A Study on the Expansion of Fundamental Categories Based on Thesaurus International Standards (시소러스 국제표준 기반 기본 범주의 확장에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to extend fundamental categories from Clause 11, "facet analysis" in International Standards for thesaurus(ISO 25964-1) by analyzing fundamental categories of Clause 11 and concept and their scope in a thesaurus of Clause 5. For to do this, the fundamental categories were established by adjusting partially and adding mental entities explicitly referencing the highest concepts(YAMATO which is the upper ontology of Mizoguchi, and ISO 2788) and existing fundamental categories(PMEST, FRBR group 3 entities, 13 categories in CRG). Also, established fundamental categories were reorganized and structured based on concreteness/abstraction of PMEST in Ranganathan and independence/dependence of YAMATO in Mizoguchi. And the upper categories were divided into independent and dependent entities. Under these entities 28 criteria are included in the independent ones and 2 criteria in the dependent ones. In the further study, the result of this study can be expected to reuse and refer as controlled vocabulary in the field like classification, taxonomies and thesauri where expected to utilize fundamental categories and as the high-level concept when constructing an ontology for information retrieval.

  • This study focused on the geographical concepts development and its zone of proximal development(ZPD) through the collaborative interaction. Among the conclusions are: 1) Students who have higher cognitive structure represented the Creator Seoul Metropolitan Area(GSMA) as a geographical concepts, not as a spontaneous concepts. The concepts is developed from concrete facts, subordinate element concept to basic element concept hierarchically. The most difficult concept that the learner should internalize was represented as the basic element concept. 2) Although ZPD of GSMA is individualized, it could be divided into 9 types. The ZPD was developed differently according to the qualitative differences how much more and how systematically represented the geographical concepts. The characteristics shown in this development procedure was that there was a quality change based on quantity extensive.

  • In order to develop a safe geological disposal concept for the HLW from the nuclear power plants in Korea, it is necessary to evaluate the safety of the disposal concept in an underground research tunnel in the same geological formation as the host rock mass. The design concept of a research tunnel depends on the actual disposal concept, repository geometry, experiments to be carried at the tunnel, and geological conditions. In this study, geological investigation had been carried out to develop the basic design of the small scale underground disposal research tunnel in KAERI.

A Survey Research on Students's Understanding of Definition, Formula, and Theorem at College Mathematics Classes (대학수학에서 정의, 공식, 정리의 이해도 검사)

  • The importance of students' precise understanding of mathematical definitions, formulas, and theorems can not be underestimated. In this survey research, we attempted to evaluate students' understanding of the concepts of five topics -limit, continuity and intermediate theorem, derivative, application of derivative and integral. On the basis of the research result, this paper suggests that we need to 1) be more inventive and speculative in making test problems, 2) explain the examples and counter-examples more concretely, 3) stress and repeat the basic concepts on the stage of introducing new concepts, 4) develop more effective problems for the measure of students' understanding of mathematical concepts, 5) use developed problems in actual teaching.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest IC concepts and some basic ideas of construction of public library's application model based of NDL IC Model. In order to successful introduction and construction of IC in public library, it should be preceded that some ideas of IC space concepts and constructual direction, physical space and facilities plan and gradual progress that introduce to the IC concepts.

  • The underground research tunnel is essential to validate the integrity of a reference high-level waste disposal system, and the safety of geological disposal. In this study, a basic design of an underground research tunnel (URT) was tried to be developed. The candidate site for URT was described briefly, and it was intended to suggest the basic concept of the underground research tunnel. In order to develop the design of URT based on the basic concept, design requirements were established. Based on the basic concept and the design requirements, the basic design of URT was performed. Research items to be studied in the URT were also derived in this study.

