Design and Implementation of the Traffic and Travel Information Service for Terrestrial DMB System (T-DMB에서의 교통여행정보서비스 설계 및 구현)

  • DMB video/audio service was successfully launched. DMB data service is a matter of primary concern now. The TTI(Traffic and Travel Information) service is considered as a killer application of the data service. Tn this paper, we propose a method for design and implementation of the broadcasting system for TTI service. The proposed TTI service system consists of an authoring tool, the DB module, the Transmission module and Monitoring module. This system satisfies the national TTA standards of the Traffic and Travel Information data services for terrestrial DMB; TPEG(Transport Protocol Experts Group) platform. The system was designed to support real-time automatic transmission for CTT and CTT SUM, and non real-time authoring & automatic transmission for POI and SDI, and was focused on the capability to make high-quality contents efficiently and to send them to the data inserter reliably. The performance of the implemented system was proven through the conformance tests with the various commercial receivers. After the continuous upgrade, the system is being used in commercial service.

To Manage Use-Data of Nation-wide Transportation Card, Interoperable Traffic Information Collection System Development (전국호환 교통카드 이용정보의 유통관리를 위한 호환 교통정보집계시스템 구축)

  • The existing survey of the actual use relevant transportation, implemented in order to reflect transportation policy, has been performed for users by researcher directly, or thereby analysing the data of particular date-oriented of transportation card business's content so that such method have many problems. To solve such problem, we developed a new system, Interoperable Traffic Information Collection System which include several functions of effective collecting of transportation use-data created from the Nation-wide Interoperable Transportation System, accurate counting and easy inquiry. This system consists of Link-server to collect and count for transportation use-data, DB-server to store for this data and Inquiry terminal to search for the information needed. To verify for developed this system, we run test-bed by connection between this system and the Nation-wide Interoperable Transportation System developed by the KOREA Financial Telecommunications & Clearings, the KORAIL NETWORKS and the HiPlusCard. And through result of test-bed, we proved that Interoperable Traffic Information Collection System practically works well. Thus we can look for systematic reflect of reliable information.

Implementation of Location-Based Traffic Information Service System (위치기반 교통정보 서비스 시스템 구현)

  • This paper suggested a location-based traffic information service system using TPEG and GIS. Measurement technique, location server, applied service technique, and linkage technique with database were used to provide the location-based traffic information service. In particular, TPEG-RTM includes location information and load traffic message. The location information to be included in each message displayed a specific point, section or region limit of the load. Actually, because it was impossible to receive data using TPEG receiver, a proposed program included in this paper was used to produce an arbitrary database and read it, Also, TPEG event happened time was indicated on the map for matching test of a TPEG message and WGS84 coordinate, and finally it was verified with art example of a vehicle approaching to an event happened place.

  • 교량유지관리 업무는 교량의 건설(신설), 노후교량의 개축, 교통량 증가에 따른 교량의 확장, 보수를 통한 원상복구, 또한 보수기록의 보관문제, 기존교량의 계속적인 점검 및 조사 등으로 분류된다. 이러한 문제를 전산화 하는 것은 필요항목들을 특성별로 분류하여 각 항목 등에 대한 데이타베이스를 구축하고 교량의 점검 및 조사 등을 통하여 교량의 손상상태를 파악함은 물론 개축, 보수, 확장, 신설 등에 대한 판정 및 그 우선순위를 제시하여 주는 의사결정시스템 개발이다. 본 고에서는 교량관리업무를 전산화하기 위해 한국건설기술연구원에서 개발한 교량관리용 DB(DATA BASE)시스템에 대하여 간략히 소개하고자 한다.

  • In up-to-date information anger time it is caused by with business of traffic accident control and analysis and two time it accomplishes a business. National Police Office which controls a traffic accident does not execute an up-to-date technique. And, it is working yet by the hand, There is to traffic accident analysis and the research regarding the analysis against the research which it follows in geography element and composition element and an accident cause is weak. Consequently, effectively establishment and it enforces a traffic safety policy and from the hazard which it evaluates traffic accident data the system and scientific analysis against a traffic accident occurrence cause and a feature in basic must become accomplished. The research which it sees constructs a traffic accident data in GIS base. It is like that, it uses the PDA where is not the collection of data of text form in existing and at real-time it converts store and an accident data rightly in standard traffic accident data form and it will be able to manage. It was related with a space data peculiarity and the research regarding the system development with the geography analysis data about an accident cause under manifesting it accomplished.

