Model-Based Intelligent Framework Interface for UAV Autonomous Mission (무인기 자율임무를 위한 모델 기반 지능형 프레임워크 인터페이스)

  • Recently, thanks to the development of artificial intelligence technologies such as image recognition, research on unmanned aerial vehicles is being actively conducted. In particular, related research is increasing in the field of military drones, which costs a lot to foster professional pilot personnel, and one of them is the study of an intelligent framework for autonomous mission performance of reconnaissance drones. In this study, we tried to design an intelligent framework for unmanned aerial vehicles using the methodology of designing an intelligent framework for service robots. For the autonomous mission performance of unmanned aerial vehicles, the intelligent framework and unmanned aerial vehicle module must be smoothly linked. However, it was difficult to provide interworking for drones using periodic message protocols with model-based interfaces of intelligent frameworks for existing service robots. First, the message model lacked expressive power for periodic message protocols, followed by the problem that interoperability of asynchronous data exchange methods of periodic message protocols and intelligent frameworks was not provided. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a message model extension method for message periodic description to secure the model's expressive power for the periodic message model, and proposes periodic and asynchronous data exchange methods using the extended model to provide interoperability of different data exchange methods.

The Effects of Medical Students' Self-Directed Learning Ability, Self-regulated Learning, and Communication Ability on Self-Efficacy in Performing Medical Treatment (의과대학생의 자기주도학습능력, 자기조절학습, 의사소통능력이 진료수행 자기효능감에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was a descriptive research study targeting medical students to determine the impact of self-directed learning ability, self-regulated learning, and communication ability on self-efficacy in performing medical treatment. This study randomly selected medical students from Region J, located in Province G, as the approximate population, and a total of 125 copies were finally analyzed. Descriptive statistics were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, correlation, and multiple regression analysis using IBM SPSS/25. Self-efficacy in performing medical treatment was related to self-directed learning ability (r=.61, p<.001), self-regulated learning (r=.50, p<.001), and communication ability (r=.33, p<.001). There was a positive correlation with all of them. As a result of analyzing the variables that affect the subject's self-efficacy in performing medical treatment using hierarchical multiple regression, self-directed learning ability was found to be the factor that best predicts self-efficacy in performing medical treatment, followed by self-regulated learning and communication ability. The total explanatory power was 46.6%. Acquiring specialized knowledge and becoming a doctor after graduation through clinical practice and acquiring the basic clinical practice skills necessary to successfully perform one's duties are important tasks that medical students must accomplish. Therefore, in order to improve medical students' self-efficacy in performing medical treatment, the importance of improving health care, major satisfaction, and life satisfaction must be recognized and managed. In addition, efforts to develop programs and improve systematic systems that can improve self-directed learning, self-regulated learning, and communication skills should also be supported.

The Effects of Human Relationship Class Using Simsang-Poetry Therapy on the Mental Health of Nursing Students (심상 시치료를 활용한 인간관계 수업이 간호대생의 정신건강에 미치는 효과)

  • This study shows the effectiveness of mental health by applying the Light of the Mind program to 45 nursing students who applied for the Human Relations class at JS University and showed 90% attendance once a week for a total of 10 sessions and 60 minutes per session. The 'Light of the Heart' program was carried out in the Simsang-Poetry therapy stage and technique, an integrated art and cultural therapy that recognizes the 'light' representing 'inner positivity'. As a result of phenomenological and qualitative analysis of the participants' descriptions, the categories of source, healing power, positive perception, self-realization, positive emotion, potential, and self-awareness were shown, and there was a statistically significant difference in the experimental group compared to the control group when analyzing before and after the resilience scale. This study is significant in that it improved the mental health of nursing students through human relations classes. It is necessary to develop and carry out various programs for the promotion of human relations and mental health of college students, and it will be helpful to the mental health of modern people by expanding this program to the general public.

