An Empirical Study on the Performance Improvement Strategy for Korean Shipping Companies by the Balance Score-card (외항선사의 성과개선 구축전략에 관한 실증연구)

  • This paper firstly aims to classify the applicability of the Balanced Scorecard approach to Korean ocean-going shipping firms' management system. The applicability of this approach from Korean shipping firms using Balanced Scorecard will create more effective and efficient organizational performance with reflecting non-financial indexes and making a balance among missions in organization. Secondly, the paper suggests positive information and theoretical evidences to improve Korean shipping firms' management system with examining an availability of the Balanced Scorecard as one method of management tools. So these factors are analysed by structural equation model. This study provides CEO in Korean ocean-going shipping firm the guideline and availability of the Balanced Scorecard as to what kinds of factors should be considered and what is the most critical factor to adopt the BSC into their business.

  • Hub-and-spokes전략은 교통분야에서 널리 이용되는 네트워크전략이지만, 철도의 경우 대개 이 전략을 이용하기 어려운 네트워크구조를 가지고 있어 그 적용사례를 찾아보기 어렵다. 그러나 유럽에서는 철도망이 도로망처럼 조밀하게 형성되어 있다는 점과 환적 처리기술의 발달로 90년대 초부터 이 전략이 철도화물운송부문에도 도입되기 시작했다. 이러한 관점에서 본 논문은 철도화물운송망에서의 hub-and-spokes전략을 구현하는 서비스네트워크 디자인모형을 개발하고, 모델의 실제철도망에의 적용성을 평가한다. 개발되는 모형이 전략모형임에도 불구하고 모형에서는 일반화된 운영비용 외에 열차속도, 서비스빈도, 터미널에서의 화물처리속도 등에 따른 시간지체비용도 고려되었다. 시간지체비용의 고려에 따라 야기되는 비선형 목적함수는 빈도별 서비스결정변수의 설정을 통해 선형화되어 결과적으로 모형은 선형 binary정수 최적화문제로 표현되었다. 규모가 큰 네트워크의 경우 해도출의 어려움 때문에 본 논문은 전체문제의 분할(decomposition)에 기초한 휴리스틱방법((heuristic method)으로 해결한다. 해도출의 효율성을 높이기 위해 서비스빈도개선과 관련하여 세 알고리즘이 개발되었다. 개발된 알고리즘은 유럽의 실제네트워크를 기초로 도출한 4개의 테스트문제에 적용되어, 해의 정확도와 해 도출의 효율성이 비교·평가되었다.

Home Manager's Time Use & Management Strategies of ChungJoo City (청주시 주부의 생활시간 사용과 관리전략)

  • 본 연구는 청주시 주부의 시간사용과 관리전략을 조사하여 가정생활 개선과 질적향상을 도모하기 위한것이다. 94년 10월 중순에 예비조사를 거쳐 동안 11월~12월에 걸쳐 본조사를 실시하였고 기재미비를 제외한 388부를 분석에 사용하였다. 자료분석은 SAS/PC program을 사용하였다. 본 연구의 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1) 생리적 생활시간 사용은 휴일이 평일보다 2시간 더 많고 가사적 생활시간은 휴일과 평일이 거의 비슷하다. 또한 사회문화적인 생활시간 사용은 휴일이 평일보다 2,2시간 더 많았던 반면, 수입노동시간은 평일이 휴일보다 5배나 많았다. 마감시간, 가사분담, 편의품 및 서어비스이용 의 관리전략을 많이 사용하는 반면, 긴장해소, 시간계획, 가정기기이용의 관리전략을 적게사용한다. 2) 배경변인에 따라 생활시간 사용 및 관리전략은 유의적 차이가 있었다. 3) 역할갈등인식이 낮을수록, 결혼지속년수가 짧을수록, 주부교육수준이 높을수록, 그리고 소득이 많을수록, 시간관리전략을 더 자주 사용하였다.

  • 최근 건강에 대한 사회 전반의 관심이 증대되면서 자신의 건강을 체크하고 행동 및 습관을 변화시키기 위해 휴대용 건강 체크 기기를 사용하는 사람들이 늘고 있다. 휴대용 기기 중에서 모바일은 네트워크를 사용하여 시간과 장소에 상관없이 정보 제공이 가능하기 때문에 설득적 매체로 각광받고 있다. 모바일을 통해 사용자의 태도 및 행동을 변화시키는 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 효과적인 설득의 전략을 세워야 한다. 신뢰성(credibility)은 사람이 어떠한 대상에 대해서 믿을 수 있다고 인지한 정도를 의미하는 것으로 일반적인 설득 커뮤니케이션에서 사용자의 태도 및 행동을 변화시키는 것에 큰 영향을 주는 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 모바일의 매체적 설득 효과별 알아보고, 신뢰성에 영향을 주는 요인을 전문성과 믿음성으로 나누어 이들 요인에 따라서 사용자의 태도 및 행동 변화가 어떻게 달라지는지 실험을 통해 분석하였다. 실험 결과 웹을 통해 실험에 참여한 사람보다 모바일을 통해서 실험에 참가한 사람들의 식생활 개선이 크게 나타났다. 이를 통하여 웹보다 모바일의 매체적 설득 효과가 크다는 사실을 앞 수 있었다. 또한 전문가의 메시지를 받은 그룹 참가자들 중에서 설득 메시지에 대하여 인지된 신뢰성을 높게 평가한 사람의 개선 정도가 크게 나타났다. 인지된 신뢰성은 서비스 만족도에 영향을 준다는 사실도 알 수 있었는데, 이는 모바일 환경에서 신뢰성 제공 전략은 설득력을 높이기 위한 전략이면서도 사용자의 서비스 만족도를 높이기 위한 전략이 된다는 것을 의미한다. 본 연구 결과는 모바일을 통해서 사용자에게 동기를 부여하고 더 나아가 직접적인 행동 수정이 이루어지도록 하는데 이용될 수 있을 것이다.

