On Shape Recovery of 3D Object from Multiple Range Images (시점이 다른 다수의 거리 영상으로부터 3차원 물체의 형상 복원)

  • To reconstruct 3- D shape, It is a common strategy to acquire multiple range Images from different viewpoints and integrate them into a common coordinates In this paper, we particularly focus on the registration and integration processes for combining all range Images into one surface model. For the registration, we propose the 2-step registration algorithm, which consists of 2 steps the rough registration step using all data points and the fine registration step using the high-curved data points For the integration, we propose a new algorithm, referred to as ‘multi-registration’ technique, to alleviate the error accumulation problem, which occurs during applying the pair-wise registration to each range image sequentially, in order to transform them into a common reference frame Intensive experiments are performed on the various real range data In experiments, all range images were registered within 1 minutes on Pentium 150MHz PC The results show that the proposed algorithms registrate and integrate multiple range Images within a tolerable error bound in a reasonable computation time, and the total error between all range Images are equalized with our proposed algorithms.

  • In this paper, we propose face feature extraction algorithm through stereo image's matching value. The proposed algorithm detected face region by change the RGB color space of skin color information to the YCbCr color space. Applying eye-template from extracted face region geometrical feature vector of feature about distance and lean, nose and mouth between eye extracted. And, Proposed method could do feature of eyes, nose and mouth through stereo image's matching as well as 2D feature information extract. In the experiment, the proposed algorithm shows the consistency rate of 73% in distance within about 1m and the consistency rate of 52%in distance since about 1m.

  • In this paper, a system that can classify the objects in the image according to their sizes using the reference points is proposed. The object is studied with samples. The proposed system recognizes and classifies objects by the size in images acquired using a mobile phone camera. Conventional object recognition systems classify objects using only object size. As the size of the object varies depending on the distance, such systems have the disadvantage that an error may occurs if the image is not acquired with a certain distance. In order to overcome the limitation of the conventional object recognition system, the object recognition system proposed in this paper can classify the object regardless of the distance with comparing the size of the reference point by placing it at the upper left corner of the image.

  • Rotating modulation collimator(RMC) is a remote sensing technique for a radiation source. This paper introduces an RMC system model and its image reconstruction algorithm based on Kowash's research. The reconstructed image can show the direction of a source. However, the distance to the source cannot be recovered. Moreover, the RMC image suffers from $180^{\circ}$ ambiguity. In this paper, we propose a distance estimation method using two RMCs together with a solution to the ambiguity. We also demonstrate its performance using simulated RMC data.

  • CCD형 영상소자는 방사선 피폭 시 표면과 격자내부에 모두 손상을 받게 되며, 감마방사선이나 X선과 같은 고에너지의 이온화 방사선에 노출될 경우 격자 실리콘 내부에 전자-전공쌍(Electron-hole pair, EHP)이 발생된다. 이러한 EHP는 CCD의 순간 출력 광전류로 변환되어 백색 화소 형태의 영상잡음으로 가시화되며, 이 화소 수는 피폭 방사선량에 비례하여 증가하는 특성을 지니고 있다. 따라서 출력 영상정보를 분석하면 조사된 방사선의 양과 특성을 측정할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 CCD를 이용하여 가상의 방사능 물질 누출 공간에서 방사선원의 방향과 거리정보를 고속으로 탐지하기 위한 장치와 고속 측정 알고리즘을 구현하고 실제 방사선장에서 실증시험을 수행하였다. 방사선 탐지기는 콘형 납 콜리메이터(Collimator)와 가시광 변환용 신틸레이터(CsITl) 및 차폐체로 구성된 센서부와 제어 및 방사광 신호처리를 수행하는 PC부로 구성된다. 감마방사선($^{60}Co$) 방사선장 실증시험에서 방사선원간 거리 83cm에서 측정된 거리 탐지는 5.3%의 오차로 확인되었다. 이 방사선 탐지기는 임의의 고방사선 누출사고에 대한 초기대응 작업을 수행하기 위한 무인 이동로봇용 방사선 탐지기로 활용이 가능하다.

