A study on the User Experience of Athleisure Brand Communities by Generation (애슬레저 브랜드 커뮤니티의 세대별 사용자 경험 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to measure the satisfaction level of user experience of athlesure brand community by generation through surveys, and to derive satisfaction level according to consumption taste by generation. As a tool for measuring brand community, a questionnaire written Creating Pleasurable Interfaces Model of Stephen P. Anderson was used and was conducted focusing on women in their 10s-40s, which are the main consumers. As a result of the survey, the community participation rate and satisfaction level are significantly different depending on the consumption tendency of each generation. In addition, focused on task satisfaction was high, but focused on experience satisfaction was relatively low. It was found that there is a need for a plan to improve satisfaction based on experience for revitalization of online and offline communities in the future. Through this study, we expect the use of consumer-centered brand communities and brand communities according to the satisfaction level of consumption demand by generation and consumption preference by demand.

Netizen's Self-Enhancing Emotional Experiences in Avatar Consumption - Using Ethnographic Interviews (네티즌의 아바타 소비에서의 자기고양 정서경험 -민속지적 면접을 이용하여)

  • It is necessary to understand netizen's emotional experiences in avatar consumption. We studied the emotional experience through ethnographic interviews with six informants. In this study, we used the descriptive questions, structural questions, and comparative questions. Netizen's self-enhancing emotional experience were divided into two emotional experiences: emotional experiences in one's world and emotional experiences in relationship with others. First, emotional experience in one's world included self-satisfaction, releasing stress, catharsis, immersion, desire of change, and sense of achievement. Second, emotional experiences in relationship with others were divided into self-enhancing emotional experiences and self-humbling emotional experience. Self-enhancing emotional experiences included the relative satisfaction, the desire of showing off/distinction, and the desire of conformity. Self-humbling emotional experience included the feeling of inferiority.

Investigating Paid Virtual Live Stream Concert Experience from the Perspective of Social Representations Theory (유료 온라인 라이브콘서트 소비경험에 대한 연구: 사회표상이론을 중심으로)

  • Due to COVID-19, paid virtual live-stream concerts have emerged as an alternative format and a new revenue model for in-person live concerts. Despite the increasing scholarly and practical interest in how participants experience paid virtual live-stream concerts, few studies examined participants' consumption and participation experiences. Thus, this study aims to provide insights into consumers' virtual live-stream concert experience by employing social representations theory (SRT). We explore the features of paid virtual live-stream concerts based on the C-P-N-D (Content-Platform-Network-Device) framework and the consumers' cognitive and affective perception. To this end, an SRT-based core-periphery analysis was conducted based on 239 responses to the open-ended survey questions. The results show that network-and device-level features of virtual live concerts and participants' overall perception are presented as core elements of paid virtual live-stream concerts, whereas content- and platform-level features are peripheral elements. This finding provides an in-depth understanding of the emergence of paid virtual live-stream concerts as an alternative concert format, thereby providing an invaluable understanding of a virtual live concert experience and theoretical and practical insights.

Effects of Emotional Reaction Based on Consumption Experiences of Luxury Korean Restaurants on Repurchase Intention (고급 한정식 레스토랑의 소비경험에 의한 감정반응이 재 구매의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study is intended to analyze how emotional reaction based on consumption experience of dining at Korean traditional restaurants affects comsumer's repurchase intention. These restaurants are chosen from lists of high quality Korean traditional restaurants designated by the Restaurant Association in Busan. And then a model for the study is designed based on preceding studies and hypotheses are extracted. A statistical package program, SPSS WIN Version 18.0 is used for frequency analysis, reliability analysis and factorial analysis and regression analysis to verify the hypotheses. As the result of verifying how experience of dining at a Korean traditional restaurant affected arousal among emotional reactions, the symbolism factor and the variety factor were all proved to be meaningful, whereas the amusement factor was proved to be meaningless. As the result of verifying how experience of dining at the restaurant affected dominance among emotional reactions, the symbolism, amusement, and variety factors were all proved to be meaningful. As the result of verifying how emotional reactions affected consumer's repurchasing, the arousal and dominance factors were all proved to be meaningful. Moreover, as the result of verifying how experience of dining at the restaurant affected consumer's repurchasing, the variety and amusement factors were all proved to be meaningful, whereas the symbolism factor was proved to be meaningless.

