SLA (Service Level Agreement) Metrics in IT Operation Outsourcing (정보체계 운영 아웃소싱에 있어서의 서비스 수준 측정 메트릭)

  • For the successful IT operation outsourcing there need appropriate metrics on which both of the service clients and provider agree. The metrics are used to set up the service level objectives, which are manifested in the service level agreement with price. A study of metrics is necessary for the following reasons: First, most of the metrics used today were introduced in the early years of computers and are not satisfactory to both of the service providers and clients. Second, metrics represent the performance of system components but not end-user satisfaction. Third, because the service provider leads the outsourcing agreement, the objectives are specified more favorable to the provider. The objectives should be based on metrics that both sides fully understand and agree on.

A Comparison of Income Level and Work-Related Fatalities for Finding Causes and Measures for Construction Sector (소득수준 대비 산재사망지수 비교를 통한 건설분야 산업재해 분석 및 저감대책)

  • As the income level of a country gets improved, people's social, economic, and cultural expectation will grow at the same time. Although the income level of Korea has been remarkably improved, her work-related fatality rate is the highest among OECD countries. Moreover, the rate hasn't been reduced for more than 10 years. This study aims to provide appropriate measures for work-related fatality reduction by comparing the income levels and the work-related fatality rates of countries and by analysing the problems of our worker-oriented accident prevention policy. For the comparison of income level and work-related fatalities, this study suggests income-level incorporated fatality rate, and it turned out that the rate of Korea is the highest among the countries. In order to find out the causes of that result, this study has found that our law enforcement is much weaker than that of UK, which implicates more strict law enforcement policy is needed to improve our work-related safety.

  • LVC-G COTS SW are widely used for the military training due to several advantages. Accordingly, LVC-G COTS SW domestic developments are in demand. In this study, there are the four hypotheses in the gap between users and developers and establish the hypotheses are all correct. The first hypothesis "LVC-G associated with the COTS SW between users and developers about the requirements for the performance gap is expected.", the second hypothesis, "LVC-G associated with between users and developers for COTS SW technology gap is expected for the elements. ", the third hypothesis" LVC-G associated with the COTS SW development costs between users and developers about the expectations gap is about. ", the fourth hypothesis" LVC for COTS SW-G and related skill levels between users and developers are excited about the gap ". Every hypothesis were confirmed to be valid by interview and survey.

Factors Affecting Later-life Expectation of Semi-older Adults (준고령자의 노후생활기대감에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • This study aims to look at the factors affecting later-life expectation of semi-older adults. Total of 323 participants aged from 50 to 64 was used for analysis from the data of 'Korean's Perception on Aging Society', which was conducted on behalf of Initiative for Humanities' Research and Education, funded by National Research Foundation of Korea. Multiple regression analysis was used for analysis, and the results are as follows. First, later-life expectation of semi-older adults appeared to be high. Second, the significant factors were prejudice towards the elderly and social solidarity. That is, participants with lower prejudice towards the elderly and higher trust and solidarity with society showed greater later-life expectation. Based on the results of this study, future research directions and implications for policy and practice were suggested.

  • 기업이 추구하는 경쟁우위요소에 따라 추구하는 경쟁전략유형을 실증적으로 분석하였다. 또한 경쟁전략유형에 따른 경영품질 수준의 차이도 분석하였다. 그리고 추구하는 경쟁우위요소와 추구하는 경쟁전략유형이 적절히 조화를 갖춤이 경영품질 수준에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지 분석하였다. 분석의 결과는 본원적 경쟁전략의 이론이 우리나라 기업에서도 그대로 적용됨을 확인하였으며, 경쟁전략의 유형에 따라 경영품질 수준에도 차이가 있음을 확인하였으며, 경쟁전략의 적합성이 맞은 기업의 경영품질 수준이 그렇지 않은 기업의 경영품질 수준보다 높음을 확인하였다. 따라서 기업은 추구하는 경쟁전략요소에 적절한 경쟁전략유형을 선택하여 추구함으로서 경영품질 수준을 향상시키고, 보다 나은 경영성과를 기대할 수 있다.

