The Effects of Task Value, Twitter Self-efficacy, and Social Presence on Learning Satisfaction on Twitter Discussion (트위터(Twitter)를 활용한 토론학습에서 과제가치, 트위터효능감과 사회적 실재감이 학습만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate how task value, twitter self-efficacy, and social presence affect learning satisfaction on twitter discussion. In addition, this study examined the mediating effects of social presence. Participants were 46 undergraduate students in A university in Seoul, Korea. They responded the following surveys: task value, twitter self-efficacy, social presence, and learning satisfaction. Baron & Kenny (1986)'s mediation analysis approach with correlation and multiple regression analyses were applied to this study. Findings showed the significant effects of task value, twitter self-efficacy, and social presence on satisfaction on twitter discussion. In addition, social presence mediated task value, twitter self-efficacy, and satisfaction. These results suggest that the twitter discussion should be designed to accommodate different learners characteristics such as task value and twitter self-efficacy and promote greater social presence between learners.

The Influence of Task Value on Class Participation in Nursing Students: Mediating Effect of Academic Self-efficacy (간호대학생의 과제가치가 수업참여도에 미치는 영향: 학업적 자기효능감 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effect of academic self-efficacy in the process that nursing students' task value affects class participation. The subjects of this study were 161 second-year students of the Department of Nursing at K University located in G city, and the data collection period was from October 5 to October 14, 2020. The mediating effect of academic self-efficacy in the relationship between task value and class participation was analyzed using Baron and Kenny's 3-step mediating effect verification procedure using simple and multiple regression analysis and the statistical significance of mediating effects was verified by the Sobel test. As a result of this study, task value and academic self-efficacy were major factors influencing class participation, and academic self-efficacy was found to be a significant partial mediating variable in the relationship between task value and class participation. These factors explained 55% of class participation. In order to increase learners' class participation, an integrated approach that can improve task value and academic self-efficacy is needed.

  • Improvements on the incumbent R&D project management structure and performance evaluation criteria in the telecommunication and broadcasting area have been called for. There have been attempts to develop alternative R&D project performance evaluation criteria. In an attempt to develop an alternative measure, this study integrates two different perspectives on R&D projects and various criteria currently being used by many foreign and domestic institutes. As a result, we have developed an alternative R&D project performance evaluation instrument. Then, we have applied the instrument to Korean cases in order to validate it. The new R&D project performance evaluation criteria can contribute to an improvement on the management of R&D projects in the telecommunication and broadcasting area.

4차 산업혁명 관련 기술의 정부R&D과제 현황과 관심도 분석 -그래핀, 빅데이터, 바이오마커를 중심으로

  • 바야흐로 4차 산업혁명의 시대가 도래하면서, 4차 산업혁명과 관련된 기술에 대한 관심 또한 나날이 높아져 가고 있다. 이런 시대적 상황에 맞춰, 본 연구에서는 웹 검색트래픽을 활용하여 4차 산업혁명 관련 기술의 국내 외 트렌드를 비교하고 관련된 기술에 대한 국내 정부R&D 과제 현황에 대해 분석해 보고자 한다. 본 분석은 먼저 관련 기술에 대한 정부 R&D 현황 과제 현황을 네트워크 분석하고 분석된 기술을 4차 산업혁명의 3가지 카테고리로 구분한다. 이후 카테고리별로 선별된 각각의 기술에 대해 구글의 웹 검색트래픽을 활용하여 관련된 기술의 국내 외 트렌드를 비교 분석한다. 본 연구를 통해 4차 산업혁명 관련 기술에 대한 과거와 현재의 관심 동향을 확인할 수 있을 것으로 예상된다. 또한, 해당 기술과 관련된 정부 R&D 과제 현황을 네트워크 분석하고 시각화하여 4차 산업혁명 관련 R&D 현황에 대한 직관적인 정보를 제공하고자 한다. 본 연구는 인류 최대의 혁명으로 정의되는 4차 산업혁명 기술에 대한 국내 외 트렌드 정보와 함께 현재까지 진행되어온 정부의 R&D 현황을 직관적으로 볼 수 있게 제공함으로써, 4차 산업혁명과 함께 다가오는 미래에 대한 올바른 정책 방향 설정에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

Articles were analyzed in the aspects of research subjects, research methods, author types, and research funds. The writer discussed the problems shown in the articles and suggested some recommendations for the development of research.

  • In this paper, the modeling of phenomena that occurs in the brain related language was designed and developed the second language proficiency method. This method based on cognitive ability test in cognitive psychology that is the lexical decision task, the priming task and the verbal span task. The lexical decision task involves measuring how quickly decide stimuli as words or nonwords. This task is divided reading and listening according to stimulus type to the details. The priming task finds the output of the language. This task is divided the translation-priming and the semantic-priming according to stimulus type. The verbal span task finds the short term memory. In this paper, we propose the second language proficiency measurement method using the linguistics cognitive ability of the learner about the second language.

An Analysis of Junior High School Students' Open Investigation into Electricity and Magnetism in Two Kinds of Tasks: Qualitative and Quantitative (전기와 자기에 대한 중학생들의 개방적 탐구에서 과제 유형에 따른 탐구 수행 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyse the eighth grade students' performance of open investigations for two kinds of tasks: the qualitative one which involves the descriptive approach through observation, and the quantitative one which involves the quantitative data processing through control of variables. Researcher's observation, interview data as well as students' investigation reports, self-evaluations were analysed. The difficulties of qualitative open investigation lie in detecting and dealing with unexpected observations, of which the acceptance and interpretation were influenced by preconceptions. On the other hand, managing several variables, making reliable and valid measures, and quantitative data processing constituted main difficulties of quantitative open investigation. Some students could recognize the deficiencies of their methods and findings in qualitative one, but few in quantitative one. These results suggest the teaching point for each task of open investigations.

The Analysis of Mathematical Tasks for developing the core competencies in High School "Mathematics" textbook (고등학교 <수학>교과서에 제시된 교과 역량 과제 분석)

  • In this paper, we analyzed the levels of cognitive demand of the tasks for developing t he mathematical core competencies presented in the "Mathematics" textbook of the first y ear of high school developed according to the 2015 revised mathematics curriculum. "Mathematics" textbook included 4999 mathematics tasks, of which 703 were tasks for developing the mathematical competency. Analysis of 703 mathematical tasks according to the analysis framework of Stein, Smith, Henningsen, and Silver (2000) showed that 61.5% of students required high cognitive levels, 38.5% required low cognitive levels, and the types of tasks were as follows: Low-M 1.0%, Low-P 37.5%, High-P 57.8%, High-D 3.7%. It w as found that most of the tasks for the purpose were tasks that led to understanding mathematical concepts, principles, and processes along procedural processes.

A Study on the Analysis of College Student's Information Problem Solving Process in Team Project Activities (대학생의 과제 중심 정보문제 해결과정 분석에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, the importance of team based learning has emerged as the method for conducting the constructivist learning theory. College students, however, have the low preference toward team projects. Thus, this research suggested that the information literacy education should be designed to overcome the problems in team project activities after analyzing the college students' information problem solving process. The in-depth interviews were conducted twice with 10 subjects. As a result, the main problems during team project activities were task definition, judgement on relevant information, evaluation of result and process, absence of accountability and synthesis. The recommendations for information literacy course are as follows: introduction to different types of information sources, support for communication problems between team members, education of credibility judgment on information and criteria for evaluating the results.
