간호대학생의 셀프리더십 정도에 따른 시뮬레이션 교육 전·후 문제해결능력, 수행자신감 및 비판적 사고능력의 차이 (Differences of Pre-Post Simulation Training on Problem solving, Performance confidence and Critical thinking Skill in Nursing Students according to Degree of Self-leadership)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate differences of pre-post simulation training in problem solving ability, performance confidence, and critical thinking skill according to degree of nursing students' self-leadership. Methods: This study was a descriptive survey using a self-report questionnaire. One hundred eighty nursing students participated in this study which programed a simulation scenario of pre-post operative patients' care. Descriptive statistics, paired t-test, ANCOVA with IBM SPSS 21.0 program were used for data analysis. Results: After the simulation training, both the above-average subjects and below-average subjects in self-leadership significantly improved their problem-solving ability, performance confidence, and critical thinking skill. compared with their previous level. The subjects who rated above-average in self-leadership, improved their degree of problem-solving ability, performance confidence, and critical thinking skill significantly more than those who were below-average in self-leadership. Conclusion: Self-leadership of nursing students is an important element in effective simulation training.

간호학생의 노인인식에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors influencing the perception of the elderly in Nursing Students)

  • 연구목적: 본 연구는 간호학생의 노인인식에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위함이다. 연구방법: 연구대상은 Y대학 간호학생 340명으로 자료는 2014년 6월부터 6월 25일까지 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN 17.0 program을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과: 노인에 대한 이미지와 지식, 지식과 노인에 대한 고정관념 및 인식은 양의 상관관계에 있었고, 노인인식에 영향을 주는 요인으로는 종교, 노인문제관심도, 지식이 유의미한 영향요인으로 나타났다. 결론: 간호학생의 노인에 대한 올바른 지식 습득을 통해 노인에 대한 긍정적인 인식을 형성할 수 있도록 노인관련 교육 과정을 효율적으로 운영하고 결과에 대한 지속적인 연구가 필요하다.

대학생의 소셜 네트워크 서비스(Social Network Service) 중독경향성과 우울의 관계에서 대인관계 문제의 매개효과 (Mediating Effects of Interpersonal Problems in the Relationship between Social Network Service Use Tendency and Depression among University Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study isto identify the mediating effects of interpersonal problems in the relationship between Social Network Service (SNS) use tendency and depression among university students. Methods: Data were collected from April 28 to May 7, 2018 and the participants included 222 university students, who responded to the question regarding SNS use tendency, interpersonal problems and depression. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression using the SPSS/WIN 23.0 program. Results: A positive correlation is found between depression and SNS use tendency (r=.24, p<.001), and among interpersonal problems (r=.62, p<.001), SNS use tendency and interpersonal problems (r=.34, p<.001). Interpersonal problems have a full mediating effect on the relationship between SNS use tendency and depression (Sobel test: 5.24, p<.001). Conclusion: These results suggest that it is important to manage interpersonal problems to prevent depression caused by SNS use tendency.

콘크리트믹서트럭운전자의 건강문제에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors affecting the Health Problems of Concrete Mixer Truck Driver)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify the level of health problems and the factors that affect health problems for concrete mixer truck divers. Methods: The questionnaires were administered to 111 drivers in 6 Remicon workplaces located in D city and 7 Remicon workplaces located in K city from September 10 to 28, 2018. A total of 111 questionnaires were collected and 106 were used, excluding 5 incomplete ones. Data were analyzed with frequency, percentage, $x^2$ test, multiple logistic regression analysis by SPSS/WIN 23.0. Results: The factors affecting subjective health were eating habits, sleeping hours and drinking conditions. The factors that affected chronic diseases were age, eating habits, sleep hours, and drinking conditions. The factors influencing musculoskeletal complaints were work experience, eating habits, and sleep hours. Conclusion: The major influencing factors of health problems were eating habits, sleeping hours. This study suggests that it is necessary to run a systematic health care program for the desirable health behaviors in the communities and industrial fields.

청소년의 정신건강문제가 자살 관련 행위에 미치는 영향: 청소년 건강행태조사 자료를 이용하여 (The influences of mental health problem on suicide-related behaviors among adolescents: Based on Korean Youth Health Behavior Survey)

  • Purpose: This study explored the influencing factors on suicide-related behaviors (ideation, plans, and attempts) focusing on mental health problems (anxiety, depression, and loneliness) among Korean adolescents. Methods: A secondary analysis was conducted with data from the 16th Korean Youth Health Behavior Survey collected from in 2020 by the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Chi-square tests and multivariate logistic regression analyses were performed. Results: After the adjustment of demographic characteristics and health risk behaviors, the influences of mental health problems on suicidal ideation, plans, and attempts showed the anxiety odds ratio (OR) for severe anxiety vs. minimal (OR 4.65, 4.67, and 3.75), depression (OR 4.27, 3.69, and 4.49), loneliness (OR 2.18, 1.96, and 1.96). Health risk behaviors (violence experience, drug use, stress, smoking, and drinking alcohol) and demographic variables (gender, school record, and socioeconomic status) were also significantly associated with suicide-related behaviors. Conclusion: Anxiety, depression, and loneliness were strong predictors of suicide-related behaviors. Early detection of suicide risks through screening for comprehensive mental health problems was recommended. Suicide prevention that considers the risk factors, including mental health problems and other risk factors, needs to be developed and implemented to reduce suicide risks among adolescents.

