A Study on the Improvement of Surface Waviness by Cutting Force Control (밀링머신의 절삭력 제어를 통한 표면굴곡도 향상에 관한 연구)

  • To improve the surface waviness in the peripheral milling, the feedrate is controlled so that the cutting force measured in the normal direction to the workpiece is constant. A discrete time first order model between the feedrate and the tool deflection is derived for the control. It has been shown by the analysis that the tool deflection is directly related to the feedrate and largely affects the surface waviness during cutting. The experimental results shown that the surface waviness is drastically improved by the proposed methods.

  • In order to develop general CMAC training technique applicable to any CMAC, characteristics of CMAC learning algorithm and training problems of CMAC are studied. Neighborhood Sequential Training technique which is general and free fro CMAC learning interference is proposed. The technique is used to generate mathematical functions and found to be effective.

  • 대상물의 인식 및 위치 검출에는 영상처리기술이 많이 응용되고 있다. 로봇의 작업성능은 대상물의 위치를 얼마나 정확하게 인식하고 검출하느냐가 가장 중요하다. 그러나 작업현장에서 대상물의 배치, 크기 및 형상 등이 일정하지 않고 작업환경 또한 다양하여 외부의 영향을 많기 받기 때문에 정확한 로봇의 시각장치 개발은 매우 중요하다. 영상 시스템을 이용하여 작업하고자 하는 대상체의 3차원 위치 정보를 얻기 위해서 가장 널리 쓰이고 있는 방법이 카메라 2대를 이용할 스테레오 비전이다 하지만 정확한 3차원 정보를 얻기 위해서 세밀한 보정이 필요한 실정이며 보정에 있어서도 두 카메라의 물리적 특성에 의한 오차가 발생한다. An Experimental Study to Reduce the Fraction of Noise Defect of Hoist Gear Boxes (호이스트 기어박스의 소음불량률 저감을 위한 실험적 연구)

  • This paper deals with the experimental research, including measurement and analysis and field survey, on the causes of occurring noise defective gear boxes in hoist production plant in order to reduce the fraction of their occurrence. In this reserch following investigations are performed : measurement and gear-boxes, examination of each machining process of production, measurement and analysis of dimensional accuracy of each part, comparative vibration test with exchanging inaccurate parts. From these investigations, it is found that the machining accuracy of pinion gear tooth thickness is the most sensitive factor of noise problem. By maintaining the tooth thickness error within 0.05 mm tolerance in the gear cutting process, the fraction of noise defective gear-boxes are greatly reduced to less than 2%, where the usual rate of it has been 20-50%.

Compensation Control of Mechanical Deflection Error on SCARA Robot with Constant Pay Load Using Neural Network (일정한 가반 하중이 작용하는 스카라 로봇에 대한 신경망을 이용한 기계적 처짐 오차 보상 제어)

  • This paper presents the compensation of mechanical deflection error in SCARA robot. End of robot gripper is deflected by weight of arm and pay-load. If end of robot gripper is deflected constantly regardless of robot configuration, it is not necessary to consider above mechanical deflection error. However, deflection in end of gripper varies because that moment of each axis varies when robot moves, it affects the relative accuracy. I propose the compensation method of deflection error using neural network. FEM analysis to obtain the deflection of gripper end was carried out on various joint angle, the results is used in neural network teaming. The result by simulation showed that maximum relative accuracy reduced maximum 9.48% on a given working area.

  • A comparison of the temperature distributions along the wall and center of the fin and the heat loss from the fin, computed assuming the fin tip is insulated and assuming it is not insulated in a triangular fin, is performed by the two-dimensional forced analytic method. When the fin tip is not insulated, a comparison between forced analytic method and analytic method is made in the heat loss and temperature along the fin wall. The value of Biot number varies from 0.01 to 1.0. The root temperature and surrounding convection coefficients of the fin are assumed as a constant. The results are (1) the analysis on the triangular fin assuming the fin tip is insulated does not produce a good value as compared to that of not-insulated case as the non-dimensional fin length decreases and as the value of Biot number increases and (2) the errors between forced analytic method and analytic method are very small, but the former method is better for computer running time and accuracy.

  • 원자로용기의 노심대와 노즐의 압력 . 온도 곡선에 대한 배경 및 적용을 살펴보았다. 그러나 원 자로 용기의 실제 압력 . 온도 곡선은 노심대와 노즐 이외에도 플랜지, 수압 및 수밀시험, 노심 임계, 최저운전온도, 계기오차 등을 고려해야 한다. 이 글에서는 시간당 100.deg. F의 가열 및 냉 각에 대서만 고려하였으나 시간당 10.deg. F, 40.deg. F 등 다른 가열 및 냉각률에 대해서도 고 려하여야 한다. 따라서 원자로용기의 실제 압력 . 온도 곡선은 이 글에서 기술한 것보다 훨씬 복 잡하다. 그러나 어느 경우에라도 압력 . 온도 곡선을 구하는 기본적인 이론 및 방법은 이 글에서 기술한 내용에 기초를 두고 있다.

배관계통의 내진해석에 따른 응답조합과 누락질량효과

  • 원자력발전소는 사고시 주변의 인구 및 환경에 미치는 영향의 심각성을 고려하여 가능한 모든 안전조치를 취하여 설계. 건설되도록 하고 있다. 특히 원자로냉각재 계통의 배관이 그러하며 고도의 안전성 및 신뢰성을 확보하기 위하여 지진에 대해서도 구조적인 건전성이 입증되어야 한다. 일반적으로 지진하중에 대한 배관계통의 내진해석에서는 층응답스펙트럼에 의한 모우드 해석 방법이 이용되고 있다. 이 때 내진해석으로 얻어진 응답의 조합에는 신중한 고려가 필요 하다. 즉 배관계통의 특성, 입력지진의 특성, 계산에 고려하는 모우드의 수등을 감안하여 적절한 응답조합이 이루어져야 한다. 본 해설에서는 여러 가지의 응답조합방법과 해석시 고려되는 모 우드의 수를 제한함으로써 발생하는 오차를 보정하기 위한 누락질량효과(missing mass effect)에 대하여 설명하고자 한다. 또 두 가지의 해석모델에 대하여 실제 내진 해석을 수행하여 그 결 과를 비교검토하기로 한다.

An Adaptive Construction of Quadrilateral Finite Elements Using H-Refinement (h-분할법에 의한 사각형 유한요소망의 적응적 구성)

  • An efficient approach to the automatic construction of effective quadrilateral finite element meshes for two-dimensional analysis is presented. The procedure is composed of, firstly, an initial mesh generation and, secondly, an h-version of adaptive refinement based on error analysis. As for an initial mesh generation scheme, a modified looping algorithm has been employed. For the adaptive refinement process, an error indicator obtained by computing the residual error of the equilibrium equations in the energy norm with a relaxation factor has been employed. Examples of mesh generation and self-adaptive mesh improvements are given. These example solutions demonstrate that an effective mesh for a given error tolerance can be obtained in a few steps of the analysis processes.

  • Internal gear is the important part of the planetary reduction gear system. This study aims at developing the numerical analysis method for design of spherical hob to manufacture internal gear. Methods of calculation of hob tooth profile, generating tooth profile and tooth profile errors such as the errors of pressure angle, tooth thickness and pitch of spherical hob must be made smaller than those of standard tooth profile. And, the smaller the pressure angle and the number of equivalent pinion tooth become, the larger the tooth profile errors are. One design example of spherical hob is proposed.
