  • In recent years, while the demand for electricity is rapidly increasing, fire accidents due to negligence in management of switchboards. In particular, switchboards for industrial and electrical resource control can cause serious problems. Thus, for the safety management of power switchboard, a secondary response is conducted to control firing when a specific condition value is satisfied, but in this case, it is highly likely that a considerable amount of time has elapsed after firing. In this paper, we propose a method to acquire big data for the development of a switchboard temperature and power control system that can actively respond to the current situation by monitoring and learning the temperature of the switchboard's busbar connection in real time. Specifically, a method for periodically acquiring and managing data such as temperature and power from various scattered sensors is proposed.

  • Many systems that use images through object recognition using deep learning have provided various solutions beyond the existing methods. Many studies have proven its usability, and the actual control system shows the possibility of using it to make people's work more convenient. Many studies have proven its usability, and actual control systems make human tasks more convenient and show possible. However, with hardware-intensive performance, the development of models is facing some limitations, and the ease with the use and additional utilization of many unupdated models is falling. In this paper, we propose how to increase utilization and accuracy by providing additional information on the emotional regions of colors and objects by utilizing learning and weights from HSV color histograms of local image data recognized after conventional stereotyped object recognition results.

  • Sharing both locations and positions of ships makes it possible to utilize critical item for their safe and efficient navigation in such diversifying meantime environments. AIS is the representative technology for the sharing solutions. The AIS is even used in airspace and ground stations, so that AIS could facilitate the ships' safety navigation and their prevention/rescue from endangers. Due to AIS's many advantages, IMO(International Maritime Organization) made adapting the AIS mandatory for international passenger ships and the ships that are over than 300 tons. AIS uses VHF band areas for transmitting information and the information can be propagated to several hundreds km in range. Due to the large range, AIS monitoring system can acquire huge number of ships, which makes system performance lower and busier. In this paper, we propose the strategy of AIS information extraction for efficient monitoring system. Thus, the monitoring system has higher processing performance and lower network usage. As well as, the proposal affects the monitoring system has more capacity to include other systems' targets, in result.

  • In the maritime digital forensic part, it is very important and difficult process that analysis of data and information with vessel navigation system's binary log data for situation awareness of maritime accident. In recent years, analysis of vessel's navigation system's trajectory information is an essential element of maritime accident investigation. So, we made an experiment about corruption with various memory device in navigation system. The analysis of corruption test in seawater give us important information about the valid pulling time of sunken ship for acquirement useful trajectory information.

  • Recently, there is an increasing demand to quickly identify changes in the field by applying Digital-twin for on-site management control and analyzing changes in real-time data transmitted. When technologies such as Digital-twin are applied, early problem response and quick response to situations are possible. However, in order to maximize the advantages of digital twin technology, a method of collecting and managing sensor data that collects field information at an appropriate period is required. need. In addition, it is necessary to consider how sensor information is transmitted to each management domain and how to identify and respond to abnormal situations so that it can be visualized for each management purpose. In this paper, we propose a method for collecting heterogeneous sensor information and related system configuration for on-site inspection management based on digital twin.

  • Due to the characteristics of ship structure, the compartment structure is complicated and narrow, so safety accidents frequently occur during the work process. The main causes of accidents include structural collisions, falling objects, toxic substance leaks, fires, explosions, asphyxiation, and more. Understanding the on-site conditions of workers during accidents is crucial for mitigating damages. In order to ensure safety, the on-site situation is monitored using CCTV in the ship, but it is difficult to prevent accidents with the existing method. To address this issue, a smart safety helmet equipped with location identification and voice/video communication capabilities is being developed as a safety technology. Additionally, the smart safety helmet incorporates environmental sensors for temperature, humidity, vibration, noise, tilt (gyro sensor), and gas detection within the work area. These sensors can notify workers wearing the smart safety helmet of hazardous situations. By utilizing the smart safety helmet and environmental sensors, the safety of workers aboard ships can be enhanced.

  • In this paper, we present a system for undesignated cultural heritage management and real-time theft chase, which uses flash-based large-capacity storage. The proposed system is composed of 3 parts, such as a cultural management device, a flash-based server, and a monitoring service for managing cultural heritages and chasing thefts using IoT technologies. However flash-based storage needs methods to overcome the limited lifespan. Therefore, in this paper, we present a system, which uses the disk buffer in flash-based storage to overcome the disadvantage, and evaluate the system performance in various environments. In our experiments, LRU policy shows the number of direct writes in the flash-based storage by 10.7% on average compared with CLOCK and FCFS.

  • This paper introduces an emergency response system in urban air mobility scenarios. A biometric responsive smartwatch was designed to monitor passengers' real-time heart rates. When an anomaly was detected, the system would send an alert via Morse code vibration and voice notification. It was integrated with the assumed control system of the ROS environment and communicates to implement a system for generating the shortest path for emergency landing to a nearby vertical port during urban air mobility operations. System stability was verified through high-fidelity simulation environments and testing based on actual geographic locations. Our technology improved the reliability and convenience of urban air mobility, demonstrating its effectiveness through simulations and tests in real-world scenarios.