  • 본 논문에서는 DigComp를 분석하여 데이터 리터러시 수준을 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 DigComp의 구성요소인 데이터 리터러시, 소통 및 협업, 디지털 콘텐츠 제작, 보안, 문제해결 중 데이터 리러터시 영역의 세부 요소를 살펴보았다. 데이터 리터러시는 탐색·검색·필터링, 평가, 관리 3가지로 세분되어 있었고, 각각은 수준에 따라 기초, 중급, 고급, 전문가의 4단계로 구분되어 있었다. 그리고 3가지 영역의 수준을 분석하여 각 수준을 대표하는 핵심 단어를 추출하였다. 향후 이를 바탕으로 한 구체적 적용방안에 관한 연구가 이뤄지길 기대한다.

  • 국내대학은 학령인구 감소와 등록금 동결로 재정적인 어려움을 겪고 있다. 2018년 대학기본역량진단평가를 받으면서 선택과 집중을 통한 생존전략을 모색하고, 효율적으로 대학을 운영하는 방법이 주목받고 있다. 교육서비스 품질의 향상은 대학 행정직원의 업무 몰입을 통해서 가능하며, 이는 직원 만족도의 향상을 통해 이루어진다. 대학 행정직원의 실제 만족도는 사전에 갖고 있던 일정 수준의 기대가 영향을 미친다. 본 연구에서는 사전 기대와 실제 성과의 차이인 직무기대 불일치가 전반적인 직무만족에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 이를 통해 지원정책의 우선순위를 제시하여 효율적인 전략수립에 도움을 주고자 한다. 남성은 여성에 비해 보수결정과정과 조직내 인간관계를 더욱 중요하게 여기고 있으며, 여성은 정년보장을 더욱 중요하게 여기고 있다. 근무기간이 짧을수록 보수결정과정, 급여의 적절성, 복지제도에서 기대불일치가 높고, 승진의 공정성에 대한 기대불일치는 낮다. 전반적인 직무만족 결과가 개인 특성별로 차이가 존재하므로 직원 지원정책 수립과정에 개인 특성을 고려한다면 제한된 재원으로 효율적인 전략을 수립할 수 있을 것이다.

Health life expectancy in Korea based on sample cohort database of National Health Insurance Services (국민건강보험 표본코호트DB를 이용한 한국인의 건강기대수명 연구)

  • This paper estimates the health life expectancies for Korean people based on a sample cohort database collected through objective measurements by the National Health Insurance Service. Health life expectancy is estimated using the single-state approach of Sullivan (1971). The 9-order correction factor method of Greville (1945) and Brass-logit model of Brass (1971) are also adopted for unobserved or incompletely observed age-specific morbidity and mortality. Based on the mortality and morbidity estimated from sample cohort DB, men and women in Korea are expected to live a 'healthy life' for 61 and 60 years in 2013, respectively, whereas life expectancies of men and women are 80 and 87, respectively. We also estimate certain disease-free life expectancies for each of genders, income levels, and types of insurance from 2003 to 2013 in Korea. We found that there exists an inequality of healthy life expectancy in Korea for different genders, income levels, and types of insurance.

IT Service Level Management Using Statistical Method: A Case of H Company (통계적 기법을 이용한 정보기술 서비스 수준관리: H 기업 사례)

  • The purpose of IT Service Level Management(SLM) has recently shifted from being a simple financial contract(SLA contract itself) towards a system(SLA management system) for the management of the customer's expectations and the provider's service. The aim of this paper is to introduce and present the systematic SLM using statistical method. We discuss the service level according to two points of view: statistical method and service level management. First, we go into more detail on the objective service level using statistical method. Second, we give an overview of total service level assessment method. The proposed framework enables to measure total service level as IT outsourcing performance quantitatively from the aspect of business strategy.

Simplification of Monte Carlo Techniques for the Estimation of Expected Benefits in Stochastic Ananlysis of Multiple Reservoir Systems (저수지군으로부터 기대편익 산정을 위한 Monte Carlo 기법의 간략화)

  • For the system benefit optimization by considering risk or reliability from a multiple reservoir system using the Monte Carlo technique, many stochastically generated inflow series have to be used for the system analysis. In this study, the stochastically generated inflow series for the multiple reservoir system operation are preprocessed according to the considered system objectives and operating time periods. Through this procedure, several representative inflow series which have discrete probability levels and operation horizons are selected among the thousands of generated inflows. Then a deterministic optimization technique is applied to the power energy estimation from the Han River Reservoirs System which considers five reservoirs in the study. It took much lower computational requirements then using the original Monte Carlo Technique, even though estimated result was almost similar.
