Relationship between Core Job Characteristics and Attitude of Small Business Employees (소상공인의 핵심직무특성과 태도의 관계)

  • For certify job characteristic affecting attitude of employee, this study is to examine the relationship between core job characteristics(skill variety, task identity, task significance, autonomy, feedback) and attitude(job satisfaction, organizational commitment, turnover intention) of small business from a 'human resource management' point of view. Concretely, it is confirmed whether how influence of ore job characteristics on attitude and whether there is a moderating effect of growth needs of strength between core job characteristics and attitude of small business. The results of regression analysis using 315 domestic employees are as followings. First, it is confirmed that the skill variety and task significance has influence on job satisfaction positively, skill variety and feedback has influence on organizational commitment positively, and skill variety and feedback has influence on turnover intention negatively. Second, there is moderating effect only the relationship between task significance and turnover intention. On the basis of these study results, it suggested strategic implications to job design and business strategy for heightening attitude of small business employees.

A study on the Effect of Superior Leadership and Emotional Support of Co-workers on Task Performance through Performance Evaluation Fairness and Self-Efficacy (상사 리더십과 동료의 정서적 지원이 성과평가 공정성과 자기효능감을 통하여 과업 성과에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • This study tried to examine the relationship between superior leadership and emotional support from co-workers on task performance through performance evaluation fairness and self-efficacy in order to find factors that affect the task performance of a company in an uncertain market environment. For this purpose, 500 copies of questionnaire data were collected from corporate employees, and the research hypothesis was verified using Smart PLS 3.0. As a result of the study, superior leadership and emotional support from co-workers showed a positive (+) effect individually on the fairness of employee performance evaluation, Performance evaluation fairness showed a positive (+) effect on self-efficacy. Through this study, it was found that the fairness and self-efficacy of the performance evaluation accepted by employees affects work performance, providing a theoretical foundation for subsequent researchers. Practical implications are suggested to inspire employees to take on a challenge by managing them properly. In future research, based on the results of this study, various studies are needed on the factors that an organization must have for task performance.

Do Leaders Matter? Effects of The Governor Vacancy on the Regional Economy (리더는 중요한가? 광역단체장 부재가 지역경제에 미치는 영향)

  • This study estimates causal effects of the governor vacancy on the regional economy, exploiting the case of exogenous governor vacancy in Korea. We find that the governor vacancy has a negative impact on the regional economy by lowering the employment rate and reducing the amount of credit card expenditures. Negative effects are more pronounced among vulnerable groups of the labor market such as women and aged 20~29 and 50~59. In addition, negative effects vary by characteristics of the governor. Negative effects of the governor vacancy on the regional economy show empirical evidence suggesting that leaders do matter.

GQM 방법을 이용한 EA 평가모형 개발 프레임워크

  • 체계적인 정보화 투자 및 관리를 위한 전사적 아키텍처(EA)를 도입한 기관과 기업이 늘어남에 따라, EA 도입의 성과를 명확하게 평가해야 할 필요성도 높아지고 있다. EA를 도입한 나라의 약 36%에서 EA의 도입 현황과 성과를 측정하고 있으며, 국내에서도 범정부 정보기술아키텍처 성숙도 평가모형을 개발하는 등, 다양한 접근 방법으로 EA 평가를 위한 방안을 연구하고 있다. 그러나 EA를 통해 추구하는 목적이 매우 다양하고, EA의 활용과 관리에 대한 표준체계가 없어 EA 평가모형의 적용 범위와 효용성은 매우 제한적이다. 본 연구는 조직의 EA 평가목적에 적합한 평가 대상 및 척도를 체계적으로 도출하기 위한 EA 평가모형 개발 프레임워크를 제안한다. 프레임워크는 IEEE Std 1471의 아키텍처 표현 개념 프레임워크를 EA에 적용하여 EA 평가모형 체계를 구성하고, EA 내부와 외부 이해당사자의 관심사항을 토대로 GQM 기법을 적용하여 EA 평가의 대상인 관점(viewpoint)과 평가 척도(metric)를 도출한다. 제안된 프레임워크를 적용하면 기업 및 조직의 EA 이해당사자가 의도하는 목적이 반영된 EA 평가모형을 개발할 수 있다. 모형의 상세화와 더불어 프레임워크를 실무에 적용하기 위해서 필요한 객관적인 평가기준과 모형 개발과 적용을 지원하는 도구에 대한 연구가 향후 과제이다.

