Currently, most academic libraries provide OPAC 2.0 service which applies Web 2.0 based-internet search engine to OPAC. The new service is for the users' convenience and so the considerations for the users' opinions are of great importance for each of services. The objectives of the study were to investigate perceptions of the students as the main user for academic library on the importance for the main services of OPAC 2.0 and analyzed information sources and the reasons for book search by the virtue of this service. The study showed that there were the users' high expectations on accuracy and satisfaction for OPAC 2.0, and the main searching information source was the OPAC of the universities to which the users belong due to familiar screen as well as convenient reading and book loan through it. The OPAC 2.0 service needs to be improved with the consideration of the users' opinions.

인터넷을 통한 검색은 사용자가 찾으려는 정보를 일반적으로 브라우저를 통해 표현해주고 있다. 본 연구서는 웹 사용자에게 기존의 브라우저가 아닌 화면 분할을 통하여 인터넷 사용의 효율을 높이는 방식을 제공하였다. 그 중에 WEB 2.0의 Ajax를 사용하여 웹 페이지를 분할 후 특정 브라우저와 상관없이 복수 페이지의 접근을 가능하게 하고 검색의 효율성을 높이기 위해 하나의 브라우저에서 서로 다른 검색엔진의 Open API가 작동되도록 하였다. 한번의 키워드 입력과 한번의 클릭으로 검색엔진 마다 방문 할 필요없이 하나의 브라우저에서 각각의 검색 결과를 사용자에게 제공해 주도록 하여 검색 시간을 감축하고, 결과를 비교 분석하므로 웹 서핑의 효율성을 높여주는 시스템을 구현하였고 이를 입증하였다.

Most of information in Web2.0 is constructed by users and can be classified by tags which are also constructed and added by users. However, as we known, referring by the related works such as automatic tagging techniques and tag cloud's construction techniques, the research to be classified information and resources by tags effectively is to be given users which is still up to the mark. In this paper, we propose and implement a clustering system that does mapping each other according to relationships of the resource's tags collected from Web and then makes the mapping result into clusters to retrieve images. Tn addition, we analyze our system's efficiency by comparing our proposed system's image retrieval result with the image retrieval results searched by Flickr website.

본 논문은 오픈 API를 이용하여 다국어 정보검색 시스템을 모델링하는 방법론을 제시한다. 웹 2.0이 대두되면서 웹 2.0의 개념을 활용한 기술들이 발달하고 있는데, 그 중 한 기술이 오픈 API이다. 기업에서 개발한 새로운 서비스나 기능, 데이터 등을 API로 공개함으로써 사용자들이 공개된 API를 이용하여 새로운 서비스를 쉽게 개발할 수 있게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 구글, 플리커, 유튜브, 네이버, 다음 등의 사이트에서 제공하는 오픈 API를 이용하여, 다국어 정보 검색 시스템을 구현하였다. 구글 번역 API를 이용하여 한국어 질의어를 검색 대상 언어(영어, 일본어, 중국어 등)로 번역한 후, 소설 웹 사이트(플리커, 유튜브, 다음, 네이버 등)의 정보를 검색하고, 검색된 결과 내 텍스트를 다시 한국어로 번역한 후, 통합된 검색 결과를 사용자에게 보여준다.

최근 인터넷의 발달에 따라 XML 문서의 사용과 각종 영상정보의 양이 크게 증가되었다. 이에 따라 XML 문서를 관리하기 위한 XML 데이터베이스의 필요성과 메타데이터 표준화에 대한 중요성이 증가되고 있다. XML 데이터베이스는 XML 문서의 특성을 고려하여 그 특성을 효율적으로 지원할 수 있다. 또한 국내에서는 교육정보분야 메타데이터 표준인 KEM 2.0이 제정 되었고 국외에서는 멀티미디어 데이터에 대한 표준으로 MPEG-7이 제정이 되었다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 MPEG-7을 기반으로 KEM 2.0을 이용한 영상정보 XML 스키마를 생성하고 이를 이용한 영상정보 검색시스템을 XML 데이터베이스 기반으로 설계하고자 한다. 본 논문에서 설계하는 XML 데이터베이스 기반의 영상정보 검색시스템은 XML 문서에 대한 빠른 저장과 검색이 가능할 것이다. 또한 검색 기능에 있어서는 키워드 기반의 의미기반 검색과 유사 이미지를 통한 내용기반 검색, 그리고 이를 내용기반과 의미기반을 통합한 검색 기능을 제공할 것이며 XML 문서에 대한 강력한 질의 수단인 XQuery 질의를 포함하게 될 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to provide an actual basic data and helps for arranging the next generation OPAC's interface and function through improving the existing OPAC's interface and improvement in the domestic library. In this study, factors to be importantly considered for improving the OPAC's interface and function were examined based on the preceding studies on OPAC concept & development process, user's library use style, user use style of OPAC, and recognition on library's crisis, and actual condition investigation result. Also, the case analysis on the existing OPAC's interface and function was focused on the search window, search item, search method, alignment function, search result display and search result feedback. Also, the search interface and search function of the next generation OPAC which is provided by the recently-developed domestic and foreign library utilization, and the detailed case were analyzed in the aspect of Library 2.0 service. Finally, the measures for improving the existing OPAC's interface and function in domestic library were suggested.

