not limited to the motion picture industry. As the motion picture industry is a new case for innovation studies, our paper may provide new research opportunities to the academia.

A Study on User Acceptance Model of uTradeHub Service Based on Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (통합기술수용이론(UTAUT) 기반 uTradeHub 서비스의 사용자 수용모형에 관한 연구)

  • This study examines whether the variables used in the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology(performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions) is applicable to continuous usage of uTradeHub at a time of expansion in the use of uTradeHub. In addition, the role of user satisfaction(mediating effect) and CEO support(interaction effect) in the relationship is identified attempting to provide basic data to help uTradeHub management strategy establishment. A total of 101 valid responses collected through questionnaires were used for empirical analysis(using SPSS 24.0), and the results are as follows. First, for the effect of the integration technology acceptance factor on user satisfaction(H1), only performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and social influence were significant, but facilitating conditions was not significant. Second, for the effect of user satisfaction on the continued use of uTradeHub(H2), there was a significant result. Third, the mediation effect on verification of user satisfaction(H3) was full where performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and social influence prompted continuous usage through user satisfaction. Fourth, for interactive effect verification of CEO support(H4), an interaction effect was shown only in the influence relationship of performance expectancy and social influence on user satisfaction.

  • The establishment of big data service environment requires both cloud-based network technology and clustering technology to improve the efficiency of information access. These cloud-based networks and clustering environments can provide variety of valuable information in real-time, which can be an intensive target of attackers attempting illegal access. In particular, attackers attempting IP spoofing can analyze information of mutual trust hosts constituting clustering, and attempt to attack directly to system existing in the cluster. Therefore, it is necessary to detect and respond to illegal attacks quickly, and it is demanded that the security policy is stronger than the security system that is constructed and operated in the existing single system. In this paper, we investigate routing pattern changes and use them as detection information to enable active correspondence and efficient information service in illegal attacks at this network environment. In addition, through the step-by -step encryption based on the routing information generated during the detection process, it is possible to manage the stable service information without frequent disconnection of the information service for resetting.

인터넷 기반 원스톱서비스 시스템 개발에 관한 연구+ -수출컨테이너화물 원스톱서비스 시스템 개발-

  • 오늘날 우리 나라가 당면한 최우선 경제과제중 하나는 물류부분의 혁신을 통한 국가경쟁력 강화라고 할 수 있으며, 이를 위해 정부도 1993년 물류체계 개선을 위한 장기구상으로 ‘화물유통체계 개선 10개년 기본계획’을 수립하여 적극 추진 중에 있다. 그러나 이러한 노력에도 불구하고 PORT-MIS사용자를 상대로 한 설문조사에서는 선박입출항 업무 관련 서류의 40%, 항만시설 사용 업무와 관련된 서류의 31%, 하역업무 관련 서류의 10%만이 EDI를 활용하고 있었다. EDI 활용이 저조한 사유로는 전송시간이 많이 걸리며, EDI 소프트웨어가 작동되지 않으며, 수신확인이 되지 않기 때문이라 응답을 하였다. 이처럼 오늘날 항만물류산업이 겪고 있는 물류 데이터 흐름이 단절적 현상은 시간이 흐를수록 해결 될 기미가 보이고 있지 않다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 우리 나라가 겪고 있는 물류관련 업무를 한번의 데이터 입력으로 해결할 수 있는 원스톱 서비스 시스템개발을 목표로 우선 PORT-MIS EDI 업무를 처리할 수 있는 시스템을 구축하였다. 이는 향후 화주, 운송사, 선사, 포워더, 창고업자,하역회사, 철도청, 화물터미널, 컨테이너 터미널, 해양수산청, 관세청, 출입국관리사무소, 검역소 사이에 서로 교환되는 적하목록, Booking List, 컨테이너 Pick up정보, 위험물 정보, COPINO 정보를 비롯하여 대 관세청 신고 등 수출컨테이너 화물업무의 전반적인 영역으로까지 쉽게 확대할 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구결과 구축된 시스템은 원천정보를 중앙의 통합데이터베이스에 저장하여 이를 사용자의 요구에 의해 인터넷을 통해 전달하는 FTP와 웹 EDI 방식을 결합한 하이브리드 형태이다.CS Cell 방식에 의한 위치결정방식을 채택하였는데, 이것은 PCS망을 기반으로 데이터를 주고받이며 인터넷 단말기로 확장 가능한 PCS 단말기를 사용해서 위치추적을 하는 시스템이다. 이러한 시스템을 선정하게된 배경은 단말기아 망 이용료의 가격이 저렴하여 현실적으로 트럭이 쉽게 부착할 수 있다는 장점이 있으며 나아가 인터넷 단말기를 활용하여 차량과 관제센터사이에 메시지 전송 등 부가적인 서비스가 가능하기 때문이다.비교한 결과 토사 유출 억제효과는 한지형과 나지형잔디들의 혼합형(MixtureIII)과 자생처리구(MixtureV), Italian ryegrass와 자생식물의 혼합형(MixtureIV)등에서 비교적 낮은 수치를 토사유출량을 기록하였다. 이러한 결과는 자생식물들이 비록 초기생육속도는 외래도입초종에 떨어지지만 토사유출의 억제효과면에서는 이들 외래초종에 필적할 수 있음을 나타낸다고 할 수 있겠다.중량이 약 115kg/$m^2$정도로 나타났다.소 들(환경의 의미, 사람의 목적과 지식)보다 미학적 경험에 주는 영향이 큰 것으로 나타났으며, 모든 사람들에게 비슷한 미학적 경험을 발생시키는 것 이 밝혀졌다. 다시 말하면 모든 사람들은 그들의 문화적인 국적과 사회적 인 직업의 차이, 목적의 차이, 또한 환경의 의미의 차이에 상관없이 아름다 운 경관(High-beauty landscape)을 주거지나 나들이 장소로서 선호했으며, 아름답다고 평가했다. 반면에, 사람들이 갖고 있는 문화의 차이, 직업의 차 이, 목적의 차이, 그리고 환경의 의미의 차이에 따라 경관의 미학적 평가가 달라진 것으로 나타났다.corner$적 의도에 의한 경관구성의 일면을 확인