  • 조선기술의 발달과 해운업체의 요구로 선박이 점차 고속화 대형화됨에 따라 선박의 통항량은 매년 증가하고 있으며, 해양사고의 위험도 함께 높아지고 있다. 또한 최근 들어 어선이나 예선 등 소형선도 선박자동식별장치(AIS;Automatic Identification System)를 설치하면서 관제대상 선박은 시간이 갈수록 증가하고 있으며, 이로 인한 관제사의 업무량 및 스트레스도 증가하는 실정이다. 그러나 현재 관제센터에서 관제운영을 위해 사용중인 관제시스템을 제외하고는 관제사의 업무량을 효과적으로 감소시키고 지원할 수 있는 시스템은 연구된 바가 없다. 이 연구에서는 전자해도 기반의 관제사 지원 시스템의 주요 기능 중 관제정보 데이터베이스를 구축하여 해양사고를 방지할 수 있는 관제통계분석 기능에 대한 개념, 주요기능 및 활용방안에 대하여 모색하여 보았다.

  • 본 논문에서는 기존 철도 운영 및 관리 모니터링 시스템 플랫폼을 활용하여 수집한 소음, 진동 데이터들을 데이터 마이닝 하는 전 과정을 다루고 있다. 데이터 마이닝 과정은 python에서 제공하는 라이브러리를 사용하여 진행되었으며 데이터 저장, 정제, 분석 및 시각화 단계로 구성된다. 본 논문 및 이어질 후속 연구는 철도 사고 예방을 위한 아키텍처 설계에 유의미한 기여가 가능할 것이다.

  • This paper investigates some critical errors influencing travel demand estimation in Korea Transportation Data Base (KTDB), and through this investigation reasonable traffic analysis zone (TAZ) size and internal trips ratio are analyzed. With varying zone size, the accuracy of travel demand estimation is studied and appropriate level of zone size in KTDB is also presented. For this purpose zonal structure consisting of location of zone centroid, number of centroid connecters has been constructed by social economic index, and then some descriptive statistical analyses such as F-test, coefficient of correlation are performed. From the results, this paper shows that the optimum levels of zone system were various according to the order and capacity of roads, and also shows that the smaller TAZ, the less error in this research. In conclusion, in order to improve accuracy of traffic demand estimation it is necessary to make zone size smaller.

Automatic Measurement Method of Traffic Signs Using Image Recognition and Photogrammetry Technology (영상인식과 사진측량 기술을 이용한 교통표지 자동측정 방법)

  • Recently, more accurate database information of facilities is being required, with the increase in importance of urban road facility management. Therefore, this study proposed how to automatically detect particular traffic signs necessary for efficient construction of road facility DB. For this study, central locations of facilities were searched, after recognition and automatic detection of particular traffic signs through an image. Then, coordinate values of traffic signs calculated in the study were compared with real coordinate values, in order to evaluate the accuracy of traffic sign locations which were finally detected. Computer vision technology was used in recognizing and detecting traffic signs through OPEN CV-based coding, and photogrammetry was used in calculating accurate locations of detected traffic signs. For the experiment, circular road signal(No Parking) and triangular road signal(Crosswalk) were chosen out of various kinds of road signals. The research result showed that the circular road signal had a nearly 50cm error value, and the triangular road signal had a nearly 60cm error value, when comparing the calculated coordinates with the real coordinates. Though this result is not satisfactory, it is considered that there would be no problem to find locations of traffic signs.

Constructing Database and Social Experiment of Scenic Byway Using the Multi-Transportation of Korea and Japan (복합교통수단을 이용한 한·일 Scenic Byway의 DB구축 및 실현에 대한 과제)

  • This study intends to construct scenic byway database and to examine and suggest social experiment of scenic byway. As basis work for the experiment of the scenic byway, we build database by using ITS standard node link management system. The DB includes scenic byway routes of Korea and Japan. The analyses show that the scenic byway in both nations consists of roads, reservation, road sign, vehicle number plate, and it was found that infrastructure and system are inadequate for scenic byway. These experiment can be effectively used for scenic byway in Korea and Japan as the basis data. The results of this experiment will be useful for plan and develop a scenic byway.
