The impact of conversion and sanctification-centered educational programs on youth spirituality : Focusing on Camp 'A' (회심 및 성화 중심의 교육 프로그램이 청소년의 영성에 미치는 영향 : A캠프를 중심으로)

  • Purpose of Research: This study examines how an intensive Christian program focused on conversion and sanctification impacts youth spirituality. While previous research was qualitative, looking at program design and family-church ties, this research provides a needed quantitative analysis of the program's effect on youths' spiritual development. Research content and method: The research, centering on 'A' Camp's focus on conversion and sanctification, used a pre-post test model with Lee and Kim's metrics to gauge youth spirituality. Conducted in a 2023 summer camp, assessments on days one and three yielded 109 valid questionnaires, analyzed via paired t-tests. As a result of the analysis, relationship with God t=-9.65, traditional faith t=-6.22, influence of spirituality t=-6.35, religious activity t=-8.32, experience of transcendent power t=-8.67, living righteously t=-8.04 It was statistically significant in all areas. Conclusion and Recommendation: The study confirmed that programs emphasizing conversion and sanctification markedly improve youth spirituality, notably enhancing experiences of God and righteous living via the Holy Spirit. These findings are pivotal for guiding future youth education programs, especially those conducted in camp settings.

Development and Application of Internet-based Consumer Education Program for Children (인터넷 기반 아동소비자 교육프로그램 개발 및 적용)

  • This study presents a development of internet-based consumer education program for children. We also investigate how this program affects on the children's consumer competency and how much children are interested in this program. This program consists of 6 domains: the concept of consumer. wants and scarcity. advertisement, tips on purchasing. consumer's rights. and consumer's problem imd solutions. In order to attract children. multimedia data such as pictures. drawings. and animations were included in designing the screens. The subjects of this study were 40 children at forth grade to participate in consumer education program. Surveys were conducted twice to collect data for consumer competency and children's interest in the program. According to the results of t-test. We found that consumer education has a positive effect on consumer knowledge and consumer-role attitude but has not a positive effect on consumer skill. We also found that children's interest on this program was very high.

Development of the Scale for Healthy aging (건강한 노후 척도 개발에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was designed to develop an questionnaire for healthy aging. The subjects of this study were total 335 people who participated in regular exercise and went to welfare centers in Seoul. The validity and reliability were tested for verifying the developed questionnaire for healthy aging. The data were collected between June 12, 2006 and October 27, 2006. The mean, standard deviation, kurtosis, skewness, reliability, exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor were analyzed for statistical purpose using by SPSS-Win 12.0 program. The results were as follows; First, to obtain content validity, the results of previous research and the value system responses were submitted to a judgement group. Second, the results of the factor analysis of the 20 items making up the questionnaire were classified into the following 3 factors; physiological health(6 items), cognitive-mental health(6 items), social-support health(8 items). Third, the reliability of the questionnaire for healthy aging was 0.891(Cronbach's alpha). In the factor analysis Cronbach's alpha correlations for the 4 factors ranged from 0.642 to 0.885. Fourth, the results of confirmatory factor analysis, all the index values(NFI, RFI, CFI, Delta 2 IFI) were close to 1. Thus, this questionnaire demonstrated good reliability and validity and therefore it was an appropriate measurement of healthy aging.

The Effects of Practical Reasoning Home Economics Instruction on Middle School Students' Self-Esteem (실천적 추론 수업이 중학생의 자아존중감에 미치는 효과)

  • This study developed practical reasoning teaching-learning material for middle school home economics education and tested its effects on middle school students' self-esteem The type of this study was a quasi-experimental research and its independent variable was practical reasoning instruction and its dependent variable was self-esteem. The research design for this study was a pretest-posttest design. Practical reasoning instruction was given for experimental group whereas traditional instruction was given to comparison group. For measuring self-esteem, 'self-esteem scale' developed by Choi & Jun(1993) was used and its Cronbach'a was ranged from .69 to .84. Statistic analysis was done by mean and standard deviation for general characteristics of samples and paired t-test for testing difference of pretest-posttest. The results of this study showed that practical reasoning instruction improved middles school students' self-esteem, the general self-esteem and social self-esteem among sub-areas of self-esteem in particular.

