The Power and Knowledge are attractive materials that could be used in all of cultural content genre with storytelling. Because he, whether or not own knowledge, could be an important tool of narrative strategy for popularity keeping with a confrontation and conflict. This study aimed to explore the power and knowledge appearing in . For this purpose, it used the structuralistic methodologies of Saussure and Levi-Strauss, analyzing binary oppositions between the characters mainly connected with the knowledge and power. Three categories was analytic object, 'Place(abbey, book repository)' 'Debate on laughter', 'The argument for heresy.' As a result, we found the three materials had narrative strategy fully following binary oppositional structure. In that movie, which was deployed in a basis with knowledge and power, we eventually found that contemporary reality veiled the truth was paradoxically revealed with these narrative strategy. And we confirmed that it was very important the attribute of knowledge and power in narrative processing.

In order to explore the power process, a hypothetical model which explains the interrelationships among 3 marital power(traditional, egalitarian, personal), 3 influence strategies(reward, coercion, emotional), and 2 negative conflict resolution styles(attack vs. avoidance) was developed. In order to examine the gender differences, male model and female model were developed separately and compared. Using the data collected from 182 males and 196 females, the hypothetical model was tested. For data analysis, SEM was used. As a result, 3 common paths were found: Greater use of emotional influence strategy increased attack as well as avoidance. Greater egalitarian power increased reward. Egalitalian power affected the use of coercion, but the direction was opposed: male's egalitarian power decreased coercion, while female's egalitarian power increased it. Except these, the analyses revealed the substantial differences between male and female. Based on the findings, the ways to reduce attack and avoidance, and theoretical implications were discussed.

A controlled group is closed compared to other organizations, which hinders collection of data and accurate analysis, so that it is hard to evaluate a controlled group's power structure and predict future changes using usual analytical methods including sociological approach. Analyzing a controlled group using SNA can allow for evaluation of inner power structure by revealing the relationships between members and identifying members with central roles given limited data. In this study, in order to evaluate changes in power structure, time-sequential SNA research was conducted by analyzing eigenvector centrality, which reflects individual influence and reveals the overall power structure. The result showed an improvement in accuracy compared to other centralities that contain individual degree or closeness, and made it possible to presume structural changes such as promotion or purge of a member.

Currently the super power of department stores over their tenants has mentioned in Korean apparel newspapers very often. It may be the one that the government in fashion industry has not delved into the relationship between department stores and their tenants. The aim in here is to look at the conceptual framework of power based on the retail power oriented and to explain current issues with its theoretical backgrounds. Due to the inherent of retailer power oriented, this study involves not only in French and Raven's power sources but also in positioning power source that is the ability of allocating the location and adjusting size of the store. 235 samples are tested through Lisrel. The results of statistical analysis show that: The power of department store over that perceived by the tenant has negatively influenced countervailing power of the tenant upon department store. The coercive power sources of department store have positively influenced the power of department store over that perceived by the tenant while the non-coercive power sources have not significantly influenced on it. The countervailing power of the tenant has positively influenced the non-coercive power sources of department store perceived by the tenant. On the other hand, the countervailing power of the tenant has not significantly influenced the coercive power sources of department store perceived by the tenant. The implication of these results is that the retailer oriented power sources and its implements differs from the manufacturer oriented ones in the framework of power. A great deal more research is required in order that the relationship between department store and its tenants can be better understood.

This study aimed at developing and validating two standardized measures, 'power controllability', and 'power desirability', which can be utilized to categorize power relationships among the school youth. In order to identify initial items for the measures researchers conducted individual as well as focus group interviews with middle and high school students. School teachers and other school related professionals involved in ensuring both the face validity and the content validity of the initial items. For the finally selected items both exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses have been executed with the sample of 1,822 students attending elementary, middle, and high schools in the metropolitan area of Seoul, Korea. To test the validity of the confirmed factor structure of the measures the new sample of 348 middle school students were employed from the metropolitan area. Both construct validity and reliability were calculated from the validity test sample. Based on the two developed measures 4 types of power relationship were identified among the students. The four types of power relationship turned out to predict well the roles that students take in the field of school violence.

This study aims to analyze the film "Never Let Me" by human value which is to be realized in the social structure suppressed by the power of life and the power of discipline in Foucault 's power theory. The clones adapt role as organ donator without resistance and there is no conflict between original and copy. Instead of preexistence novel and movie that is set in future, it is a form of past retrospect from the 1970s to 1990s. having emotions, They find independence ego and realize value of life in finite living by depending relation or undergoing loss.

This study is concerned with analysing complexity, flexibility and dynamism of social discoursive space. The developmental process of social discourse is analogous to that of a spatial structure of social discourse. Post-capitalist society has seen New-Liberalism and New-Conservatism have become dominant, resulting in the deterioration of the cultural politics of citizenship. It is argued that the position of otherness, in which those binary structures (inside/outside or centre/margin) collide and collapse, is where subversive discourse can emerge to dominant discursive power. Furthermore, it is necessary to democratize social discursive space, through which the Other becomes able to. participate in the social production, distribution and consumption of social discourse.