알코올 교육 프로그램이 음주문제를 가진 노인의 음주관련 지식과 행동에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of an Alcohol Education Program on Behavior Related Drinking by the Elderly with Drinking Problems)

  • Purpose: In this study, the effects of an alcohol education program for elderly persons with drinking problems and the effects of knowledge of the behavior associated with alcohol use by elderly individuals with drinking problems were evaluated. Method: A single-group repeated study was conducted to evaluate 19 elderly individuals with drinking problems who used the G-city Elderly Welfare Center, with more than eight points in AUDIT results. The changes in drinking knowledge and alcohol behavior following an alcohol education program were evaluated. The effectiveness of the program was analyzed by a Wilcoxon signed rank test. and the relationship between drinking knowledge and changes in alcohol behavior was measured by Spearman's rank correlation coefficient. Results: The results indicated that drinking knowledge after conducting education increased significantly(Z=-3.826, p<.001), and that this increased knowledge resulted in significant changes in alcohol behavior(Z=-3.830, p<.001). There was a significantly positive relationship between drinking knowledge and changes in alcohol behavior(r=.464, p=0.013). Conclusion: Alcohol education programs effectively educate the elderly with drinking problems regarding alcohol, which influences their alcohol behavior.

직업기초능력에 대한 간호대학생의 교육요구도 분석 (Educational needs analysis for key vocational competency in nursing students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생을 대상으로 직업기초능력 항목의 현재수준과 중요수준을 파악하고, 직업기초능력 항목에 대한 교육요구도 우선순위를 규명하는 서술적 조사연구이다. 수도권, 강원 및 중북권 소재 5개 대학교에 재학 중인 간호대학생을 대상으로 2016년 6월 1일부터 6월 31일까지 설문조사를 실시하여 최종 411명의 응답자료를 수집 및 분석하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 23.0을 이용하여 빈도, 백분율, 평균, 표준편차, t검정, Borich 요구도 및 The Locus For Focus Model 분석기법을 활용하였다. 본 연구결과 간호대학생은 직업기초능력항목 중 '직업윤리능력', '자기개발능력', '대인관계능력'의 현재수준은 높은 것으로 인식하였고, '의사소통'과 '조직이해능력'의 현재수준은 낮은 것으로 인식하였다. 또한, 간호대학생은 직업기초능력 항목 중 '직업윤리능력', '자기개발능력', '문제해결능력', '의사소통능력', '자원관리능력', '대인관계능력', '정보능력', '기술능력', '조직이해능력', '수리능력' 순으로 중요하다고 인식하였다. 직업기초능력 10개 항목 모두 중요수준과 현재수준의 평균이 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었으며, 우선순위 분석결과 '의사소통', '문제해결', '자원관리', '자기개발'의 교육요구도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구결과는 간호대학생의 교육요구도를 고려한 직업기초능력의 교육과정 및 프로그램 개발에 중요한 기초자료가 될 것이다.

간호사의 간호 제공 의무와 말기 환자의 간호 거부에 관련된 윤리 문제에 관한 연구 (Refusal of care by chronically and terminally ill patients : An ethical problem faced by nurses)