  • 오늘날은 과학문명의 발달로 인하여 기존지식의 수명이 점차 짧아져 가고있는 것이 특징이다. 지식의 증가는 단순히 지식의 양을 증가시키는 역할뿐 아니라 많은 기존지식을 불충분하고 쓸모 없는 것으로 바꿔버리게 한다. 그러므로 학교에서는 학생들에게 어떤 특정지식의 축척보다는 그 학문에 내재해 있는 기본적인 지식의 구조를 학습하게 하여 여러 가지 개념을 관련시키는 논리적 방법을 학습하게 하고 합리적인 탐구방법을 구사할 수 있도록 하여 변화하는 미지의 세계에 대처해 나갈 수 있도록 하는 것이 중요하다. 본 연구는 간호학의 기본 지식구조를 확인하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구를 하게 된 동기는 간호업무의 근거로 활용도리 지식체계는 교육과정의 조직원리로 작용될 유형이나 구조를 지니고 있으며 이런 유형이나 구조를 중심으로 간호교육과정을 구성하는 것이 간호교육에 필수적이라는 문제에서 비롯되었다. 연구방법은 1982년 9월부터 1983년 5월에 걸쳐 간호학 문헌을 체계적으로 분석하여 간호학의 개념적 지식구조와 구문적 지식구조를 확인하였다. 그 결과 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다. 1. 간호학의 개념적 구조: 모든 학문에는 탐구의 대상인 특수현상을 설명하고 서술하는데 활용되는 일련의 실질적, 개념적 구조를 가지고 있다. 그러나 그 학문의 중요한 부분 또는 중심을 포함하고 있는 개념들이 그 분야 또는 학문의 개략이라고 할 수 있는데 연구결과 간호학에서 가장 높은 순위의 대표적 특질을 지닌 개념은 인간, 건강, 환자/대상자, 간호, 행동으로 분석되었다. 2. 간호학의 구문적 지식구조 : 지식구조의 두 번째 요소인 학문의 구문(syntax)은 간호학에서의 특징적인 탐구방법과 관련되나 개념적 구조와 마찬가지로 탐구방법은 학문에 따라 다르며 그 분야의 주요양상을 나타낸다. 연구결과 간호학에서의 특징적인 탐구방법은 공동적으로 간호과정(nursing process)임이 나타났으며 그 요인으로는 사정, 진단, 계획, 수행, 평가의 다섯 단계로 분석되었다.

A Study on the Definition of National Base Map in Response to the Changing Times (시대 변화에 대응하는 국가기본도 정의에 관한 연구)

  • The national base map of Korea has become more useful as the spatial information industry has developed rapidly. Beyond the simple application of the past paper map era, the role as important spatial information in the smart city and digital twin era is required with the IT (Information Technology) revolution. Therefore, the concepts of seamless, multi scale, object-oriented, customized production and real-time updating have emerged, and innovations in the distribution process through the internet are also taking place. Although the concept and definition in the law that is corresponds to the status of the national base map must be supported, the concept and definition of the paper map introduced from the surveying law in 1980 still exist. The definition of the national base map cannot meet current technological developments and social needs and does not reflect the perceptions of the majority of the people as well as the practical capacity of government organizations that manage it. Therefore, it is necessary to establish the concept of national base map in accordance with the current situation and to define it in the law. In this study, the concept of national base map was established and defined by comprehensive analysis of the development process of the national base map, the changes in the times and cases of the United States, the United Kingdom and Japan.

  • 본 논문은 언어학적 데이터로부터 자동으로 온톨로지를 생성하기 위한 모델을 제안하고 이를 구현한다. 모델 제안을 위해 온톨로지의 기본 구성 요소인 개념과 관계를 정의하고 이러한 개념과 관계 객체를 자동으로 추출하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. WordNet을 이용하여 개념을 자동으로 추출하고, 추출된 개념들간의 관계는 한국어의 구문적 특성을 이용하여 관계의 기본 형태를 정의하고 이를 기반으로 관계를 추출한다. 본 논문은 특허문서에서 전기통신기술문서를 대상으로 구현했으며, 제안된 알고리즘을 다른 영역으로 확장하여 이를 검증할 것이다.
