Comics are a genre that convey meaning through compositional arrangements of dialogue and images as well as through the flow of panels across a page. Communicating that meaning to readers through a combination of language and visual lexicons is the essential process of drawing comics, a process that in itself is significant. The semiotics of comics is a field of scholarship grounded in the broader discipline of semiotic theory in which all the components of comics, both visual and verbal, are the subject of study and research. By adopting a semiotic approach we are able to objectively analyze and understand the symbolic, social and ideological meanings embedded in the signs and sign processes expressed in comics. The fundamental pedagogical mission of teaching comics is to cultivate human nature through the study of theory as well as through the production and completion of original works that explore new modes of expression. To go further, interpreting those embedded meanings in the context of comics fosters effective and creative skills of expression that go beyond a mere fascination for the genre itself. In short, because the semiotic approach to understanding visual communication is the essence teaching comics, we can expect that the act of reading and creating comics plays a significant role in understanding visual communication.

We proposed a symbolic substitution method based on an optical correlator for an optical parallel addition. In the proposed symbolic substitution method, we used redundant binary number of the symbolic substitution rules as a number system and chose MAC3E filter which had very low sidelobes and good correlation peak compared with SDF filter as the optical correlation filter. We encoeded input numbers property to increase the discrimination capability and divided inpt patterns into 5 groups of the same addition results to minimize the number of symbolic substitution rules. Through the computer simulation, we confirmed the proposed method was suitable to implement the optical parallel adder.

관능검사(官能檢査) 일반법(一般法)의 표준화(標準化)를 위(爲)하여 우리나라 실정(實情)에 맞는 관능검사(官能檢査) 방법(方法)을 시험연구검토(試驗硏究檢討)한 결과(結果)를 요약(要約)하면 다음과 같다. 1. 감도시험(感度試驗) 및 차이식별(差異識別) 능력시험(能力試驗)을 통(通)하여 관능(官能)파넬을 선발(選拔)하였으며, 선발(選拔)된 파넬을 대상으로 우유(牛乳) 제품(製品)의 관능특성(官能特性)에 대한 차이식별검사(差異識別檢査), 순위시험(順位試驗), 채점시험(採點試驗), 기호시험(嗜好試驗) 등을 실시하여 우리나라 실정(實情)에 적합한 관능검사(官能檢査) 방법(方法)을 요발전(要發展)시켰다. 2. 9 단계(段階) 기호척도(嗜好尺度) 및 제품(製品)에 대한 기호성(嗜好性)의 우리말 표현(表現) 용어(用語)을 조사(調査)하였다. 3. 우리나라 산업계(産業界) 실정(實情)에 적합한 관능검사(官能檢査) 일반법(一般法)에 관(關)한 표준(標準) 규격안(規格案)을 작성(作成)하였다.

농촌진흥청은 여름철 보양식으로 알려진 삼계탕의 수출확대 방안으로 미국, 일본, 중국 등 각 나라의 기호도를 고려한 삼계탕의 다양한 요리법을 신안산대 정재홍 교수팀과 공동으로 개발했다. 각 나라에서 선호하는 음식재료와 다양한 조리방법을 이용한 삼계탕 요리법에 대해 알아보자.

이 글은 현대 한국어의 모음 음가를 음성학적으로 기술한다. 여기서 한국어란 서울 지역을 근거로 하는 표준말을 뜻한다. 한국어 모음의 소리값을 기술하는 과정에서 일부 방언 및 외국어의 음가와 비교 설명하는 일이 있으므로 이들 방언이나 외국어와 한국 표준말의 소리 차이를 이해하는 데도 도움이 될 것이다. 이 글의 본문은 "음성 반풀어 쓰기"로 적는다. "반풀어 쓰기"란 받침을 아래에 두지 않고 오른쪽 옆으로 적는 것을 말하며 "음성"이란 맞춤법을 따르지 않고 한글 글자를 음성기호로 활용하여 소리나는 대로 적는 법을 뜻한다. 그러므로 각 모음 기호마다 올바른 소리값을 주면서 음성 반풀어 쓰기로 적은 본문을 읽는다면 틀림없이 한국 표준 발음을 하게 될 것이다. 본문에서 긴소리는 같은 글자를 두 번 겹쳐서 나타냈다.

학교급식에서 싫어하는 채소류에 대한 새로운 조리법 개발을 통해 성장기 아동들에게 고른 영양섭취 기회를 제공하므로서 영양섭취 효율을 높여 주고자 하였다. 천안시에 거주하는 2ㆍ4ㆍ6학년 641명을 대상으로 급식에 제공되는 채소류에 대해 인지도, 기호도, 섭취빈도 설문 조사에서 아동들이 싫어하는 채소류로 피망, 풋고추, 브로컬리, 양파, 파, 도라지, 미나리, 부추, 호박, 양상추가 분류되었다. (중략)

In multibody dynamic analysis, one of the most important problems is to reduce computation times for real time simulation. In this paper, a symbolic computation method is implemented and tested for each dynamic analysis step. Applying symbolic formulations to the vehicle dynamics program AutoDyn7, the effectiveness of the symbolic computation method is verified.
