This study aims to analyze policy changes over time by conducting a textual analysis of the basic plan for activating convergence research and development. By examining the basic plan for convergence research development, this study looks into changes in convergence research policies and suggests future directions, thereby exploring strategic approaches that can contribute to the advancement of science and technology and societal development in our country. In particular, it sought to understand the policy changes proposed by the basic plan by identifying the relevance and trends of topics over time. Various analytical methods such as TF-IDF analysis, topic modeling (LDA), and network (CONCOR) analysis were used to identify the key topics of each period and grasp the trends in policy changes. The analysis revealed clustering of topics by period and changes in topics, providing directions for the convergence research ecosystem and addressing pressing issues. The results of this study are expected to provide important insights to various stakeholders such as governments, businesses, academia, and research institutions, offering new insights into the changes in policies proposed by previous basic plans from a macroscopic perspective.
As cloud services and deployment models become diverse, there are a growing number of cloud computing selection options. Therefore, financial companies need a methodology to select the appropriated cloud for each financial computing system. This study adopted the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) framework to classify factors for the introduction of cloud computing in financial companies. Using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), the evaluation items are layered into the performance perspective and the cloud consideration factor and a comprehensive decision model is proposed. To verify the proposed research model, a system of financial company is divided into three: account, information, and channel system, and the result of decision making by both financial business experts and technology experts from two financial companies were collected. The result shows that some common factors are important in all systems, but most of the factors considered are very different from system to system. We expect that our methodology contributes to the spread of cloud computing adoption.
Online platforms recently expanded their connectivity through an authing service. The growth of authing services enabled consumers to enjoy easy log in access without exerting extra effort. However, multiple points of access increases the security vulnerability of platform ecosystems. Despite the importance of balancing authing service and security, only a few studies examined platform connectivity. This study examines the optimal level of authing service of a platform and how authing strategies impact participants in a platform ecosystem. We used a game-theoretic approach to analyze security problems associated with authing services provided by online platforms for consumers and other linked platforms. The main findings are as follows: 1) the decreased expected loss of consumers will increase the number of players who participate in the platform; 2) linked platforms offer strong benefits from consumers involved in an authing service; 3) the main platform will increase its effort level, which includes security cost and checking of linked platform's security if the expected loss of the consumers is low. Our study contributes to the literature on the relationship between technology convenience and security risk and provides guidelines on authing strategies to platform managers.
In recent years, as more and more middle-aged people who worked at companies are retiring, they are becoming interested in starting their own businesses, and the rate of middle-aged people starting businesses is increasing. The purpose of this study was to analyze the quality and satisfaction of educational services and trust in educational institutions in providing entrepreneurship education to prospective entrepreneurs over the age of 40 who want to start a business, and to analyze the impact of entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurship in the future. Afterwards, the goal is to establish an education strategy to improve the quality of entrepreneurship education. To achieve the purpose of the study, a hypothesis was established and an empirical analysis was conducted on educated prospective entrepreneurs and retirees over 40 years of age. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that confidence and reliability ultimately influence the factors that increase satisfaction with entrepreneurship education for middle-aged and older people. Satisfaction was found to play a meaningful role in trust. The research points out that entrepreneurship education institutions should provide education centered on the trainees rather than entrepreneurship education centered on support organizations. Moreover, due to the diversity of education, not only the content and method of education but also the education of employees working in supporting organizations is important.
Recently, Virtual Human(VH) has begun to appear in various media, not only on social media, but also in advertisements, music sources, and dramas. Virtual human has become a primary marketing tool for companies, but there also exist concerns when the companies do not disclose the identities of virtual humans. Accordingly, it is necessary to examine users' responses toward content that features virtual humans. This study aimed to examine how the exposure of virtual humans in the content affects users' perceptions. Therefore, the study defined the concept of 'VH Disclosure(VHD)', referring to the exposure of the virtual human's identity, and explored the impact of VH disclosure on attitude toward the ad (Hedonism, Utilitarianism, and Interestingness) and source credibility (Trustworthiness and Expertise). The study conducted an experimental survey with 302 respondents. Regardless of when the ad featured a VH or a human, the results showed that there was no significant difference between users' attitudes and source credibility. The results revealed that it was more effective to disclose the VH in social media feeds than directly reveal the VH's identity in the content. Therefore, this study utilizes a new concept of 'VH Disclosure(VHD)' to enhance the understanding of VH and contributes to establishing marketing strategies optimized for consumers in the creation of virtual human-related content.
This study aims to understand the changes in the beauty industry due to the pandemic from the consumer's perspective based on consumers' opinions about their skin online before and after the pandemic. Furthermore, this study tries to derive strategies for companies and governments to support sustainable growth and innovation in the beauty industry. To this end, posts on social media from 2017 to 2022 that contained the keyword 'skin concerns' are collected, and after data preprocessing, 96,908 posts are used for the structural topic model. To examine whether consumers' interest areas related to skin change according to the pandemic situation, the analysis period is divided into 7 periods, and the variables that distinguish each stage are used as meta-variables for the structural topic model. As a result, it is found that consumers' interests can be divided into 22 topics, which can be categorized into four main categories: beauty manufacturing, beauty services, skin concerns, and other. The results of this study are expected to be utilized in construction of product development and marketing strategies of related companies and the establishment of economic support policies by the government in response to changes in demand in the beauty industry due to the pandemic.

