This study aimed to express the experiences of the parents who lost their children by suicides in their own words from their own perspectives by van Manen(2000)'s hermeneutic phenomenological approach. The analysis of the words expressed by the research participants led to the following five fundamental themes. These are 'broken heart, sinner's grief, land of exile and time stood still, pains to be comforted, and days ahead with half-stitched wounds'. Several distinctions are found due to cultural differences from Korean parents. First, whereas the Western parents see the cause of their child's suicide as his/her independent issue, the Korean parents blame themselves entirely. This may have stemmed from the overly inter-dependency between the parents and the child. Second, whereas the Western perspective views the suicide as a type of illness from the individual's depression. The Korean perspective views the suicide as a shame that disgraces the parents or the family. This negative social perspective intensifies the self-blame and social isolation. Third, the Westerners recognize the prevention and responsibility of suicide resting with the society and government, but the Korean society recognize suicide as personal or family matter. Based on the finding above, I proposed a number of practical measures to aid the surviving parents who belong to a group with extremely high suicidal rates.

In this paper, we propose and describe the system to visualize the story of contents such as movies and novels. Character-net is applied as story model in order to visualize story. However, it is the form to be accumulated for total movie story, though it can depict the relationship between characters. We have developed the system that analyzes and shows the variation of Character-net and characters' tendency in order to represent story variation depending on movie progression. This system is composed by two windows that can play and analyze sequential Character-nets by time, and can analyze time variant graph of characters' degree centrality. First window has a function that supports to find important story points like the scenes that main characters appear or meet firstly. Second window supports a function that track each character's tendency or a variation of his tendency through analyzing in-degree graph and out-degree. This paper describes the proposed system and discusses additional requirements.

The late period of Choson was the renaissance of the modern literature and art of the 'common-people'. Appearance of the common-people class following the emergence of such literature and art highlighted the common costume culture and evoked a fashion. The common trend of fashion of all classes at that time included a exaggerated hair style, a jacket short and tight enough to expose the breasts, a belt looking like a sensual silhouette of a woman body were expressed. Appreciating the human body could be regarded as some social advances at that age, when all the woman's clothing behaviors were restricted and controlled by the Confucian rules. Although eroticism itself is quite dependent on the basic instinct of a human being, this way of expressing eroticism had a social significance, in that women tried to be freed from the long-lasting social bondage. Therefore, the erotic mode during the late half of Choson reflected the society as well the women's repression. In addition, was the disclosure of humanity shadowed by the crusts of the hypocritical and superficial Confucian morality. It implied advances and modernity of the literature and art of the common-people at that time.

Along with recent rapid growth in social media and mobile media in the web 2.0 flow, represented as openness, participation, and sharing, general and various changes are essential not only in economical, social, and cultural aspects, but also in politics. Korea is finding its position in leading the upcoming social media market based upon the past IT technologies. In the past years, the people of Korea have drawn attention in the international society as early adopters in new IT products. In the current dynamic varying social media environment, the politics must put efforts to utilize a method emphasing on communication with the people. Efforts to change are essential to modify the vision of organization as smart citizens party and implement the social media strategy. In this study, we investigate and suggest methods to change in the social media environment maintaining close relation with the people in order to unite with them. Our reports will help to revisit the existing government/party operation and to rethink about the efficient operating strategy suitable for social media environment.

Although Incheon metropolitan city is the third largest city in Korea, it is called 'the gateway to Seoul', 'the second city of port', and 'the satellite city'. The people in Incheon as well as other regions unconsciously recognize this city as 'border' and 'periphery' of Seoul through those expressions. These perceptions also develop a negative sense of place about Incheon. This study starts with analysis about marginal landscape images of Incheon in texts such as movies, stories, and geography textbooks. The represented text as movie has a gap between real space and it. Nevertheless, Its strong point is a making problems clear about recognition of reality. I will inquire the origin of senses of place about Incheon through analysis of represented texts. Moreover, I will present the notion of 'flight' that stands on the basis of Deleuze's Nomadism. Here, 'flight' means that the active subject continuously challenges and reforms the nature of periphery and dependency, the capital, and the economic subordination, and it will have to be new identity and direction of Incheon.

