A Study on the Effect of EPL on Programing, Computing Thinking and Problem Solving Ability of Programing Education (EPL이 프로그래밍 교육의 프로그래밍, 컴퓨팅사고력 및 문제해결력에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, it is practically difficult to obtain programming language education without having an algorithmic thinking ability, computing thinking ability, and problem solving ability of students with relatively low basic education. The results showed that students who took program language education in parallel with the EPL(Educational Programing Language), Scratch, compared to without using Scratch found to be helpful in improving their programming amd computing thinking ability, and problem-solving abilities as well as their satisfaction. This not only gave students confidence in their hard-thinking programming practices, but also helped prevent them from falling out of the middle.

A Proposal for the Development of Online Graduate School for Lifelong Education (평생교육을 위한 온라인 대학원 발전방안 제안)

  • This study requires a new paradigm for universities in line with the global pandemic and the 4th industrial revolution. Accordingly, we propose an educational plan for the H university online graduate school in Korea. As a research method, the implications of scholars and experts on future education were synthesized, and the cases of overseas universities using it were analyzed to propose an online graduate school education plan. As a result of the study, online graduate school needs diversity as a venue for providing new opportunities as lifelong education, and to realize this, they use a microcredit. Blockchain technology is introduced so that microcredit can be transparently verified. In addition, to correspond to various convergence major programs and further develop them, problem-solving-oriented teaching methods enhance students' convergent skills as well as active learning and interaction. More detailed curriculum research at online graduate schools is needed in the future, and we hope that you will contribute to the development of online graduate school education based on this study.

The Development of STEAM Program with the Unit 'Energy and Transportation Technology' on the Subject of Technology.Home Economics (기술.가정 교과 '에너지와 수송 기술' 단원에서 활용할 STEAM 프로그램 개발)

  • The purpose of this research is to provide a desirable case of STEAM education utilizing 'Energy and Transportation Technology' unit on the subject of technology home economics. The middle school students learned with the integrated approach based on STEAM integrated education, and through production process they had the opportunity for application and expression in diverse forms. The results of this process to achieve the purpose are as follows. First, as the procedural model to develop STEAM program utilizing 'Energy and Transportation Technology' unit on the subject of technology home economics, the five stages: preparation, development, verification, practice, and evaluation, were presented. The preparation stage was composed of requirement analysis, the selection of program subject, and STEAM program curriculum analysis, the selection and organization of STEAM program lesson. The development stage was composed of the development of lesson plan, multimedia teaching materials, worksheet and worksheet answer key. In the verification stage, the verification of validity by experts was conducted, and in the practice stage, the developed program was applied to the middle school students in the educational field, and in the evaluation stage, based on the evaluations received from learners and teachers, it was revised and supplemented. Second, the STEAM program was developed into the program summary map, lesson plan, multimedia teaching materials, worksheet and worksheet answer, etc., and after the validity was secured through experts' verification, it was revised and supplemented and applied to actual classes. Third, the results of the learners' evaluation of the developed STEAM program showed that the degree of satisfaction with the program was high with the average score of the entire questions being 4.00 on a five-point scale. As the teachers also evaluated the developed STEAM program as very effective, the opinions of learners and teachers were collected and the program was finally improved and completed.

An Instructional Learning Effectiveness of Network Concept by Problem-Oriented Learning for Computer Education in Elementary Schools (초등컴퓨터 교육에서 문제중심 학습을 이용한 네트워크 개념의 교수학습 효과)

  • Elementary school students have a great deal of interest in Internet games which provide integrated multimedia and so they become to know well the terminology used in network such as game server, Internet service, transfer time, etc. In addition, they are used to understand the technological phenomena occurring in internet. They, however, have difficulty understanding concepts and principles regarding the phenomena mentioned above because the educational contents in elementary school computer textbooks consist of only ICT education and its applications, i.e., tool-based technology. In this paper, we apply educational learning on network concepts which are the basis on the internet to classroom instruction by using problem oriented models. We conclude that the educational contents in elementary school computer education should be transferred to the area with principles and concepts.

