Fuzzy Modeling Based on Multiple Gaussian Functions (다중 가우시안 함수 기반 퍼지 모델링)

  • 본 논문은 다수의 가우시안(Gaussian) 함수를 가중치 함수로 이용하여 퍼지 소속 함수의 효율적인 동정기법을 제안한다. 먼저 데이터를 가장 잘 구분하는 특징 변수를 선정하고, 이에 대한 기본 소속 함수를 가우시안 함수로 설정한 후, 다수의 가우시안 함수를 곱하여 소속 함수를 동정한다. 해당 특징 변수에 대한 소속 함수의 동정 후, 다음 우선 순위의 특징 변수를 퍼지 규칙에 첨가하여 가장 높은 정확도를 획득할 때까지 반복적으로 소속 함수를 동정한다. 이러한 방법은 데이터의 분포 성향을 소속 함수에 반영시킬 수 있을 뿐만아니라, 알고리듬의 고속 연산도 가능하다. 제안한 방법의 성능을 검증하기 위해 iris 데이터에 적용하여 모의실험의 예를 보인다.

Screening and Clustering for Time-course Yeast Microarray Gene Expression Data using Gaussian Process Regression (효모 마이크로어레이 유전자 발현데이터에 대한 가우시안 과정 회귀를 이용한 유전자 선별 및 군집화)

  • This article introduces Gaussian process regression and shows its application with time-course microarray gene expression data. Gene screening for yeast cell cycle microarray expression data is accomplished with a ratio of log marginal likelihood that uses Gaussian process regression with a squared exponential covariance kernel function. Gaussian process regression fitting with each gene is done and shown with the nine top ranking genes. With the screened data the Gaussian model-based clustering is done and its silhouette values are calculated for cluster validity.

  • In this paper, we present a new and simple derivation of the Craig representation for the two-dimensional (2-D) Gaussian Q-function in the viewpoint of geometry. The geometric derivation also leads to an alternative Craig form for the 2-D Gaussian Q-function. The derived Craig form is newly obtained from the geometry of two wedge-shaped regions generated by the rotation of Cartesian coordinates over two correlated Gaussian noises. The presented Craig form can play a important role in computing the probability represented by the 2-D Gaussian Q-function.

Improvement of Retrieval Feedback Using Dynamic Interaction Function (동적 상호작용 함수를 애용한 검색 피드백의 개선)

  • The paper describes a method o( user feedback in order to enhance the retrieval system effectiveness. The existing fuzzification function adapting fuzzy technique has difficulty that 4 type graph is made each time user select components. In this paper, to overcome this weak point of feedback, we proposed the interaction function using gaussian function that gives different learning rate according to choice of components with same function. We suggest the most efficient dynamic interaction function based on comparison of retrieval performance according to parameter of function. And then, we will construct the efficient retrieval system.

  • 본 논문의 컴포넌트 검색 시스템의 성능을 향상시키기 위해 사용자 피드백을 효율적으로 수행하는 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 기존의 퍼지 기법이 적용된 삼각형 모양의 퍼지화 함수는 컴포넌트를 선택할 때마다 매번 4가지 경우의 그래프를 재구성해야 하는 어려움이 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 피드백의 단점을 극복하기 위하여 검색된 컴포넌트의 선택여부에 따라 동일한 함수이지만 학습률을 달리할 수 있는 가우시안 함수를 이용한 상호작용 함수를 제안한다. 가우시안 함수를 피드백 함수로 채택 시 함수의 파라메타에 따른 검색 성능을 비교하고, 이를 토대로 가장 효율적인 동적 상호작용 함수를 제안하여 소수의 컴포넌트로도 좋은 검색 결과가 가능한 검색 시스템을 구축하고자 한다.

  • The paper describes a method of user feedback in order to enhance the retrieval effectiveness. In this paper, to overcome a weak point of the existing feedback function adapting fuzzy technique, we proposed the interaction function using gaussian function that gives different learning rate according to choice of components with same function. And, we grade degree that the user opinion is reflected to a system by applying user profile to the feedback function. User retrieval feedback method is adaptive retrieval method that makes a slow change for a long time using feedback function adapting gaussian function and user profile.

  • This paper propose an adaptive control of symmetry contribution based generalized symmetry transform. which can be controlled symmetry contribution according to the intensity orientation of two pixels. In the proposed method, we define the C-D(convergent and divergent)plane which represents convergence and divergence region of gradient pairs. and used the gaussian phase wight function, with respect to the distance from the gradient pair to an extreme point, in calculating the symmetry contribution. The proposed method can be detect the object more efficiently by adaptive controlling the cut-off frequency of the gaussian phase wight function. To evaluate a performance of the proposed method, we compare the proposed method and conventional GST method in various images including IR image. we prove that the proposed method have better performance in object detection.

  • 본 논문에서는 대표적인 시스템 모델링 도구중의 하나인 RBF 뉴럴 네트워크(Radial Basis Function Neural Network)를 설계하고 모델을 최적화하기 위하여 최적화 알고리즘인 PSO(Particle Swarm Optimization) 알고리즘을 이용하였다. 즉, 모델의 최적화에 주요한 영향을 미치는 모델의 파라미터들을 PSO 알고리즘을 이용하여 동정한다. 제안된 RBF 뉴럴 네트워크는 은닉층에서의 활성함수로서 일반적으로 많이 사용되어지는 가우시안 커널함수를 사용한다. 더 나아가 모델의 최적화를 위하여 각 커널함수의 중심값은 HCM 클러스터링에 기반을 두어 중심값을 결정하고, PSO 알고리즘을 통하여 가우시안 커널함수의 분포상수, 은닉층에서의 노드 수 그리고 다수의 입력을 가질 경우 입력의 종류를 동정한다. 제안한 모델의 성능을 평가하기 위해 Mackey-Glass 시계열 공정 데이터를 적용하였으며 제안된 모델의 근사화와 일반화 능력을 분석한다.

A Study on Variation and Determination of Gaussian function Using SNR Criteria Function for Robust Speech Recognition (잡음에 강한 음성 인식에서 SNR 기준 함수를 사용한 가우시안 함수 변형 및 결정에 관한 연구)

  • In case of spectral subtraction for noise robust speech recognition system, this method often makes loss of speech signal. In this study, we propose a method that variation and determination of Gaussian function at semi-continuous HMM(Hidden Markov Model) is made on the basis of SNR criteria function, in which SNR means signal to noise ratio between estimation noise and subtracted signal per frame. For proving effectiveness of this method, we show the estimation error to be related with the magnitude of estimated noise through signal waveform. For this reason, Gaussian function is varied and determined by SNR. When we test recognition rate by computer simulation under the noise environment of driving car over the speed of 80㎞/h, the proposed Gaussian decision method by SNR turns out to get more improved recognition rate compared with the frequency subtracted and non-subtracted cases.

  • This paper analyzed the change of subthreshold current for channel doping concentration of double gate(DG) MOSFET. Poisson's equation had been used to analyze the potential distribution in channel, and Gaussian function had been used as carrier distribution. The potential distribution was obtained as the analytical function of channel dimension, using the boundary condition. The subthreshold current had been analyzed for channel doping concentration, and projected range and standard projected deviation of Gaussian function. Since this analytical potential model was verified in the previous papers, we used this model to analyze the subthreshold current. As a result, we know the subthreshold current was influenced on parameters of Gaussian function and channel doping concentration for DGMOSFET.