Gastric Metastasis from Gastric-Type Mucinous Adenocarcinoma of Uterine Cervix: A Case Report (자궁경부 위형 점액샘암종의 위 전이: 증례 보고)

  • Gastric metastasis (GM) from cervical cancer is extremely rare, and only a few cases have been reported in the English literature. Gastric-type mucinous adenocarcinomas (GAS) of the uterine cervix are rare. GAS is an aggressive cancer commonly found in advanced stages; however, GM has not been reported. This study presents a rare case of GM from GAS of the uterine cervix in a 61-year-old female and describes the radiological findings of both the GM and cervical mucinous adenocarcinoma. GM appeared as a poor enhancing submucosal mass. The cervical mucinous adenocarcinoma appeared as an infiltrating mass with poor contrast enhancement. It exhibited mildly high and low signal intensities on the diffusion-weighted image and apparent diffusion coefficient map, respectively. This case is extremely rare and challenging to diagnose; however, if cervical cancer is an human papillomavirus-independent GAS type and a submucosal lesion is found in the stomach, the possibility of metastasis with a pattern similar to our case could be considered.

  • This descriptive research study aims to identify the importance and satisfaction of new advanced safety education and marine telemedicine service, and to identify the priority of educational needs for trainees who have received advanced safety reeducation. Data from 190 trainees who conducted advanced safety retraining at the MarineCom were used for the study. As a result of the study, the vital sign measurement method was selected as the top priority for the new advanced safety education, and the nervous system, circulatory system, and surgical system were selected as the top priority for the educational need by type of marine telemedicine guidance. These results suggest that there was a high demand for education on vital sign measurement methods in order to determine the appropriate first aid by grasping the overall condition of the patient in the event of an emergency. Working and monotonous daily life acted as a cause of mental and physical stress, so the incidence of patients in the nervous system, circulatory system, and surgical system was high, and compared to other systems, it was judged that the demand for education was high because the patient was related to life.

A Study on the Experience of Writing a Learning Reflection Journal : Focusing on the case of Biblical Teaching Method Class (학습성찰일지 작성 경험에 관한 연구 : 성서교수법 수업사례를 중심으로)

  • Purpose of study: The purpose of this study is to analyze the experience of writing a learning reflection journal, identify the effects, and propose an effective learning reflection journal activity way. Research content and method: This study examined the theoretical background of the concept and educational effect of the learning reflection journal through literature review in terms of educational and Christian educational aspects, and analyzed the learning reflection journal experience through the interviews with six students. Through this, this study identifies the effectiveness of the learning reflection journal and suggests effective learning reflection journal activity way that can be applied to training that can grow as a Christian educator who practices what he or she know through major classes. Conclusions and Suggestions: For effective learning reflection journal activities, it was proposed to reduce the number of review and reflection questions so that they would not be burdensome, to include questions in a balanced way, to help learners to improve class attitudes. It was also proposed that the submission period and the number of writing journals should be agreed upon with the students at the beginning of the semester.

Predictive Factors of Positive Thinking, Perceived Health Status and Aging Anxiety on the Meaning of Life in Middle-aged Women (중년여성의 긍정적 사고, 지각된 건강상태와 노화불안이 삶의 의미에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is a descriptive research study to identify middle-aged women's positive thinking, perceived health status, aging anxiety, and meaning of life, identify relationships between variables, and analyze predictive factors affecting the meaning of life. This study was approved by IRB (1040117-202208-HR-024-01), from September 10, 2022 to February 28, 2023, data were collected from 130 middle-aged women. The data was analyzed using SPSS WIN 26.0 version. Positive thinking and perceived health status(r=.43, p<.001), positive thinking and meaning of life(r=.54, p<.001), perceived health state and meaning of life(r=.31, p<.001) showed a statistically significant positive correlation. Positive thinking and aging anxiety(r=-.20, p=.021) and perceived health state and aging anxiety(r=-.46, p<.001) showed a statistically significant negative correlation. Aging anxiety and meaning of life(r=-.10, p=.281) were not statistically significant. Factors influencing the meaning of life among middle-aged women were found to be positive thinking (𝛽=.52, p<.001), menopausal status (𝛽=-.22, p=.003), with meaning of life (F=32.49, p<.001) explaining 32.8%. As the positive thinking of middle-aged women has been identified as a predictor of the meaning of life, it is considered necessary to develop an intervention program to promote positive thinking of middle-aged women.