  • The purpose of this study was to apply a variety of criteria to analyzing mobile applications for early childhood education, which are now available in application market, and was also to explore how the developmental characteristics and multimedia content characteristics of early childhood could be applied to mobile applications for early childhood education. To meet these purposes, this study targeted total 61 applications for infancy education in terms of mobile applications loaded on online education categories such as iPhone App Store and Android Market. Based on analytic criteria on the foundation of content type by learning type, cognitive load theory and multimedia design principle, this study analyzed those applications for early childhood. As a result, it was found that there were needs to develop a little more various categories of applications, and there were also needs to develop such applications that they can make the best use of smart phone's performance, comply with multimedia design principles but avoid any imprudent use of multimedia.

  • KT 메가패스를 기반으로 하는 홈엔(HomeN) 미디어 서비스가 신규 서비스 추가 및 UI개선으로 새롭게 개발되었다. 홈엔의 신규 서비스중에 하나인 교육/문화 전문채널 서비스는 고객에게 TV기반의 EOD 온라인서비스를 제공함으로써 편리한 학습환경을 제공하고 홈네트워크 서비스의 활용도 향상에 기여할 수 있을 것이다. 따라서 본고에서는 교육/문화 전문채널 서비스의 유형 및 서비스 정책, 서비스 플랫폼 구성을 소개하고 향후 홈엔 전문채널 서비스의 나아가야할 방향을 조망해보고자 한다.

  • With the development of internet and networking technology, on-line remote educations in many area are being experimented. As on-line remote educations become more common, many people make multimedia contents for educational purpose. We designed and implemented a lecture authoring tool which provide easy way to build educational multimedia contents. We implemented the authoring tool with Java JMF, which can be executed any computer hardware. The purpose of this paper is to share the experience of implementing authoring tool and the implementation result of the authoring tool using Java JMF.

  • 교육정보화 사업의 일환으로 각 교실마다 교단선진화 기기라 불리는 장비들이 널리 보급되었다. 그 중에서도 대형 프로젝션 TV의 도입과 초고속 통신망의 발달은 웹과 멀티미디어 시디롬 자료를 교실 안으로 불러들이는 데 큰 역할을 했으며 거의 모든 교과에서 활용되고 있다. 특히 컴퓨터 수업의 경우 일대일 개인지도가 불가능한 다인수 학급에서는 프로젝션 TV로 프리젠테이션하면서 수업을 진행하는 경우가 대부분이다. 그러나 이러한 경우에도 모든 학생들에게 프리젠테이션 화면이 잘 보이지는 않으며 말로만 설명하기에 부족한 부분도 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 여러 가지 프로젠테이션 보조 프로그램들의 기능을 분석해보고 컴퓨터 수업을 진행하는 교사들이 효과적으로 프리젠테이션 할 수 있는 프로그램을 설계 개발하고자 한다.

  • 기존 오프라인 콘텐츠는 텍스트 중심의 정보량과 신속성 등의 한계로 교육 발전에 역부족이다. 그러나 최근에는 시 공간의 제약을 탈피한 열린 학습을 제공하여 교육의 장을 확대할 수 있으며, 또한 교육의 기회를 넓힐 수 있는 무선 단말기 학습 시스템의 사용범위를 확장시키고 있다. 본 논문에서 모바일 기기를 이용하는 영어 학습 콘텐츠는 기존의 다양한 오프라인 콘텐츠에 온라인 정보 태그를 첨가함으로써, 기존의 콘텐츠에 동적인 인터랙션과 다양한 멀티미디어 정보를 융합할 수 있는 장점으로, 정적인 2차원 시각 정보만을 제공하는 기존 오프라인 책의 활용범위를 넓힌 학습 콘텐츠이다.