  • 최근 국방정보화 투자 규모가 늘어남에 따라 정보화 평가에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 특히 자원관리 분야와 C4I에 대한 투자가 확산됨과 동시에 정보기술의 다양성과 복잡도가 증가함에 따라 조직의 정보화 수준과 성과에 대한 평가 필요성이 확산되고 있다. 이러한 현상은 급속하게 변화된 정보기술 패러다임과 높아지는 정보화 실패율에서도 그 원인을 찾을 수 있다. 이러한 정보기술의 성과가 복합적, 간접적, 장기적, 무형적 형태로 나타나므로 그 평가가 더욱 어려워지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 현재 진행 중인 국방정보화의 추진 동향을 살펴보고, 국내 정보화평가방법론에 관하여 살펴보았다. 그리고 국방부에서 추진해야 할 국방정보화 평가의 방안을 제시하였다.

The Effects of Affordance System Use on Agility and Performance (서비스기업의 변화준비성을 통한 행동유도시스템 활용이 접점직원의 민첩성 및 성과에 미치는 영향)

  • This study defined the concepts of change-readiness, affordance system, agility, and performance, which are becoming increasingly important and necessary in service industry. Also, by verifying the relationship among these factors based on theoretical and empirical researches, it proposed strategic implications for service firms to reinforce their competitiveness. The results of the analysis in this study are as follows. First, the factors of technology, organization, and environment had significant effects on affordance system. Second, affordance system had significant effects on both agility and performance. Third, agility had a significant effect on performance. Fourth, job uncertainty moderated the relationship between affordance system and agility, but not between affordance system and performance. The results suggest that affordance system is a highly effective method of improving agility of the frontline employees. To maximize the utility of affordance system, sufficient change-readiness in technological, organizational, and environmental factors are required. Reasons and implications of these observed relationships are discussed.

  • The main purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of authentic leadership on occupational self-efficacy and role-based performance and to investigate the effect of occupational self-efficacy on role-based performance. Moreover, another objective of this study is to analyse the mediating role of occupational self-efficacy in the influence of authentic leadership on role-based performance. To accomplish the purpose of the study, this study employed two methods: literature reviews and empirical studies. The results showed that authentic leadership increase employees' occupational self-efficacy and have a positive influence on role-based performance. And it was found that employees' occupational self-efficacy also positively affect employees' role-based performance.

Key Success Factors of Agricultural Cooperative Federation: A Comparative Study of High Performers and Low Performers (농협조직의 핵심성공요인: 고성과 지역농협과 저성과 지역농협의 비교연구)

  • This study was conducted to identify key success factors of the Agricultural Cooperative Federation. We classified the divisions of regional agricultural cooperatives into high performers and low performers to investigate differences in environmental stability, resource capacity, resource flexibility, differentiation strategy, and low-cost strategies between high and low performers. Empirical analyses revealed that high performers are superior to low performers in resource capacity, resource flexibility, differentiation, and low-cost, but there was no difference in environmental stability between high performers and low performers. Internal factors including resource and strategy attributes affect business performance, but external factors such as environmental attributes do not. Moreover, resource flexibility generates the broadest gap between high performers and low performers. These results indicate that resource flexibility is the key factor leading to success of organizations with greater competitors because it enables them to overcome their disadvantageous competitive position in size and resources through complete exploitation of resources across divergent business areas owing to its flexibility. Our contribution is that we draw the key success factors of the Agricultural Cooperative Federation through an empirical approach.

A Study on the Effect of the Creative Characteristics of the Film Crew on the Success of Movies (영화제작진 특성과 영화성과 관계 연구)

  • The film crews is a unique organization composed of members with expertise in each field and operated temporarily for a relatively short period of time. This study attempted to infer that the group characteristics and ability of the film crews to draw out the members' capabilities will affect the success or failure of the film, and to investigate their influence relationship. To this end, the research model was designed with diversity, cohesion, and information utilization as independent variables, and the artistry and box office performance of the film as dependent variables. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the diversity of the film crew affects both the artistry and box office performance, and the cohesion only affects the artistry. However, it was found that information utilization had no effect on film performance. It was confirmed that the diversity of the film crews was related to the film performance, and the cohesion had a limited effect. The results of this study provide implications that the design concept of the film crews based on diversity may be more important than process factors such as information utilization.

  • 본 논문에서는 다양한 협동조합들 중 대표적인 협동조합이라고 할 수 있는 농업협동조합을 대상으로 협동조합의 특수성에 맞는 리더십을 모색하며 리더십이 조직유효성 및 조직 몰입도에 미치는 영향을 연구할 수 있는 모형 및 분석의 제언을 하고자 한다. 변혁적 리더십과 조직유효성의 측정은 농업협동조합으로 보고자 하였으며, 이를 통하여 조합장의 리더십이 조직유효성과의 상관관계를 분석할 수 있을 것이다.
