The Analysis on Teaching and Learning Activities Using Mobile Devices in Higher Education (모바일기기를 활용한 대학 수업 활동 분석)

  • The purpose of this paper was to examine the teaching and learning activities using mobiles devices in a university. We analyzed the instructional methods, instructional strategies, devices types, and evaluation activities. In addition, we conducted deep interviews with the students who used the mobile devices in terms of their understanding on the mobile learning, mobile learning methods, evaluation methods, difficulties and their expectations. These findings will be used to improve the quality of the teaching and learning methods using mobile devices in higher education.

  • This study is the content about the development of ICT(Information and Communication Technology) teaching-learning model to support the korean language learning. Firstly, we proposed 3 types on developing models for ICT teaching-learning in korean language learning, we developed 4 ICT teaching-learning models based on analysing the curriculum of korean language course and studying the preceding works. Moreover we offered the strategies for applying ICT teaching-learning models with korean language learning. The developed 4 ICT teaching-learning models in this study are expected that ICT will use to design ICT teaching-learning model in another courses and teachers take advantage of the 4 models in korean lesson effectively.

  • 본 논문에서는 IT관련 실습 교과목에서 프로젝트, 프로그래밍, 문제풀이 등의 과제가 주어졌을 경우에 학습능력을 고양시킬 수 있는 팀별 혼합학습을 적용할 수 있도록 학습자 및 교수자 전략안과 교수/학습관리시스템을 제시하였다. 이에 따라 학습자활동, 교수자활동, 운영자활동을 통해 팀별 혼합학습 전략안을 도출하고, 전략안 및 시스템의 흐름도에 따른 팀별 혼합학습 시스템의 모형을 설계하였다.

  • This study aims to improve the quality of classes by analyzing the role and learning achievement of instructors in programming subjects for non-major students. In order to improve the quality of university education, universities provide various programs to strengthen the teaching capacity of instructors. Ultimately, in order to improve the quality of classes, instructors increase student participation in classes, respond sincerely to students' inquiries, and provide feedback that can assist students in various situations that occur during class and learning, thereby improving class satisfaction and achievement. should try to improve. In this paper, based on the teaching method, learning achievement, and teacher role satisfaction survey conducted in the liberal arts programming course of K University, we study the influence of the teacher's role on the quality improvement of the class. Examine the relationship with satisfaction.

The effect of learner-centered instruction on academic stress: Focusing on the mediating effects of learning motivation and growth beliefs (학습자 중심 교수가 학업스트레스에 미치는 영향: 학습동기와 성장신념의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • This study aims to demonstrate the longitudinal structural relationship between learner-centered instruction, learning motivation, growth beliefs, and academic stress. In particular, this study was carried out to focus on the structural effect of the related variables using data from the 3rd to 5th year of the Gyeonggi Education Panel Study. Results showed that while learner-centered instruction positively predicted both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation of learners, it predicted the former better. In addition, learner-centered instruction influenced academic stress through motivation, both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation were found to increase stress. Further, growth beliefs mediated motivation with learner-centered instruction; specifically, learner-centered instruction influenced learners' positive beliefs about growth, and learners who had growth beliefs had intrinsic motivation. At the same time, external motivation tended to be lower for learners who believed in the possibility of growth. Finally, the perceptions of learner-centered instruction affected academic stress through changes in growth beliefs. However, the other 3 factors (learner-centered instruction, learning motivation, and academic stress) were not statistically significant. In conclusion, learner-centered instruction was able to mitigate academic stress, demonstrating that this relationship is influenced by changes in growth beliefs rather than learning motivation, as previously studied. These results suggest that learners' perceptions and beliefs contribute to not only intrinsic motivation but also academic stress. Furthermore, it is suggested that learners need to change their learning environments in positive ways.

An Implementation and Design Web-Based Instruction-Learning System Using Web Agent (웹 에이전트를 이용한 웹기반 교수-학습 시스템의 설계 및 개발)

  • Recently, the current trend for computer based learning is moving from CAI environment to WBI environment. Most web documents for WBI learning are collected by aid of search engine. Instructors use those documents as learning materials after they evaluate availability of retrieved web documents. But, this method has the following problems. First, we search repeatedly the web documents selected by instructor. Second, there is a need for another course of instruction design in order to suggest the web documents for learner. Third, it is very difficult to analyze for relevance between the web documents and test results. In this work, we suggest WAILS(Web Agent Instruction Learning System) that retrieves web documents for WBI learning and guides learning course for learners. WAILS collects web documents for WBI learning by aid of web agent. Then, instructors can evaluate them and suggest to learners by using instruction-learning generating machine. Instructors retrieve web documents and the instruction-learning design at the same time. This can facilitate WBI learning.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze and match future teaching-learning methods with learning-space types as customized not only by school grade or grade groups, but also by learning modality. As a result, the following six teaching-learning methods were identified as future teaching-learning methods: flipped learning, deeper learning, collaborative learning, learning through immersive virtual reality, playful learning, and learning through OER(Open Educational Resources). There were also six learning-space types that were identified: playing and discovering space, a making and placement space, a presentation and sharing space, a space for independent study, space as a stage, and space as content(See Tables 8 and 11). Learning-space types and future teaching-learning methods were matched with 22 different types of learning modalities based on the presented degree of utilization by school grade or grade groups(See Table 13).

  • The purposes of the study were to identify the concept of teaching portfolios, learning portfolios, and its contents and to investigate the foreign universities' application of teaching and learning portfolios on their professorship and teaching achievement evaluation. To have rationale for the study, literature review and data collection methodology were hired. The concept of teaching and learning portfolios have been used in many ways of meaning as well as in multiple approach in teaching-learning processes. The selected ten foreign universities have had teaching and learning portfolios on their professorship and teaching achievement evaluation as a way of promotion and or incentives to employment decisions. On the other hand, domestic universities do not have the system yet, or they are launching it to enact with infusing engineering program. It is also proposed that to improve the quality of the education program, learning portfolios should be used much more than lecture plan used. Learning portfolios should be developed by learners to coping with the teaching portfolio in all teaching and learning processes.

  • 현재 제 7차 교육과정에서는 1학년부터 정보통신소양교육이 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 컴퓨터 교수-학습방법에 대한 체계적인 논의가 다른 일반 교과에 비해 대단히 부족하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 컴퓨터 교육의 특수성을 고려하여 교육현실에 맞는 교수학습방법 가운데 하나로 STAD협동학습모형을 적용한 정보통신소양교육의 교수학습 방안을 제시 하였다. STAD협동학습모형을 적용한 교수학습방법과 전통적 교수학습방법을 서로 비교하기 위해 학업 성취도, 활용도 면에서 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고자 한다.

Analysis of Web Services for Teaching and Learning Support in Health Specialized College (보건 특화 전문대학의 교수학습지원 웹서비스 분석)

  • This study analyzed the teaching and learning support web services of health-specialized colleges. It was searched for educational innovation and teaching and learning support on the portal site. Web services related to teaching and learning at eight health-specialized colleges were classified into five categories. CTL web service support, teaching support, learning support, CTL introduction, and differentiated web services were analyzed. Teaching and learning support and CTL introduction web services were subdivided and operated, and web services that increased access to teaching and learning support were provided to teachers and students by preparing for national exams. Students at health-specialized colleges must pass the national examination to get a job, and the quality of teaching and learning needs to be improved. Therefore, the excellence of providing teaching and learning programs is required for junior college teachers and students. Based on this study, it is expected to improve the quality of web services for teaching and learning support in specialized health colleges.