Achievements in the Creativity Education through Freshmen Engineering Design (대학 신입생 공학설계과목을 통한 창의성 교육의 성과)

  • This study is a part of the research on measuring and developing the creativity of college students, especially of engineering college students. This study was done in the class of imaginative design engineering which was a creativity training program integrated with engineering majors, including idea generation skills, creative problem solving, patent applications, design, manufacturing and marketing. Participants in this program were 75 freshman strudetns in engineering college. The achievements in this program were measured by the figural form of TTCT(Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking), as well as MBTI(Myers-Briggs Type Indicator). The results are as follows. First, TTCT scores of the participants in imaginetive design engineering increased significantly. Second, type indicator scores of MBTI varied significantly, to the directions of extrovert, feeling, and perception. Therefore, according to the results of this study, we can conclude the imaginative design engineering class had significant positive effects on the creativity of the engineering students.

A STUDY OF THE DEVELOPMENT AND STANDARDIZATION OF ADHD DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM (전산화된 주의력장애 진단시스템의 개발 및 표준화 연구)

  • Objectives:Present study developed the computerized ADHD Diagnostic System(ADS) in order to diagnose ADHD and evaluate treatment effect of it, and conducted a standardization study for ADS. Methods:The normative group was composed of 847 children and adolescents between the age of 5 and 15(boy 429, girl 418) living in the areas of Seoul, Kyunggi-do, and Kangwon-do. 30 ADHD children with age ranged 7 to 9 years were participated present study to evaluate the validity of ADS. To establish the norms for diagnosing ADHD, the means and standard deviations of normative group were used to calculate T-scores for each age group. Results:The reliability coefficient of ADS(Cronbach's ${\alpha}$) was .85. There were significant differences in the measures of ADS except commission error between the normal and the ADHD groups. Three factors were extracted through factor analysis of ADS, which were labelled 'inattention', 'slow information processing' and 'impulsivity'. Discriminant analysis showed that ADS significantly discriminate the normal and the ADHD groups. Percentage of correct classification by ADS variables was 96.7%. Conclusion:These results put together strongly support the reliability and validity of ADS as a diagnostic instrument for ADHD.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the use of the e-learning courseware which is about the properties of earth environmental change. I made these materials using Lectora program, and to have more visual effect, I used movies and animations as much as possible. A lot of movies and pictures are added to help student understand the geographical age. Especially the forms of performance test questions are various, and student can check the answer right after taking test. Because of this, they can get a immediate feedback. In addition, this allows you to adapt yourself to the age of information by using the internet. Every plug-in is already linked together, so you only need to once. Pictures and moving reflections can be edited with ease. I hope this study will provide valuable aid for the education of earth science and a chance to develop better materials.

  • Purpose: The purpose of a role model is to find a master or expert who conduct their business effectively and work as a model that helps staff in charge to conduct their works effectively. This process is an effort to find out the deviation of work performance capability among staffs in charge and settle the work process to be optimized to practical business, the standardization of protocol. Materials and Methods: Seoul Asan medical center nuclear department developed 6~7 role modeling items and has applied it to work. I report two operation improvement cases we had applied a role model to Seoul ASAN medical center. Result: By comparison with none application of a role model, we could improve operation efficiency. Conclusion: The main purpose of role modeling is to make the employees who do the business in their charge effectively as a role model and contribute to work performance of employees who are lack of work performance although they performed their works hard. Our team is going to develop role model items continuously and to make a use of it to practical work then improve work performance. We regard it as a useful tool to performance improvement. The performance improvement by using a role model was very useful instrument.

