Recently, the information appliance devices integrating information technology, appliance technology, and communication technology are appeared in home. And this environment requires that the monitoring technology should include the interaction and the real-time controlling among these devices using home network. In this paper, we implemented the active objects for information appliances by applying the Time-triggered Message-triggered Object(TMO) scheme supporting real-time service. Based on distributed real-time services supporting platform using the TMO Support Middleware(TMOSM), we also constructed the real-time information appliance controlling simulator supporting the remote controlling and monitoring service among active objects. The information appliance devices implemented by the TMO scheme can exchange the housing information by autonomous triggering. And we can conveniently reconfigure the executing environment for information appliances when new devices were inserted. For constructing the simulator on the distributed real-time service supporting platform, we described the functions of the active TMOs for information appliances that execute the temperature management, the illuminance management, and the time management controlling services, and designed the remote interaction among them. Finally, by implementing the simulating environment of information appliance devices on distributed platform, we showed whether the procedures of the real-time controlling and the monitoring service for the active objects of information appliances corresponding to physical devices are processed in given executing conditions correctly.

The software-defined radio (SDR) is a radio communication technology that can reconfigure necessary application software on a common hardware platform to deal with several kind of radio communication environment. It is necessary for a system that can control and analyze functionalities of a system in order to verify the SCA-based reconfigurable middleware platform, SCARLET that implements the SDR technology. In this paper, we propose and implement the architecture of the waveform manager that is connected with SCARLET and performs management and control functionalities. We verify the performance of the waveform manager by testing each functionality of the overall system that uses the SCARLET middleware platform.

New business model for mobile internet has been developed using multifunction mobile terminal. Multifunction terminal provides mobile multimedia service such as VOD and AOD and personal area network(PAN) service using bluetooth and W-LAN. In this paper, we develop home network WEI application interworking with home network gateway This application controls home appliances and provides still image for home secuirt using the web camera. We further develop the home networking PAN services using multifunction terminal having GigBee and RFID.

오늘날 미래인터넷 기술의 하나로서 SDN이 클라우드 서비스, 모바일 서비스, 스마트 TV, 빅데이터 및 사물지능통신 등의 새로운 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 개방형 플랫폼으로 주목받고 있다. 본고에서는 이러한 SDN 망을 구축함에 있어서 제어 인터페이스, QoS, 멀티캐스트, 이동성 및 네트워크 보안 측면에서 고려해야 할 사항들을 살펴본다. 기존 네트워크의 근본적인 문제점으로 인해 발생한 복잡성 및 성능 저하 요인들이 SDN의 장점을 활용하여 해결될 수 있으며, 이에 본고에서 제시된 고려 사항들이 큰 역할을 할 것이다.

본 고는 통신의 진화 방향인 통합(convergence)의 추세에 관하여 논한다. 통합 서비스를 위한 기본 인프라인 광대역 통합망(BcN, Broadband convergence Network)의 개념, 서비스 특징 및 발전방향 등을 기술한다. 통합은 서비스, 네트워크, 비즈니스 등의 통합으로 실현되고 있다. 광대역 통합망은 유무선 통합, 통신과 방송 융합, 음성 및 데이터의 통합을 위해 필요한 네트워크를 서비스 계층, 제어 계층, 전달망 계층, 접속 계층, 유비쿼터스 접속 및 가입자 단말 계층으로 구분한다. BcN은 사용자가 원하는 품질과 보안의 정도에 따라 차별화된 광대역 멀티미디어 서비스 제공 및 관리가 가능한 네트워크이다. 먼저, 무선 네트워크에서의 광대역 멀티미디어 서비스의 특징 및 종류, 이를 위한 광대역 통합망의 특징을 살펴보고, 향후 BcN으로의 진화 방향을 살펴본다. 그리고 향후 통신 서비스의 진화 방향인 유비쿼터스 서비스를 위해 필요한 유비쿼터스 네트워크를 전망하고, 미래의 유비쿼터스 네트워크를 위한 지능형 플랫폼, 통합 단말, USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) 등 기술적 요구사항들과 진화방향을 제시한다.

This paper introduces the security standardization trend and related technology in ITU-T SG 13 Q.15. Q.15 deals with the security requirements and guidelines over NGN(Next Generation Network) release 1. Korea proposes draft recommendation on 'AAA(Authentication, Authorization and Accounting) Service for network access control over NGN' and the procedure of the user authentication for the NGN convergence service terminals.

정보가전에 대한 연구가 현재 활발히 진행 중에 있고 정보가전이 실현되었을 때 다양한 서비스와 연계가 가능하고, 사람들의 생활환경에 많은 변화가 일어날 것으로 전망된다. 본 논문에서는 정보가전 기반의 건강관리 멀티 에이전트 시스템을 설계와 구현을 기술하였다. 홈 제어 네트워크로는 전력선 기반의 LonWorks를 이용하고, OSGI(Open Services Gateway Initiative)를 이용하여 LonWorks기반의 디바이스들을 제어한다. 멀티에이전트 시스템으로는 FIPA(The Foundation for Intelligent Physical Agents) Specification을 따르고, 이 플랫폼 위에서 건강관리 에이전트, 가전제품관리 에이전트, 건강관리 Library, 요리 Library, 운동 Library를 구현하였다.

Looking at the recent value change of users and the usage pattern of network users, it is changing from simple web information, one-way information acquisition and data transmission to increase of usage of multimedia, increasing demand for security and customization, and increasing demands for free mobility. Due to this change of demand, the services which were provided individually, developed into a form which is merged, the network also seems to develop into the combined network from the individual network for individual service, and the communication network control technology which is the core technology is also rapidly developing. To reflect the users' demands, the next generation network created the multi-layer network which is based on the WDM/IP transmission system and added the to make it easy to restructure. P-OTS (Packet-Optical Transport System) can be defined as a platform that combines SONET/SDH, Ethernet, DWDM, optical transport network (OTN) switching and reconfigurable optical add-drop multiplexers (ROADMs). In this paper, we suggested that the optimum path choice be performed through diversification of the PCE-based path selection using the information of various layers altogether in the multi-layer environment, compared with the established path selection method when the path was selected using the information of each layers.

Mobile multimedia services such as TV-call or video streaming are gradually becoming popular in the 3rd or more generation mobile network (IMT-2000). Multimedia traffic is expected to continue increasing into the coming years, and IP technology is considered to be the efficient way of transporting such huge volumes of multimedia traffic. IP-based IMT network platform represents an evolution from IMT-2000. The structure of IP-based IMT network as ubiquitous platform is three-layered model : Middleware including Network Control PlatForm (NCPF) and Service Support PlatForm (SSPF), IP-BackBone (IP-BB), access network including sensor network. Mobility Management (MM) architecture in NCPF is proposed for IP-based IMT network in order to manage routing information and location information separately. The generous existing method of multicast control in IP-based IMT network is Remote Subscription. But Remote Subscription has problem that should be reconstructed whole multicast tree when sender in multicast tree moves to another area. To solve this problem, we propose the way to put Multicast-manager in NCPF.