  • Respect for human life and respect for human dignity are two basic values to which organized nursing has urged its members to adhere in their service to mankind. Thus it is the nurses’ duty to provide health care in support of sustenance of life and to pay respect for the patient’s right to dignity. In practice, however, nurses may experience dilemmas between these duties much due to the de velopment of modern advanced techniques. These dilemmas have become more complex and difficult to resolve. Nurses are often faced with situations in which the terminally ill refuse professional care, posing serious conflicts between respect for human life and respect for human rights to self-determination. In such cases, resolution of the problem is not a simple matter, thus requires intensive study into the ethical questions related to the situation. The purpose of this study was to identify ethical problems that nurses experience in caring for terminally ill patients and explore the ways to the resolution of problems within the context of the situations. The methodology used for the study was a case study method which ‘New Casuistry’ proposed by Jonsen & Toulmin(1988) and the ‘Specified Principlism’ proposed by Degrazia(1992) as an alternative to old deductive and intuitive method. Cases were developed through semistructured indepth interviews according to the casutistry method. A total of seven nurses were interviewd who were caring for therminally ill patients. Four cases out of a total 14 cases were related to the topic. Through the case analysis it became evident that nurses appreciated other values more often than respect for the patient’s right to self-determination. These other values were convenience and efficiency in nursing practice in case 1, preservation of life above all other values in case 2, provision of nursing care to fulfill the nurse’s professional obligation at most in case 3, and respect for the family’s demand against the patient’s wish in case 4. This study showed that the most important ethical problems were conflict between respect for the patient’s right to self-determination and sustenance of life for the fulfillment of professional obligation. For this problem, benefit /burden analysis from the perspective of the patient and family for the promotion of patient’s wellbeing may be a way to resolve the conflict. Further, through these analysis it was shown that physicians’ and families’ opinions dominated in the decision - making and the opinions of nurses’ and patients’ tended not to be reflected. Thus the patient's right to his or her care was not readily respected. To solve this problem. nurses should make efforts to communicate reciprocally with their patients, family members and physicians in an effort to respect for their patient’s rights to life and diginity from the point of view and values of the patient. It is also important that nurses provide good basic nursing care up to the time of death regardless of decisions about providing or not aggressive treat-ment for chronically and terminally ill patients.

시나리오를 통한 건강사정 실습교육이 간호대학생의 의사소통능력, 비판적 사고 성향 및 학업성취에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Health Assessment Practical Education through Scenario on Communicative Competence, Critical Thinking Disposition and Academic Achievement among Nursing Studuents' in University)

  • 본 연구는 간호 대학생을 대상으로 시나리오를 통한 건강사정 실습교육이 의사소통 능력, 비판적 사고 성향 및 학업성취에 미치는 효과를 보기 위한 비동등성 대조군 사전-사후 설계의 유사실험 연구이다. C북도 G군 소재 J대학교와 G도 P시 소재 P대학교에서 건강사정 교과목을 수강하는 간호학과 2학년 학생을 대상으로 실험군 35명, 대조군 34명에게 각각 시나리오를 통한 실습교육과 전통적 실습교육 수행 전 후로 자료를 수집하였다. 연구결과, 시나리오를 통한 건강사정 실습교육을 받은 실험군이 전통적 실습교육을 받은 대조군보다 의사소통 능력(t=2,797, p=.007), 비판적 사고 성향(t=2,406, p=.019), 정보수집능력(t=2,977, p=.004), 문제인식능력(t=3.584, p=.001)이 통계적으로 유의미하게 높아졌다. 그러므로 간호학생들의 의사소통 능력, 비판적 사고 성향, 정보수집능력 및 문제인식능력 향상을 위해 건강사정 수업 시 시나리오를 통한 실습교육프로그램을 활용할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

간호학 만족도에 따른 비판적 사고성향과 임상수행능력의 변화 (Differences between Critical thinking Disposition and Clinical practice according to Satisfaction for Nursinga Practice)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생에게 수술환자 간호에 대한 교육을 적용하여 간호학 만족도에 따른 비판적 사고성향과 임상수행능력에서 어떤 차이가 있는지 확인하여, 추후 수술환자 간호에 대한 효과적인 교육법 개발의 기틀을 마련하기 위함이다. 연구방법으로 대상자는 Y대학의 간호학과 3학년 155명이었으며, 대상자들은 3학년 첫 수업시간에 교육과정에 대한 전반적인 설명과 함께 실험참여에 대한 동의서와 사전 자가 설문지를 작성하였다. 이 후, 1학기와 2학기 마지막 수업에서도 자가 설문지를 작성하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS/WIN 23.0 Program을 이용하여 실수, 백분율, 평균, 표준 편차, 𝑥2-test, t-test, repeated measure ANOVA로 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 만족도가 높은 간호학생들과 중간이하로 낮은 학생들의 일반적 특성 중 연령을 제외하고는 두 군 간에 동질성이 검증되었다. 비판적 사고성향은 만족도가 중간 이하인 간호학생들의 비판적 사고성향에 비하여 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났으며(F=4.57 p=.012). 시간적 변화에 따라서는 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다(F=0.20, p=.821). 이에 반해, 임상수행능력은 간호학에 대한 만족도와(F=1.08, p=.343) 시간에 따라서 모두 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다(F=1.58, p=.210). 즉, 간호학생들의 만족도를 향상시키는 것이 간호사로서의 핵심역량 중 하나인 비판적 사고성향을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안이 될 수 있음을 유추할 수 있었다. 그러므로 추후 비판적 사고성향을 높여 간호대학생의 문제해결능력을 향상시키기 위해서는 간호학 만족도를 높일 수 있는 노력이 필요할 것이다.
