The Moderating Effect of Gratitude Disposition in the Relationship between Stress and Happiness in Nursing Students (간호대학생의 스트레스와 행복감의 관계에서 감사성향의 조절효과)

  • This study was conducted to examine the moderating effect of gratitude disposition as a link between stress and happiness in nursing students. The subjects were 275 nursing students at a university in G-Gun. Data were collected from October 4, 2018 to October 10, 2018 and analyzed by using hierarchical regression analysis. As a result, the final model (Model 3) in regression explained 26.2% of variance in happiness. Stress was an important factor influencing happiness. Stress ${\times}$ gratitude disposition interaction was significant for happiness after adjusting control variables. Gratitude disposition moderated the association between stress and happiness in nursing students. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an intervention program to reduce the stress and increase the gratitude disposition to enhance the happiness of nursing students.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship among empathy ability, gratitude tendency, helping behavior, and happiness of college students and whether gratitude tendency and help behaviors are mediators in the relationship between empathy ability and happiness. For this purpose, Date were collected from 559 college students in S and K city. The SPSS 20.0 program was used to analyze the statistical data such as the mean and standard deviation of the data. To analyze the validity of the study, it conducted confirmatory factor analysis using AMOS. Finally, we analyzed the effect of empathy on happiness by using the bootstrap procedure in order to investigate the mediating effects of gratitude tendency and helping behavior. The results of the study are as follows. First, the correlation of each was positive. Second, in the relationship between empathy ability and happiness, the gratitude tendency was a statistically significant mediator. Third, helping behavior was a statistically significant mediator between empathy and happiness. Fourth, in the relationship between empathy ability and happiness, it did not do dual mediate to the gratitude tendency and help behavior. The implications and limitations of this study are discussed.

  • The purpose of this study is to verify whether the relationship between gratitude disposition and psychological well-being of college students shows a mediating effect of self-esteem The final 211 copies of the data were used in the analysis for the study, which was collected as students attending the university located in Group C. The data were statistically processed using SPSS 21.0 and the hierarchical regression analysis was performed to analyze the collected data. The results of the study are summarized as follows: Looking at the impact of the first-phase gratitude disposition on self-esteem, it was found that gratitude disposition was significant to self-esteem. Looking at the impact of the second-phase gratitude disposition on psychological well-being, gratitude disposition was significant to psychological well-being. Since the three-stage gratitude disposition was significant to psychological well-being, self-esteem can be seen to have partial medias. The results of this study confirmed that gratitude disposition was necessary as psychological resources to promote psychological well-being of university students, and self-esteem had a mediating effect. It is hoped that this research result will be used as a basis for the development of programs to improve gratitude disposition and self-esteem in order to promote the psychological well-being of college students.

Effects of Hope, Grateful Disposition, Workplace Spirituality on Organizational Citizenship Behavior among Nurses (간호사의 희망, 감사성향, 일터영성이 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향)

  • This study assesses the association of nurses' hope, grateful disposition, and workplace spirituality with the goals of providing human resource management plans that lead to efficient and competitive nurse structure by building a nurse organizational culture based on analyzing the influences affecting organizational citizenship behavior. Participants were 147 nurses working in four general hospitals in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. The survey data were analyzed by frequencies, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple stepwise regression via SPSS WIN 18.0. Results showed that organizational citizenship behavior is positively associated with nurse's hope (${\gamma}=.22{\sim}.36$, p<.001), grateful disposition (${\gamma}=.38$, p<.001) and workplace spirituality (${\gamma}=.38{\sim}.54$, p<.001). The significant predictors of organizational citizenship behavior were workplace spirituality (${\beta}=.54$, p<.001), hope of turnover (${\beta}=.12$, p<.001), hope (${\beta}=.09$, p<.001) and grateful disposition (${\beta}=.08$, p<.001), which explained 41.6% of the variance in organizational citizenship behavior. This study systematizes a theory for workplace spirituality processing the early stage research in nurse structure. To improve organizational citizenship behavior among nurses, educational programs and supporting systems should be developed to increase nurses' hope, disposition of grateful disposition, and workplace spirituality.