외상 후 스트레스 장애의 평가

  • 우리는 살아가면서 흔히 개인적으로 극심한 스트레스를 겪거나 불행히도 어떤 뜻밖의 재난이나 큰 사고를 경험할 수 있다. 이런 외상적 사건들을 겪고 대부분의 사람들은 잘 극복할 수 있으나 일부 사람들은 심각한 의상 후 스트레스 반응을 보여 그런 외상이 지나감에도 불구하고 괴로운 기억 속에서 그것을 회상시키는 활동과 상황을 피하며 늘 불안한 마음으로 몸은 현재에 살고 있지만 마음은 실상 과거에 매달려 있고 과거의 고통 속에서 헤어 나오지 못하고 있다. 외상 후 스트레스 장애는 다른 불안 장애, 우울증처럼 흔한 질환으로 사회생활에 큰 지장을 주며 삶의 질을 손상시킨다. 그렇지만 외상을 당한 당사자들이 이런 이야기를 하기 꺼려하고, 이런 사람들을 진료실에서 종종 만날 수 있는 임상가들도 외상의 심각성과 외상 후 스트레스 장애에 대한 인식이 부족하여, 우리 주위에 많은 사람이 외상 후 스트레스 장애로 고생하고 있지만 외상 후 스트레스 장애로 진단되는 경우가 실제보다 훨씬 적다. 따라서 외상 후 스트레스 장애에 대한 평가를 배움으로써 더 많은 환자들을 정확히 진단하며 다른 질환과의 감별을 쉽게 할 수 있고, 환자들의 고통과 어려움이 과연 무엇인지 잘 알 수 있으며, 치료 표적과 치료 전략을 정하고, 치료 계획을 세우는 데 도움을 얻을 수 있다. 평가 방법으로는 구조화된 면담, 평가 척도, 정신 생리적 측정법, 치료자의 임상적인 결정 등이 있다. 향후에는 외상 후 스트레스 장애의 증상 정도뿐만 아니라 일상생활, 사회적 관계, 직업적, 사회적 적응 및 기능에 미치는 영향도 같이 평가하는 도구들이 개발되고, 현재 개발된 많은 평가 척도들이 새로이 수정되고 표준화되어, 이런 평가 척도들을 통해 외상 후 스트레스 장애의 경과와 외상 후 스트레스 장애로 인한 정신 사회적 영향을 더 잘 알 수 있는 자료들이 많이 수집되길 바란다. 대칭이, 작은대칭이, 펄조개는 저질이 니질인 곳에서 주로 서식하고 있었고 귀이빨대칭이는 사니질과 사질에 주로 서식하고 있었다. 특히 삽교호 수계 채집된 귀이빨대칭이는 사니질과 사질의 저질에서 출현하였다.및 내장낭 조직들이 중요한 에너지 저장소이며, 영양 공급 기관임을 알 수 있었으며, 폐각근 조직과 내장낭 조직들의 영양물질 함량 변화는 생식소의 에너지 요구에 따라 변하고 있음을 알 수 있었다.. 따른 신장 기능에 대한 영향을 평가해 보아야 한다.하를 조사한 결과, 연간 진동해역으로 유입되는 오염부하량은 부유물질 기준으로 전체 37,316 ton/yr로 추정되었고, 이중 육지기원 부하량이 9,809 ton/yr (26.3%) 였고, 해역의 침강량 23,576 ton/yr (63.2%), 양식생물의 배설량이 3,932 ton/yr (10.5%) 로 대부분이 해역의 침강량에 의한 것으로 조사되었다. 육지오염부하량이 변동이 없다는 전제 조건 아래, 진동만의 피조개 채묘장을 미더덕 양식장으로 품종전환시킬 경우, 전체 부하량은 산술적으로 약 196%가 증가한 72,998 ton/yr 가 되고, 양식생물의 배설량은 10배 정도 증가하게 되어 진동만의 오염부하를 가중하게 된다. 진동만은 여름철 빈산소수괴 및 적조가 빈번하게 발생하고 있으므로 미더덕 양식장을 새로이 시설할 경우 오염부하가 가중될 것으로 판단되어, 앞으로 진동만의 양식장 수용능력을 파악하여 적정량의 양식물량이 시설되어야 할 것이다.25 psu에서 가장 높게 나타났다.인 단백뇨는 진행성 경과의 위험성을 동시에 암시해 주는 매우 유용한 지표이다. 본 연구 결과 학교 신체 검사상에서 발견된 단독 단백뇨의 주된 원인은 기립성 단백뇨로 81.8%를 차지하였다. 그러나 지속성 단백뇨의 경우 비록 9.1%의 빈도를 보였지만, 신장 조직검사를 시행한 결과 진행성 경과를 취할 수 있는

Development and Validation of Perceived Stigma of Delirium Scale (섬망 환자의 지각된 낙인 척도 개발 및 타당성 검증)

  • Objectives : This study developed and validated the Perceived Stigma of Delirium Scale(PSDS), which is designed to measure perceived stigma associated with delirium in patients suffering from that disorder. Methods : Based on a literature review of scales assessing stigma, a preliminary scale comprising seven items was developed. After recovering from delirium, 128 patients completed the PSDS and the Distress Thermometer (DT). Factor analysis was used to examine construct validity, and internal consistency and test-retest reliability were examined to ensure reliability. Concurrent validity was assessed using the correlation between the total scores on the PSDS and the DT. Results : Factor analysis yielded a single-factor structure from the seven candidate items. One item was excluded due to low factor loading. The internal consistency was computed and Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ was 0.85 for the total score. The overall test-retest reliability was 0.71, with items ranging from 0.58 to 0.83. The total score on the PSDS was significantly correlated with the DT score. Conclusions : The PSDS may be a reliable, valid instrument for evaluating perceived stigma in patients who have recovered from delirium. Further study of the perceived stigma by delirium patients is required to assess the implications of the PSDS for clinical practice and research.