Static Effect in Magnetotelluric Responses: An Implication from the EM Integral Equation (MT 탐사 반응에서 정적효과: 적분방정식을 통한 고찰)

  • This tutorial explains that the static effect in the magnetotelluric (MT) survey is a physical phenomenon caused by charges accumulated on the boundaries of subsurface inhomogeneities. To facilitate understanding of the physical phenomenon, differences between static induction and charge accumulation on the boundary are explained and analyzed with help of schematic illustrations. Subsequently, from the electromagnetic (EM) integral equation formulation, it is clearly shown that the secondary electric field due to charges accumulated on the interface in the presence of the primary field appears as the static effect. Therefore, except in the cases of the layered earth or a two-dimensional earth with transverse magnetic (TM) mode excitation, the static effect always exists in MT responses and further, it is not 'static' but rather frequency dependent. Despite the fact that the static effect is a secondary electric field due to inhomogeneity, inevitable under-sampling in the frequency and spatial domains prevent the effect from being handled properly in numerical inversion. Therefore, considering the practical aspects of the MT survey, which cannot be a continuous measurement covering the entire survey area over a wide frequency band, a three-dimensional (3-D) inversion incorporating the static shift as a constraint with the Gaussian distribution is introduced. To enhance understanding of the integral equation EM modeling, the formulation of the 3-D integral equation and mathematical analyses of the Green tensor and scattering current are described in detail in the Appendix.

The Impact of Interpersonal Skills, Psychosocial Health, and Confidence in Performing Nursing Skills on Clinical Performance of Nursing Students Who Experienced Clinical Practice after COVID-19 (COVID-19 이후 임상실습을 경험한 간호대학생의 대인관계능력, 사회심리적 건강, 간호술기수행자신감이 임상수행능력에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted to identify factors influencing clinical performance among nursing students who experienced clinical practice due to COVID-19 and provide basic data to improve clinical performance. This study collected data from October 10 to October 27, 2023, targeting 144 students at two nursing schools in G Province. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, difference analysis (t-est, on-way ANOVA), correlation, and hierarchical regression analysis. As a result of the study, in Model 1, extrovert and mixed personality types were found to be significant predictive factors explaining clinical performance. The goodness of fit of Model 1 was statistically significant, and the explanatory power was 9.2% (F=8.256, p<.001). In Model 2, interpersonal skills and confidence in nursing skills appeared as significant predictive factors explaining clinical performance ability. Confidence in nursing skills was the best predictor of clinical performance, followed by interpersonal skills. The explanatory power of the model was 50.1%, an increase of 41.3% compared to Model 1. Model fit was also statistically significant. Simulation education that reproduces various situations should be strengthened to increase opportunities to perform direct nursing and improve nursing students' nursing capabilities. If you improve your confidence in nursing skills and interpersonal skills through simulation education, your clinical performance will ultimately improve, and this will be able to be demonstrated as a nursing competency when employed as a nurse.

An Exploratory Study on Narrative Elements-Based Therapeutic Rap Protocol for Enhancing Discourse Skills in Adolescents With Mild Intellectual Disabilities (경도 지적장애 청소년의 담화기술 향상을 위한 이야기 구성요소 기반 치료적 랩 프로토콜의 탐색적 연구)

  • This case study aimed to develop a therapeutic rap protocol based on narrative components for improving discourse skills of adolescents with mild intellectual disability (ID) and to explore its applicability. The protocol matched narrative elements (background, initiating event, internal response, attempts, and reaction) with rap components (verse, hook, and interjections), guiding participants to narrate their experiences in a connected discourse form. The protocol was also structured to gradually increase in difficulty, considering the developmental levels of adolescents with ID and it included steps for understanding discourse structures, applying narrative elements to content creation, and expanding narratives. Post-intervention analysis of the stories and rap lyrics created by participants to express their real-life experiences showed that participants increased the length of their stories and rap compositions, with notable improvements in rhythmicity and the inclusion of narrative elements. These findings suggest that, instead of constructing rap from random utterances, providing a structured framework reflecting discourse structure enhanced participants' understanding of event context and logical connections. Furthermore, the various elements and rhythmic features of rap can strengthen motivation and organization in discourse. This study highlights the therapeutic potential of rap in addressing the unique developmental needs of adolescents with mild ID, thereby diversifying and systematizing music therapy interventions for this population.