A Study of Cognitive Beliefs and Consumption Feelings As Predictors of Well-known Brand Apparel Purchasing Intention (유명브랜드 의류에 대한 인지적 신념과 소비감정이 구매 의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study were 1) to examine underlying dimensions of two aspects of attitudes - cognitive beliefs and consumption feelings of well-known name brand apparel and 2) to examine predictiveness of those two variables in predicting buying intentions of well-known name brand apparel. The data were collected through questionnaire from convenient samples of 207 female college students. Statistical analysis of factor analysis, t-test and multiple regression analysis were performed in analysing the data. The major findings were as fellows: 1. The dimensions of evaluation criteria of well-known name brand apparel were design/brand name, clothing construction, and practicality. 2. The dimensions of consumption feelings were pleasure/confidence, active and regret. 3. In predicting buying intension of name brand apparel, consumption feelings fecund to be as more robust predictors than cognitive variables.

  • 본 연구는 마케팅의 네 가지 경험적 접근방법, 즉 정보탐색적 접근, 브랜드 컨셉으로서의 경험, 즐거움의 경험, 총체적 경험 등의 내용을 살펴보고 이들의 기여와 문제점 및 한계를 살펴보았다. 또한, 감성적 경험과 소비 시점의 경험에 관해서도 논의하였다. 경험적 접근방법은 새로운 마케팅 수단으로 충분한 잠재력을 가지고 있으며 인지적 접근, 브랜드의 기능적 혜택을 강조하는 기존 마케팅 방식과는 상당한 차이가 있다. 하지만, 경험적 접근방법 앞으로 해결해야 할 많은 과제가 남아 있으며, 일부 실무적인 서적들이 주장한 바 와 같이 인지적, 기능적 마케팅 방식을 대체하는 것은 아니라고 할 수 있다. 기존 전통적인 마케팅 방식에 대하여 보완적 역할을 수행할 수 있으며, 제한적인 조건에서만 적합한 방식으로 평가할 수 있다.

  • This study attempts to suggest a model on the factors of the experiential intent. We propose a model that includes (1) the entertainment, aesthetic, empathy, information as exogenous constructs, (2) utilitarian value and hedonic value, as mediating constructs (3) experiential intent, as endogenous construct. To test the model, we analyze the data using the LISREL structural modeling. The results of our analyses suggest, as expected, that program traits -entertainment, aesthetic, empathy, information- influence utilitarian value and hedonic value, in turn, utilitarian value and hedonic value influence the experiential intent. We conclude with a discussion of managerial implications, including the potential to advance understanding the factors of experiential intent on broadcast program.

  • To continue the growth of use of 5-star hotels by Koreans, who have recently shown the consumption trends pursuing the empirical value of a consumption process, and have turned into core customers of 5-star hotels in Seoul, it is necessary to study factors of experience value pursued by Koreans. As a result, fantasy is identified as a major leading factor in usage satisfaction among experiencial values. So it is important to reflect special concepts and atmospheres for emotional values, such as other world experience, new experience, and high-quality experience. And consumer return on investment was identified as a leading factor in positively affecting usage satisfaction. So it is important to develope a proper products that can enough benefits with reasonable prices. In the relationship between usage satisfaction and continuous usage intention, gender characteristics and occupational characteristics were found to play a moderating role. Male customers, and those with professional and self-employed occupations, were found to have higher continuous usage intention than females and other occupational customers. This is a result of the fact that customers with an economical power are likely to be continuous repeat customers of 5-star hotels, so the necessity of strengthening marketing activities such as research on the development of more differentiated and specialized products, service creation and atmosphere production for excellent consumers group.

  • The aim of this paper is developing the educational program for the elder's daily life as a consumer, according as recognize the important of their consumption function and role in modern society. This paper consider the studies for elder consumption needs and activities for educational program, then present six principles and contents in four areas. The principals are empirical, socialization, interrelation, spontaneity, individualization and respect for the aged principal. The program themes are preventive education for elder consumer, advisable transaction, advisable transaction through cases and consumer's right, responsibility, duty and process of decision for purchase.