최근 많이 주목을 받고 있는 웹 2.0은 사용자의 참여, 개방, 네트워크 효과에 기반하여 누구나 데이터를 생산하고 공유할 수 있는 사용자 중심의 인터넷 환경이다. openAPI는 웹 2.0의 근본 개념인 데이터의 개방 및 공유를 구현할 수 있는 핵심 기술로 포털은 자신의 서비스를 공개한다. 하지만 기존의 웹서비스와 openAPI 검색은 효율적인 검색 방법을 제공하지 않았다. 본 논문에서는 Lee[1]의 논문에서 제공하는 효율적인 웹서비스 검색 방법을 이용하여 검색 엔진을 개발하였다. 하지만 이 연구는 웹서비스와 유사한 구조를 가지는 openAPI를 수용하지 못한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 openAPI의 정의 및 사용법이 웹서비스와 유사하다는 점을 활용하여 openAPI의 효과적인 검색을 위한 검색기법을 개발하였다. 이러한 검색기법은 사용자가 키워드를 입력하여 키워드 기반 검색을 통해 원하는 서비스를 찾아주고, 매쉬업 서비스나 다른 openAPI와의 조합(Composition)을 위해 템플릿 기반 검색을 통해 효과적인 검색을 제공해준다.

One of the most popular technologies in Web2.0 is tagging, and it widely applies to Web content as well as multimedia data such as image and video. Web users have expected that tags by themselves would be reused in information search and maximize the search efficiency, but wrong tag by irresponsible Web users really has brought forth a incorrect search results. In past papers, we have gathered various information resources and tags scattered in Web, mapped one tag onto other tags, and clustered these tags according to the corelation between them. A 3-tag based search algorithm which use the clustered tags of past papers, is proposed in this paper. For performance evaluation of the proposed algorithm, our algorithm is compared with image search result of Flickr, typical tag based site, and is evaluated in accuracy and recall factor.

인터넷과 웹과 같은 정보사회의 교육환경 변화에 따른 교육정보의 교류 수요의 급속한 증가에 따라 교육정보 자료에 대한 메타데이터의 표준이 필요하게 되었다. 이에 따라 국내에서는 개별적으로 개발되고 있는 교육정보 자료를 통합적으로 공유, 재사용하기 위하여 KEM(Korea Education Metadata) Ver 2.0을 한국교육학술정보원에서 개발하였다. 또한 해외에서는 최근 급증하고 있는 멀티미디어 데이터의 적절한 표현을 위하여 MPEG-7 표준이 제정되었다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 형태의 교육정보 자료 중에서 교육정보 이미지에 대한 검색시스템을 설계하였다. 본 검색시스템의 설계는 한국교육학술정보원에서 개발된 KEM Ver 2.0을 수용하기 위하여 교육정보 이미지의 메타데이터 표현을 KEM Ver 2.0에서 제안된 메타 데이터 표현을 MEPG-7으로 확장한 XML 스키마를 사용하였다. KEM Ver 2.0 기반의 high-level 메타데이터와 MEPG-7 기반의 low-level 메타데이터를 이용함에 따라 국내에서 사용되는 교육정보 이미지의 상호교환 뿐 아니라 체계적이고 빠른 검색과 추출이 가능할 것이다.

This research investigated user satisfaction and importance of OPAC2.0 services in university libraries for book search result. This research analyzed OPAC2.0 services in university libraries focusing on book search result, user satisfaction with and importance in services, difference in satisfaction and importance, and grade and satisfaction. As a result of the investigation and analysis, OPAC2.0 services given the most was the service of 'portal site linkage'. Generally, the satisfaction with OPAC2.0 services was 2.07 in average, 'very dissatisfactory'. The service considered to be the most important was 'service item'. The difference between satisfaction and importance showed dissatisfactory result, compared with importance in general. The grade and the general difference in satisfaction didn't appear. On the basis of the analysis result mentioned above, with the purpose of the improvement in OPAC2.0 services focusing on book search result, it is necessary to manage users continuously by publicizing libraries concerning respective services, introducing use guide, offering a variety of services, improving quality, and offering information.