As the domestic and international landscape undergoes rapid changes, the importance of implementing security measures in response to the growing threats that businesses face is increasing. In this context, the need for Security by Design (SbD), integrating security from the early design stages, is becoming more pronounced, with threat modeling recognized as a fundamental tool of SbD. Particularly, to save costs and time by detecting and resolving security issues early, the application of the Shift Left strategy requires the involvement of personnel with limited security expertise, such as software developers, in threat modeling. Although various automated threat modeling tools have been released, their lack of user-friendliness for personnel lacking security expertise poses challenges in conducting threat modeling effectively. To address this, we conducted an analysis of research related to threat modeling tools and derived usability evaluation criteria based on the GQM(Goal-Question-Metric) approach. An expert survey was conducted to validate both the validity and objectivity of the derived criteria. We performed usability evaluations of three threat modeling tools (MS TMT, SPARTA, PyTM), and the evaluation results led to the conclusion that MS TMT exhibited superior usability compared to other tools. This study aims to contribute to the creation of an environment where personnel with limited security expertise can effectively conduct threat modeling by proposing usability evaluation criteria.
Recently, domestic universities have become more competitive among universities due to the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the rapid decline of population. As a result, universities are making great efforts to improve university service quality to enhance university competitiveness as they change from supplier-centered thinking to consumer-centered thinking. Despite the increasing importance of university service quality, research on service quality is mainly focused on companies, and research on service quality in the university education environment is insufficient. Therefore, this study aims to examine the influence relationship between university service quality, trust, reputation, and behavior intention. The results of this study are as follows. First, among the service quality of university, tangibility, assurance, and empathy were found to have a positive (+) effect on the trust of the university, but reliability was found to have no significant effect on the trust of the university. Second, among the service quality of university, tangibility, reliability, and empathy were found to have a positive (+) effect on the reputation of the university, but assurance was found to have no significant effect on the reputation of the university. Third, it was found that the trust of the university had a positive (+) effect on the behavior intention. Fourth, it was found that the university's reputation had a positive (+) effect on the behavior intention. Through the above research results, this study aims to derive an effective management plan for university service quality and to present a plan for establishing a differentiated operating strategy for universities that can respond to students' learning needs and changes in the times in the rapidly changing university education environment.
This study aims to investigate the impact of hotel marketing agility on employee job crafting and service innovative behavior in the context of the uncertainties faced by the Korean hotel industry amidst a rapidly changing business environment. In the post-COVID era, hotel companies need to quickly detect market trends and respond flexibly to secure a competitive advantage and promote sustainable growth. Given the high proportion of face-to-face services in the hotel industry, marketing agility is emerging as a core competency to effectively cope with changing customer demands and market dynamics. However, an organization's agile marketing capabilities only take on true meaning when frontline employees voluntarily redesign their jobs and lead service process innovations. In this regard, job crafting, which refers to employees' active redefinition and modification of their job boundaries, can serve as a link between organizational agility and individual innovative behavior. By empirically analyzing the structural relationship between marketing agility, job crafting, and service innovative behavior in the hotel context, this study applies the concept of agility to the field of human resource management and provides new insights into the antecedents and outcomes of job crafting. The results show that hotel responsiveness has a significant positive impact on all three dimensions of job crafting. In the case of speed and flexibility, they had a significant positive effect on task and relational crafting, but the effect of speed on cognitive crafting was not significant. The implications of the study suggest that hotels' rapid decision-making and execution may actually constrain employees' cognitive crafting activities, such as reflecting on and reinterpreting the meaning and identity of their work. Furthermore, it is expected to provide meaningful insights for hotel managers facing environmental upheavals to seek practical measures to enhance agility and innovativeness.

We have made significant efforts to deeply investigate and analyze the success factors of small business owners, who play a crucial role in modern society, to gain a clear understanding of the factors that affect their business performance. We set the management capabilities of small business owners, the utilization of government support services, and policy support funds as the main variables. Our research has discovered that the management capabilities of small business owners and government support services positively influence their business performance. This means that small business owners can enhance their business performance by strengthening their capabilities and efficiently utilizing government support services. The utilization of policy support funds showed a moderating effect only on the impact of government support services on financial performance, but not on other business performances. This suggests that while the utilization of policy support funds is necessary, it is not sufficient by itself and needs to work in combination with other variables to see effectiveness. Our research proposes a new direction for the success of small business owners. Through this research, small business owners and related policy decision-makers can gain deep insights into the factors that influence the business performance of small business owners and how to effectively manage and utilize these factors. This research has made a significant contribution to academic research on business management and small business owners. Through a deep understanding of the success factors of small business owners, we have proposed new research directions and strategies that can help improve their business performance. These efforts will take us a step further in enhancing the social and economic value of small business owners.
