A Study on the Strategies of Growth in Small & Medium Construction Firms (강원지방 중소건설업의 성장전략에 관한 연구)

  • This research has been accomplished to build up the growth strategies of Kangwon district's small & medium-sized construction firms. For this purpose, we made an investigation of the present situation and status for existing regional small & medium construction firms by analyzing data. Based on the results from this study, the following growth strategies are suggested to gain their competitive advantages. Firstly, most of all, the role of the top manager is the most important factor since most of the top manager for the small & medium-sized construction firms coincide with the owner the firms. Secondly, the specialization strategy is to establish. Above all they concentrate their business capacities on core business. Then, this growth strategy should be based on the selective escalation of functions in order to maintain an appropriate level of construction works. Thirdly, the specialized skills and skilled workers are ensured for competitive advantages. For human resource development, they should train workers to be multi-functioned on the assumption the they could stay at firm until they wish to retire. Finally, the government must also spare no effort to encourage the small & medium-sized construction firms to build up it's competitive power and cultivate it's spontaneous generation power though the reformation of system related whit the small and medium construction industry.

A Study on the Performance Improvements of Congestion Control of Multiple Time Scale Under in TCP-MT network (TCP-MT네트워크에서 다중 시간 간격을 이용한 혼잡제어 성능 개선에 관한 연구)

  • Measurement of network traffic have shown that the self-similarity is a ubiquitous phenomenon spanning across diverse network environments. In previous work, we have explored the feasibility of exploiting the long-range correlation structure in a self-similar traffic for the congestion control. We have advanced the framework of the multiple time scale congestion control and showed its effectiveness at enhancing performance for the rate-based feedback control. Our contribution is threefold. First, we define a modular extension of the TCP-a function called with a simple interface-that applies to various flavours of the TCP-e.g., Tahoe, Reno, Vegas and show that it significantly improves performance. Second, we show that a multiple time scale TCP endows the underlying feedback control with proactivity by bridging the uncertainty gap associated with reactive controls which is exacerbated by the high delay-bandwidth product in broadband wide area networks. Third, we investigate the influence of the three traffic control dimensions-tracking ability, connection duration, and fairness-on performance.

  • 저자는 28명의 측두하악장애 환자와 31명의 정상인을 대상으로 최적기능교합의 개념에 입각하여 교합시의 치아접촉점을 동적이며 정량적인 방법으로 평가하여 교합안정장치의 사용으로 인한 교합안정성의 개선여부를 알아보고자 하였다. 이와 동시에 교근과 전측두근의 활성도를 측정하여 치료의 경과에 따른 근활성의 변화를 알아보기 위해 본 연구를 시행하였다. 측정항목은 개구범위, 두개하악장애지수, 치아접촉점 좌우균형치, 치아접촉점 전후균형치, 치아접촉점 평균시간간격, 치아접촉점의 개수, 접촉시간, 좌우측 교근과 좌우측 전측두근의 근활성, 근활성 비대칭 지수 등이었다. 이의 측정을 위해 T-Scan System, K-6 Diagnostic System 그리고 EM 2등을 사용하였으며 얻어진 자료에 대해 검정한 후 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 교합안정장치를 이용하여 측두하악장애 환자들을 4주간 치료한 결과 전반적인 임상증상이 호전되어 개구범위와 두개하악장애지수에 있어서 뚜렷한 개선이 있었다. 2. 측두하악장애 환자에서 최대 악물기시의 치아접촉점 좌우균형치및 평균시간 간격이 큰 것으로 나타나 치아접촉이 일어나는 순간의 교합안정성이 좋지 않은 것으로 평가되었다. 3. 치료 4주후 교하안정장치를 장착한 상태에서 측정한 치아접촉점 좌우균형치및 치아접촉점 평균시간간격은 치료전에 비해 개선된 것으로 나타났다. 4. 치료 4주후 치아접촉점의 전후방 분포가 구치부위로 이동되는 양상을 보였다. 5. 측두하악장애 환자에서 최대 악물기시의 좌우측 교근 및 전측두슨의 근활성은 정상인에 비해 낮에 나타났으며, 이는 치료기간 동안 감소되는 경향을 나타내었다. 6. 측두하악장애 환자에서 전측두근의 근활성 비대칭지수는 정상인에 비해 상당히 높게 나타났으며 이는 치료기간 동안 감소되는 경향을 나타내었다.

  • The spindle is the main component in machine tools. The static and dynamic characteristics of the spindle directly affect the machining accuracy of workpieces. The characteristics of the spindle depend on the shaft size, bearing span, built-in motor location, and so on. Therefore, the appropriate selection of these parameters is important to improve the spindle characteristics. This paper presents the analysis of the static and dynamic characteristics and optimization design of a 40,000-rpm high-speed spindle. Statistical analysis for optimization and finite element analysis were performed. This study uses the response surface method to optimize the objective function and design factors. The targets are the natural frequency and displacement. The design factors are the shaft length, shaft diameter, bearing span, and motor location. The optimized design provides better results than the initial model, and these results are expected to improve the static and dynamic characteristics of the spindle.