Improvement study of river-crossing structures in geyongnam prefecture (경남의 지방하천에 설치된 하천횡단구조물의 현황과 개선방안)

  • The study area is local river of 671 (total length 3,741 km) in Gyeongnam prefecture, the results are as follows. Total number of river-crossing structures was investigated as 7,730, and it was found that structures were installed in 2.1 sites per 1 km (river length) on average. Diversion weirs for agriculture were 4006 (51.82%) and drop structures for channel bed maintenance were 3670 (47.48%), but the rest (riverbed road etc.) were 54 (0.70%). The number of high structures (height > 1.0 m) that affect many impact in upstream and downstream was investigated as 3,897 (51%), and the number of low structures (height < 0.5 m) that affect negligibly was 1109 (14%). Fish ladders have been installed on 640 (8%) structures in 153 (23%) rivers. In flood control and environment conservation, river-crossing structures brought about various impact that flood water level is raises and the eco-corridor is intercept. In order to improve these problems, we proposed a few engineering measures that can be realize with respect to river-crossing structures.

Supplementation of the Indoor Location Tracking Techniques Based-on Load-Cells Mechanism (로드셀 기반의 실내 위치추적 보완 기법)

  • Current indoor intrusion detection and location tracking methods have the weakness in seamless operations in tracking the objective because the object must possess a communicating device and the limitation of the single cell size (approximate $100cm{\times}100cm$) exits. Also, the utilization of CCTV technologies show the shortcomings in tracking when the object disappear the area where the CCTV is not installed or illumination is not enough for capturing the scene (e.g. where the context-awarded system is not installed or low illumination presents). Therefore, in this paper we present an improved in-door tracking system based on sensor networks. Such system is built on a simulated scenario and enables us to detect and extend the area of surveillance as well as actively responding the emergency situation. Through simulated studies, we have demonstrated that the proposed system is capable of supplementing the shortcomings of signal cutting, and of estimating the location of the moving object. We expect the study will improve the better analysis of the intruder behavior, the more effective prevention and flexible response to various emergency situations.

Migration Patterns of Brachymystax lenok tsinlingensis Using Radio Tags in the Upper Part of the Nakdong River (Radio tag을 이용한 낙동강 상류에 서식하는 열목어의 이동양상)

  • The telemetry of eight adult manchurian trouts (Brachymystax lenok tsinlingensis) in the upper part of the Nakdong River, which is the southern limit of distribution of manchurian trout on the Korean peninsula, was used to examine migration patterns and evaluate characteristics of over-wintering and the spawning season between December, 2007 and May, 2008. Based on the tracking data, the tagged fish showed a limited migration between adjacent pools, moving only up to $8.6m\;day^{-1}$ during the winter season (December to February). Hydraulic conditions of over-wintering pool areas were, ca. 1m depth, slow moving surface water with areas of sand and gravel. The migration of tagged individuals was successful, moving up to $96.2m\;day^{-1}$ during the spawning season. Two tagged individuals (BL4, BL6) exhibited upstream migration, whereas others showed downstream movements. The timing of upstream migration of the two individuals was consistent with an increasing phases of water level and discharge. The fishes migrating toward the down stream moved to the wide pool areas downstream, where they spent the summer season for the growth.