This study aims to analyze the film "Never Let Me" by human value which is to be realized in the social structure suppressed by the power of life and the power of discipline in Foucault 's power theory. After 18century having changed monarch power holding the power of life-and-death that enforced corporal punishment, bio-power that corrected body and granted ability suitable discipline to people makes people worked like machine. In control of the bio-power, human achieved safe desire that cure disease and prolong life-span and worked as producer goods. School controls body and make people internalized rule using discipline for working bio-power efficiently. There is differentiation between this movie and the other about human clone. The clones adapt role as organ donator without resistance and there is no conflict between original and copy. Instead of preexistence novel and movie that is set in future, it is a form of past retrospect from the 1970s to 1990s. having emotions, They find independence ego and realize value of life in finite living by depending relation or undergoing loss.

As the usage of e-cigarettes and its effects on health harms receive attentions, the debate over regulating e-cigarette industry's' social media marketing has been heated. While the industry has aggressively employed social media marketing such as YouTube, little research has examined what kinds of e-cigarette information is delivered to Korean viewers through YouTube. This study investigated the presence of product-related information and health harm information in the videos, and the characteristics of YouTube creators. The proportion of female creators was smaller than male creators, but more than female smoking rates. The results showed that product-related information such as taste, design and convenience was mentioned more than half the videos, but health ham was mentioned less. Videos which mentioned convenience and design tended to not mention health harm. These results could be used to support the current regulation approach over e-cigarette YouTube marketing.

This study observes the case of Kakao-Page, a webtoon and web novel company, revealing the relationship between long-tail strategy and corporate competence in the cultural content industry market. This study investigated the various expansion strategies of Kakao-Page and investigated the strength of the strategy through value, rare, inimitability, and organization the method of VRIO analysis. The biggest strength of Kakao-Page is its diverse range of products ranging from 66,000, and not only does it gain merit as a long-tail, but it also becomes the core of the vertical integration and various expansion strategy. The study points out that the ability to secure a wide range of products is essential for platform content companies seeking access to the market. Also, the need for follow-up research regarding content platforms and long-tail.

In 2010, the Ministry of National Defense decided to build a MegaCenter including the cloud computing technology by 2014, as part of the '2012 Information Service Plan', which is now underway. The Cloud computing system environment should be designed applying cloud computing technology and policy for an efficient infrastructure that many IT resources are available in the data center as a concentrated form. That is, the system should be designed in such a way that clouding services will be efficiently provided to meet the needs of users and there will not be unnecessary waste of resources. However, in order to build an optimal system, it should be possible to predict the service performance and the resource availability at the initial phase of system design. In this paper, using the CloudAnalyst simulator to predict availability of the K-defence cloud computing system service, conducts cloud modeling and analysis of the 'Facebook', one of the most famous social network service applications with most users in the world. An Optimal K-Defense cloud computing design model is proposed through simulation results.

The halophile, Micrococcus sp. which produces RNase was isolated from salted and fermented food. The optimum growth condition of the Micrococcus sp. in pH 7.0 of complex medium containing 2M NaCl, and at $35^{\circ}C$. Optimum condition for enzyme production by this strain was when it was grown in the CM medium, containing 2% yeast extract, 1.5% casamino acid and 2M NaCl in the initial pH 8.5 for 2 days. The maximal RNase activity was observed at pH 8.0 and $55^{\circ}C$. The Km value for RNA was determined to be 5mg/ml by Lineweaver-Burk plot. The RNase activity in the absence of NaCl was maximum, but it was completely lost by adding of 1.25M NaCl and it was increased above 1.25M to 2.5M NaCl. When 2.5M NaCl was added, the activity of RNase showed 45% of maximum value.