A Qualitative Research on the Improvement of Government Public Relations in the Low Fertility Society (저출산 정부홍보 개선방안을 위한 질적 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose an effective PR plan for government policies in order to make the people aware of the importance of the fertility rate by seeking strategies to counter the low fertility rate. Focus group interviews were conducted with 6 experts with high expertise in government policy advertising and public relations among advertising and public relations academics and practitioners. It was found that low fertility PR strategy raised the problems of integrated public relations and budgeting. PR message strategy was lacked a creative approach suitable for the target, and the media strategy did not reflect the characteristics of the younger generation. Based on these research results, an improvement plan for government PR to counter the low fertility was proposed, and it is expected that it will be used for policy making in the future.

  • Using strategy group theory, this thesis reviewed the status of program providers analysis and the performances it has made so far, and sought measures to improve its limitations. The constraint of program providers analysis based on existing concept of strategy group is that the strategy group was derived from the statistics, and therefore only applied the characteristics of program provider's channels to the analysis, on account of which a systematic and sophisticated classification as well as generalization of strategy or strategy group were hard to obtain. Moreover, the PP strategy variables used to be selected at the firm level and business level, and in relation with resource and competition scope. In future, more appropriate procedure should be followed to obtain objectivity in selecting variables to avoid controversy over intentionality. The measures in this thesis to improve the study of PP strategy group can be summarized as follows: firstly analysis of variables for strategy group classification should be made to single out key variables which are to be classification criteria. Secondly, variables are to be cross-checked by industry experts to increase generalizability. Thirdly, proxy variables should be sublated, and strategy group model which enables the reflection of subsistent properties of PP industry, and the cognitive perception of the executives(CEO) needs to be established. Fourthly, the concepts of mobility barrier and isolating mechanism should be applied to the classification criteria of strategy group to reveal the gap of performance between different strategy groups. Lastly, chronicle study on PP strategy group should be done to perceive the dynamic changes of PP strategy group.

  • The changes in the 4th industrial revolution era are not limited to specific sectors, but affect all sectors of industry. Thus all companies are required to respond effectively to changes. Some companies response by adopting cutting-edge ICT and some companies improve the organizational structure, or enhance the competence of individual employees. This study is based on the assumption that the responses to the change in the 4th industrial revolution era should not be uniform, and that the response strategies and priorities should vary according to the characteristics of the companies. The purpose of this study is to suggest both different response strategies and the priority of the responding factors(areas) to small and medium-sized enterprises. Data were collected through the semi-Delphi method. As a result of data analysis, the priorities of the medium-sized enterprises were as follows: introduction of IT-strengthening the competence of the individuals - establishing technology infrastructure-improving organizational structure - efficiency of work - improving organizational culture. While the priorities of the response factors(area) of the small-sized companies were as follows: strengthening the competence of the individuals - efficiency of work - introduction of IT - establishing technology infrastructure - improving organizational structure - improving organizational culture.

  • This study found the strategies for activating the security industry to utilize social network services based on the platform business model. This research was utilized for in-depth interview and IPA analysis. And use it was to check the contents and strategic improvement projects that can actually materialize and direction of the strategy. First, run a priority need area is a private center of community policing related portal development and operation, universal social networking service(SNS) utilizing expanded, professional training, IT-based security content management and operation of IT infrastructure security guards and security professionals up educational content development, online security guards and security professionals-up refresher training program development. Second, the area over the inventory capabilities increase the effectiveness of the security guards was constructed open-type comprehensive public information system. Third, the area needed to be reviewed are the individual security industry experts workers operating information channels, dedicated customer service and expanding the event of a private security guard & security service providers up. Fourth, the effectiveness of the insufficient area are discuss system improvements, the sharing of community policing closed Cameras for proposals for the expanded utilization of social networking services, private development organizations Social Network Service(SNS).

  • According to the "2021 Trade Statistics" released by the Korea Customs Service, the number of domestic export companies has decreased by 2,400 since COVID-19, and the number of importers has increased by 10,000. Exporting companies are making a great contribution to the economic development of Korea along with the creation of domestic jobs. At a time when the logistics environment changes rapidly, there are insufficient papers analyzing the impact of eco-friendly logistics strategies of domestic exporters on logistics performance. In order for exporting companies to continue to have global competitiveness and improve logistics performance, it is necessary to analyze the impact of eco-friendly logistics strategies on the logistics performance of exporting companies. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of eco-friendly logistics strategies of domestic export companies on logistics performance. The eco-friendly logistics strategy is divided into an internal strategy and a supply chain management strategy. As a result of the analysis, it was analyzed that the internal strategy has a positive effect on the logistics performance of exporting companies, and the supply chain management strategy has a positive effect on the logistics performance of exporting companies. As such, it was analyzed that the eco-friendly logistics strategy of exporting companies is an important resource for companies and serves as the basis for improving the logistics performance of companies.