  • 2012년 9월 17일 제 16호 태풍 산바의 내습에 의한 유출발생 시 제주도 천미천 유역의 성읍교 부근에서 최대 수위 3.94 m를 기록한 9시 00분 유출영상에 표면영상유속계(SIV)를 적용하여 참조점 설정에 따른 오차율을 분석하였다. 참조점 설정 과정에서 원거리의 참조점 입력 오류가 발생하면 2~11 pixel의 미세한 오류값 입력에 의해 X축 방향으로 0.42 m, Y축 방향으로 0.94 m의 실거리 변화율이 발생하며, 근거리의 참조점 입력 오류가 발생하면 1~11 pixel의 미세한 오류값 입력에 의해 X축 방향으로 0.02 m, Y축 방향으로 0.28 m의 실거리 변화율을 발생시킨다. 이 같은 실거리 변화율은 원거리의 참조점 설정변수에 따라 유속 오차율은 최소 16.77%에서 최대 317.69%의 변동 폭을 나타냈으며, 유량 산정 시 최소 16.86%에서 최대 338.63%의 변동 폭을 나타냈다. 또한 근거리의 참조점 설정변수에 따라 유속 오차율은 최소 1.10%에서 최대 74.47%의 변동 폭을 나타냈으며, 유량 산정 시 최소 0.82%에서 최대 59.28%의 변동 폭을 나타냈다.

A study for improvement of far-distance performance of a tunnel accident detection system by using an inverse perspective transformation (역 원근변환 기법을 이용한 터널 영상유고시스템의 원거리 감지 성능 향상에 관한 연구)

  • In domestic tunnels, it is mandatory to install CCTVs in tunnels longer than 200 m which are also recommended by installation of a CCTV-based automatic accident detection system. In general, the CCTVs in the tunnel are installed at a low height as well as near by the moving vehicles due to the spatial limitation of tunnel structure, so a severe perspective effect takes place in the distance of installed CCTV and moving vehicles. Because of this effect, conventional CCTV-based accident detection systems in tunnel are known in general to be very hard to achieve the performance in detection of unexpected accidents such as stop or reversely moving vehicles, person on the road and fires, especially far from 100 m. Therefore, in this study, the region of interest is set up and a new concept of inverse perspective transformation technique is introduced. Since moving vehicles in the transformed image is enlarged proportionally to the distance from CCTV, it is possible to achieve consistency in object detection and identification of actual speed of moving vehicles in distance. To show this aspect, two datasets in the same conditions are composed with the original and the transformed images of CCTV in tunnel, respectively. A comparison of variation of appearance speed and size of moving vehicles in distance are made. Then, the performances of the object detection in distance are compared with respect to the both trained deep-learning models. As a result, the model case with the transformed images are able to achieve consistent performance in object and accident detections in distance even by 200 m.

  • A remote image transmission apparatus combines robot technology and image transmission there is safe problem or place that a person can not go. Recently, control apparatus that use wire and RF between web server and robot for remote control are developed. But there is problem that must install internet line and communication distance. Transmission distance problem call solve when using the equipment of RF, but price of RF router is problem that is very high cost. In this paper, we developed remote control system using the CDMA cellular phone communication network that can control image transmission and image transmission apparatus to solve these problem. Developed system could solve defects of methods that use existent RF and internet. And could transmit the most suitable image and voice under limited condition include current communication network.

일반적 총 변이와 가이드 깊이맵을 이용한 스테레오 정합

  • 스테레오 정합은 컴퓨터 비전 분야에서 활발하게 연구되고 있는 연구 주제로 서로 다른 위치에서 획득된 두 영상을 정합하여 거리 정보를 얻는 방법이다. 이 방법은 초음파나 레이저를 광원으로 거리를 측정하는 것보다 실제 응용 환경의 제약을 적게 받아 다양한 분야에서 응용되고 있다. 하지만, 텍스쳐가 반복되거나 텍스쳐가 없는 영역 혹은 객체의 경계 부근에서 정확한 깊이 정보를 획득하지 못한다는 단점이 있다. 본 논문은 일반적 총 변이와 가이드 깊이맵을 사용하여 정합 비용을 정제 방법을 사용하여 정확한 깊이 정보 획득 방법을 제안한다. 실험 결과를 통해 제안한 방법이 기존의 색상 영상의 텍스쳐 복사 문제를 해결하였으며, 기존의 방법에 비해 bad pixel rates 측면에서 월등한 성능을 보이는 것을 확인하였다.