A Study on the Improvement of Spectrum Utilization Efficiency by Narrowing the Channel Spacing in Domestic FM Broadcasting (국내 FM 방송에서 채널 간격의 축소에 따른 스펙트럼 이용효율의 개선에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, the efficiency of spectrum utilization has compared in case of channel spacking 100 KHz and 200 KHz by application of technical specifications of domestic FM broadcasting varing with effective radiated power, terrain irregularity factor and effective height of thrnsmit antenna. The results show that if arranging by 100 KHz channel total number of available channel will increase twice and the efficiency of spectrum unilization will be better 1.36 to 2.0 times than that of 200 KHz channel spacing.

A Diplexer of Microstrip Transmission Lines (마이크로스트립 선로 형태의 다이플렉서)

  • Transmission line characteristics in microstrip line is used to in this paper. 5-microstrip lines composed of various spacing between them suggests characteristics of a diplexer in simulation. By applying the simiulation results, the diplexer realized shows better results of flat responses in bandpass characteristics and bandstop characteristics around 15 dB than symmetric spacing one.

  • 이 논문에서는 SIMD처리기에서 기억장치 접근시간을 감소시키기 위한 기억장치를 제안했다. 이 기억장치는 MxN 배열내 자료들의 임의의 위치에서 일정 간격인 블록형태와 8방향 선형태인 pq개의 자료들의 동시접근을 지원한다. 기억모듈 수는 pq보다 큰 소수이고, 간격은 기억모듈 수의 배수가 아닌 양수이다. 간단하고 빠른 주소계산회로와 이동회로를 위해, 요구된 자료들에서 첫번째 자료의 기준 주소와 pq개의 주소간의 차들로 구분한 후, 주소간의 차들은 첫번째 자료요소의 기억모듈번호로부터 번호에 따라 오름차순 정렬되고 따른 기억모듈에 저장된다. 9가지 자료 이동형태를 멀티플렉싱과 회전에 의해 1가지로 감소시킨 효율적인 자료 이동 회로를 제안하였다. 제안된 충돌회피 기억장치는 이전 기억장치와 비교하여 자료 접근형태, 간격, 자료 배열의 크기에 제한, 하드웨어 비용, 속도, 복잡도면에서 개선하였다.

  • To support large storage capacity and real-time characteristics of continuous media storage systems, we need to improve the performance of disk I/O subsystems. To improve the performance, we exploited buffer sharing scheme that reduces the number of disk I/Os. We utilized the advance knowledge of continuous media streams that is used to anticipate data demands, and so Promoting the sharing of blocks in buffers. In this paper, we proposed a buffer replacement algorithm that enables subsequent users requesting the same data to share buffer efficiently. The proposed algorithm manages buffers by utilizing reference interval information of blocks. In order to verify validity of the proposed algorithm, we accomplished simulation experiments and showed the results of performance improvements compared to traditional buffer replacement algorithms.

Influences of Inter-syllable Pause Duration on Speech Discrimination Score in Children with Cochlear Implantation (음절 간 쉼 간격이 인공와우 아동의 어음이해도에 미치는 영향)

  • The aims of this study was to investigate influences of speech discrimination score(SDS) depending on inter-syllable pause duration in participant with child of cochlear implantation(CI). 12 child of CI-user participated. The word for SDS was used self-made meaningless three-syllable. The pause duration of inter-syllable was adjusted to 250, 500, 1,000 millisecond(ms). Discrimination score of closed-set speech was obtained at most comfortable loudness(MCL). SDS were improved in CI group for 62.08, 63.75, 69.58 %, but there were no significant changes in child of CI group(p = .4635). SDS was improved depending on inter-syllable pause duration in child of CI.

  • In this paper, bit error rate (BER) characteristics, sensitivity and minimum allowable launching power are numerically investigated as a function of amplifier spacing that consisted of 1,200 km WDM systems with MSSI method. It is conformed that the sensitivity and minimum allowable launching power are gradually degraded as amplifier spacings are gradually expanded, but those are not largely affected by modulation format. The sensitivity of RZ transmission system is smaller than that of NRZ transmission system, but minimum allowable launching power of NRZ transmission system is smaller than that of RZ transmission system. And, it is confirmed that the best amplifier spacing in NRZ and RZ transmission system is less than 50 km, because the sensitivity and minimum allowable launching power are less affected by fiber dispersion, channel wavelength and pump light power.