The Effects of Character Education Program Applying Mindfulness Diary for Middle School Students (유념 다이어리를 활용한 중학생 인성교육 프로그램의 효과)

  • This study aimed to examine the effects of the character education program applying mindfulness diary in 'H' girls' middle school, which is implemented as a practical character education at the school level while supplementing the limitations of existing character education programs. To achieve this, the pre- and post-design of a single treatment group in which data were collected over three time periods over two years for all 182 enrolled students was conducted. As a result of repeated measures of ANOVA to examine the significant mean change in the data, this program significantly improved the level of self-control, prosocial behavior, and gratitude of students. This was not only showing a significant improvement one year after the start of the program, but also showing a continuous significant improvement even one year later. Based on the above results, the implications and suggestions of this study were discussed.

A Study on Happiness of Nursing Students (간호대학생의 행복감에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify factors influencing happiness of nursing students. Data were collected from 219 nursing students in G city and analyzed by the SPSS/WIN 18.0 program. The degree of happiness of nursing students was $27.77{\pm}.2.99$. Happiness had negative correlations with stress in (r=-.889, p<.001), and positive correlations with Gratitude disposition (r=.335, p<.001), Social support (r=.334, p<.001). Factors that had an influence on happiness included stress(${\beta}=-.844$, p<.001), gratitude disposition(${\beta}=.126$, p<.001), grade point average(${\beta}=-.083$, p=.003), social support,(${\beta}=.090$, p=.005). These factors explained 84.0% of the variance in nursing students happiness. These results suggest that development of program to improve happiness of nursing students.

The influence of gratitude enhancement program on preschoolers' aggression perceived by their teacher and mother (감사 증진 프로그램이 교사와 어머니가 인식한 유아의 공격성에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was designed to examine the influence of gratitude enhancement program on preschoolers' aggression perceived by their teacher and mother. The subjects in this study were 40 four-year-old children in kindergarten in U city. This study employed a pre/post-test control group design, and so all subjects were assigned to an experimental group(gratitude enhancement program) or comparative group(general education program according to the year curriculum). Preschoolers' aggression was measured by the teacher and mother of the subjects and the collected data were analyzed by independent and paired t-test. This study also computed Cohen's d to estimate effect size of gratitude enhancement program on preschoolers' aggression. The findings of this study were as follows. Firstly, gratitude enhancement program and general education program were all effective in reducing preschoolers' aggression(aggression against things, verbal aggression and total aggression) perceived by their teacher except of aggression against others. But gratitude enhancement program was more effective than general education program in reducing these sort of aggression. Meanwhile, only gratitude enhancement program was effective in reducing preschoolers' aggression against others. Secondly, gratitude enhancement program was effective in reducing preschoolers' aggression(aggression against things, aggression against others, verbal aggression and total aggression).

  • 본 논문에서는 컴퓨터 시스템에서 침입 감지 시스템을 설계함에 있어서 사용될 수 있는 새로운 방법인 Event Sequence Tracking 방법을 제안하였다. Event Sequence Tracking 방법에서는 컴퓨터 시스템의 공격방법을 크게 두가지로 분류한다. 첫번째는 일련의 시스템 명령어를 이용한 공격방법이고 두번째는 침입자 자신이 만들었거나 다른 사람으로부터 얻은 프로그램을 이용하는 방법이다. 첫번째 공격방법에 대한 감지방법은 시스템을 공격할 때 사용한 일련의 시스템 명령어들을 감사 데이타를 분석하여 찾아내고 이 결과를 기존에 알려진 공격 시나리오들과 비교하여 침입자를 찾아내는 방식이다. 두번째 공격방법에 대한 감지 방법은 보안 관리자가 정해놓은, 시스템에서 일반 사용자가 할 수 없는 행위에 관한 보안 정책에 따라 Key-Event 데이타 베이스를 만들고 여기에 해당하는 event의 집합을 감사 데이타에서 찾아내는 방법이다. Event Sequence Tracking 방법은 Rule-based Penetration Identification 방법의 일종으로서 시스템의 공격방법을 분류하여 컴퓨터 시스템에의 침입을 효과적으로 감지할 수 있다는 것과 rule-base의 생성과 갱신을 함에 있어서 보다 간단하게 할 수 있다는 장점을 갖는다.
