Purpose: This study aimed to examine the impact of fear and perception of infection risk on depression among service workers during prolonged Covid-19 service, and to provide basic data on the impact of COVID-19 prevention on the psychological health of service workers. Methods: Data were collected from workers nationwide from May 24 to 31, 2021. The data were analyzed using the t-test, ANOVA, Scheffé test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis, using SPSS 28. Results: It was found that 44.3% of the participants experienced depression (PHQ-9 total scores ≥ 10) during the Covid-19 pandemic. The general characteristics of service workers that made a difference in the level of depression were health status, smoking, and perception of infection risk. Conclusion: Social support from institutions is needed to treat depression caused by Covid-19 among workers in the service sector.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of a video exercise program on pain, daily living function and educational satisfaction for patients with spinal surgery. Methods: The data were collected from September 2008 to May 2009. The participants were 20 people in the experimental group and 20 in the control group. The video exercise therapy, which was 15 minutes in length, was shown twice a day for 8 weeks using a CD. Results: In the experimental group, pain decreased significantly, and daily living function and educational satisfaction increased significantly compared to the control group. Conclusion: In has been confirmed that video exercise therapy has positive effects on pain, daily living function and educational satisfaction for patients following spinal surgery.

Malignant lymphoma rarely occurs in the larynx and hypopharynx. Few cases of malignant lymphoma in the larynx were reported in Korea. However, malignant lymphoma in the hypopharynx had been not reported in Korea. A 68-year-old woman came to the outpatient clinic with a foreign body sensation in her throat. A round, smooth margin, bright pink-colored mass was confirmed by the laryngoscopy. The patient took neck computer tomography. A small bulging of mucosa was observed, but there was no peripheral infiltration or abnormally enlarged lymph nodes. We did excision using CO2 LASER. She was finally diagnosed with mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma (MALT lymphoma). After diagnosis, several image studies confirmed that there was no metastatic lesion. She got only radiotherapy after that and kept a complete response state for over 2 years.
