Built-In Self Repair for Embedded NAND-Type Flash Memory (임베디드 NAND-형 플래시 메모리를 위한 Built-In Self Repair)

  • BIST(Built-in self test) is to detect various faults of the existing memory and BIRA(Built-in redundancy analysis) is to repair detected faults by allotting spare. Also, BISR(Built-in self repair) which integrates BIST with BIRA, can enhance the whole memory's yield. However, the previous methods were suggested for RAM and are difficult to diagnose disturbance that is NAND-type flash memory's intrinsic fault when used for the NAND-type flash memory with different characteristics from RAM's memory structure. Therefore, this paper suggests a BISD(Built-in self diagnosis) to detect disturbance occurring in the NAND-type flash memory and to diagnose the location of fault, and BISR to repair faulty blocks.

  • Due to the recent increase in new and renewable energy, gas turbine generators start and stop every day to supply high-quality power, and accordingly, the life span of high-temperature parts is shortened and the failure of combustion chamber temperature sensors increases. Therefore, in this study, we proposed a fuzzy logic-based failure diagnosis algorithm that can accurately diagnose and systematically detect the failure of the sensor when the dual temperature sensor used for gas turbine control fails, and to confirm the usefulness of the proposed algorithm We tried to confirm the usefulness of the proposed algorithm by performing various simulations under the matlab/simulink environment.

  • As dual port memories are being frequently used, test and diagnosis for dual port memories becomes more important. In this paper, anew diagnosis algerian which can classify faults in detail when the fault is detected during test process is developed. The new algerian increases its efficiency by using the information that can be obtained by test results as well as results using additional diagnostic pattern set. In addition the algorithm can diagnose various fault models for dual port memories.

  • This paper is concerned with the fault diagnosis for stuck-at faults of a multistage interconnection network(MIM) which is a kind of interconnection networks in multicomputer systems. Up to the present, a fault diagnosis scheme has dealt with a fault model of all types, which results in complicated algorithms. In the literature, it is shown that a number of steps and computation are required for the fault detection and isolation algorithms for a class of MINs. In this paper, we propose a simple and easily implementable algorithm for the detection and isolation of the stuck-at fault in MIM. specifically, we develope an at algorithm for the isolation of the source fault in switching elements whenever tile stuck-at fault is detected in MINs. After all, the proposed algorithm is illustrated by an example of 16$\times$16 baseline networks of MINs.

  • In this paper, dynamic control model is formulated by considering the geometrical structure of the deaerator storage tank in nuclear power plant and input-output flow rate at steady state, and we describe fault detection and diagnosis (FDD) scheme based on the adaptive estimator. The performance and effectiveness of the proposed FDD scheme are evaluated by applying real operating data obtained from the YOUNGKWANG 3 & 4 FSAR.

  • 본 논문에서는 제어시스템의 신뢰성 향상을 위한 고장허용제어계를 실현하기 위하여, 함수관측자를 도입한 장치고장검출(IFD)기법 및 고장보상알고리즘을 제안하고, 이를 전형적인 불안정 비선형시스템인 역진자제어계에 적용하였다. 제안된 IFDS는 기존의 다중관측자기법과 동일한 구조를 가지지만 최저차 설계가 가능한 미지입력 함수관측자를 채택함으로서 알고리즘의 단순화를 가하였을 뿐 아니라 고장량의 추정 등 다양한 설계목적을 고려하여 설계될 수 있다는 특징을 가진다. 제안된 고장 검출식별 기법의 제안된 역진자제어계를 위한 제어기, 고장검출식별 및 보상알고리즘을 모두 포함한 상태에서 고장허용제어의 가능성을 검증하였다.

  • This paper aims at the prototype-making of the intelligent switchgear with arc fault diagnosis function required to prevent the electrical fire. The main control unit of the intelligent switchgear consists of a single-phase power management device and a arc fault diagnosis device. The prototype of the single-phase power management device and the prototype of the arc fault diagnosis device in this paper. In the device, the cooperation function with the arc fault diagnosis device is developed to transmit the cause of the electrical fire to the remote server system.

  • To diagnose a stator winding fault caused by a short-circuited turn in a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), an on-line based fault detecting scheme during motor operation is presented. The proposed scheme is based on monitoring the second-order harmonic components in q-axis current obtained through the harmonic analysis and a winding fault is detected by comparing these components with those in normal conditions. The linear interpolation method is employed to determine harmonic data in arbitrary normal operating conditions. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed fault detecting scheme, a test motor to allow inter-turn short in the stator winding has been built. The entire control system including harmonic analysis algorithm and fault detecting algorithm is implemented using DSP TMS320F28335. The proposed scheme does not require any additional hardware and can effectively detect a fault during motor operation so long as the steady-state condition is satisfied.

  • 최근의 프로세스 공업화에 있어서 생산Line의 장치나 기계류는 점차 대형화, 고속화,연속화,복잡화되고 있다. 또한, 기계가공공업,자동차공업,기계,전자부품의 가공조립등의 생산설비는 각설비가 고도로 자동화되고 있는 실정으로 공장 전체의 유기체적인 제어 및 감독을 필요로 하고 있다. 마찬가지로 기계부품제작산업도 CNC.FMS등으로 점차 조작화,자동화됨에 따라 공작기계 장치나 기계류등의 이상이나 고장으로 생산 및 품질에 미치는 영향도 종래와 비교할 수 없을 정도로 중요시 되고 있는 실정이다, 이와같이 설비의 안전성을 도모하고 고신뢰도를 부여하기위해서는 기계설비의 이상 및 고장진단이 필수적이며, 공장 자동화와 함께 공작기계자체의 고장 및 이상진단을 실시하고, 검출된 신호의 크기등으로 고장상태를 판정해야만 한다. 공작기계에서 동적인 회전시스템을 이루는 주축용베어링의 손상은 제작하고자 하는 제품의 정밀도 표면거칠기등의 저하 뿐만아니라 시스템 전체의 기능까지도 떨어뜨리는 요인이 될수 있으므로 베어링 상태를 진단하여 송상유무를 판단하는것은 필수적이라 생각된다.

Fault Detection Algorithm of Photovoltaic Power Systems using Stochastic Decision Making Approach (확률론적 의사결정기법을 이용한 태양광 발전 시스템의 고장검출 알고리즘)

  • Fault detection technique for photovoltaic power systems is significant to dramatically reduce economic damage in industrial fields. This paper presents a novel fault detection approach using Fourier neural networks and stochastic decision making strategy for photovoltaic systems. We achieve neural modeling to represent its nonlinear dynamic behaviors through a gradient descent based learning algorithm. Next, a general likelihood ratio test (GLRT) is derived for constructing a decision malling mechanism in stochastic fault detection. A testbed of photovoltaic power systems is established to conduct real-time experiments in which the DC power line communication (DPLC) technique is employed to transfer data sets measured from the photovoltaic panels to PC systems. We demonstrate our proposed fault detection methodology is reliable and practicable over this real-time experiment.
