Scene Change Detection Using Local $x-^{2}-Test$ (지역적 $x-^{2}$-테스트를 이용한 장면전환검출 기법)

  • This paper presents a method that allows for detection of all rapid and gradual scene changes. The method features a combination of the current color histogram and the local $X^{2}-test$. For the purpose of this paper, the $X^{2}-test$ scheme outperforming existing histogram-based algorithms was transformed, and a local $X^{2}-test$ in which weights were applied in accordance with the degree of brightness was used to increase detection efficiency in the segmentation of color values. This Method allows for analysis and segmentation of complex time-varying images in the most general and standardized manner possible Experiments were performed to compare the proposed local $X^{2}-test$ method with the current $X^{2}-test$ method.

Evaluation to X-ray Tube Variable Beam Limiting Device Ability Test, Collimation and Beam Alignment Test of Diagnostic X-ray Unit (진단용 X선발생장치의 X선관 가변조리개 성능검사와 조사야일치검사 및 중심선속 일치검사에 대한 평가)

  • This study performed and evaluated the performance test in 40 general X-ray units among diagnostic X-ray units, which were being used in hospitals of gyeongsangnam-do gimhae-si through X-ray tube variable limiting device ability test, the light field and X-ray field alignment test and collimation and beam alignment test of diagnostic X-ray unit. The results are as followings: In a variable beam limiting device ability test, the result of maximum X-ray field test showed that 4(10%) of were incongruent while the result of minimum X-ray field test represented that 5(12.5%) of were incongruent. The result of the light field and X-ray field alignment test showed 23(57.5%) of were within 2% of maximum permissible level and the other 17(42.5%) units were misalignment. The result of beam alignment test represented that 11(27.5%) coincided and another 11(27.5%) within $0.5^{\circ}$ respectively, 10(25%) were $0.6^{\circ}-1.5^{\circ}$ intervals, 7(17.5%) were $1.6^{\circ}-3^{\circ}$ and 1(2.5%) were more than $3^{\circ}$.

Comparision of Combined Stress Tests for Predicting Field Emergence of Lotus corniculatus and Trifolium pratense (Birdsfoot Trefoil과 Red Clover의 포장출현율 예측을 위한 몇가지 Stress 검정법 비교)

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the test methods for predicting field emergence of Lotus corniculatus and Trifolium pratense. Four seed lots of two herbage legumes were controlled deteriorated, accelerated aged before germination test and conductivity of each seed lot was determined. Those germination percent and conductivity of seed lots were compared with actual field emergence rate. Field emergence rate could be estimated by the controlled deterioration test ($R^2$=0.687), by the accelerated aging test ($R^2$=0.260), and by the conductivity test ($R^2$=0.238). A multiple regression equation for predicting field emergence rate(equation omitted) was estimated as (equation omitted)=-198.16 + 2.3493X$_1$-1.5564X$_2$ + 1.9812X$_3$where X$_1$, percent germination of controlled deterioration test ; X$_2$, percent germination of accelerated aging test; and X$_3$, conductivity of solute leakage in the conductivity test. Conclusively, unless multiple tests are not available, the controlled deterioration test was comparatively high efficient for predicting field emergence rate, however, the combined measurements of those three tests can enhance the efficiency.

  • In this paper, we introduce the contents of research on the establishment of an evaluation environment for autonomous cooperative driving platform for commercial vehicles based on V2X communication. For the evaluation of the autonomous cooperative driving platform based on V2X communication, various standards, standards, and guidelines for test evaluation should be developed and provided to the test subject, along with the establishment of test beds such as roads and V2X infrastructure that can apply various driving scenarios. do. In addition, based on this, various reference equipment and test equipment for actual test and evaluation should be developed. In this paper, various technologies, standards, equipment, and construction infrastructure developed to construct the evaluation environment for autonomous cooperative driving platform for commercial vehicles based on V2X communication are introduced.

  • Many epidemiological studies investigate whether an association exists between a binary risk factor X and a binary response variable Y. They analyse whether an observed association between X and Y persists when the level of another factor Z that might influence the association is controlled. This involves testing conditional independence of X and Y controlling for Z. The Mantel-Haenszel test is most widely used to test conditional independence for sparse tables. But if the association between X and Y varies along the levels of Z, Mantel-Haenszel test has a low power problem. In this study, we propose an alternative test procedure which overcomes the low power problem in that case. We find out the null distribution of the alternative test statistic and compare its performance with the Mantel-Haenszel test by simulation.

  • $Mo_xW_{1-x}Si_2$ heaters were fabricated by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) process and post sintering process. To validate the reliability of the $Mo_xW_{1-x}Si_2$ heaters, the accelerated life test (ALT) was conducted, and then lifetime to $Mo_xW_{1-x}Si_2$ heaters was estimated by using Minitab programs. Also, the failure analysis of $Mo_xW_{1-x}Si_2$ heaters after ALT was performed through electrical and structural properties. As the results, it was confirmed that the dominant failure mode of $Mo_xW_{1-x}Si_2$ heaters is the crack formation in heaters and the delamination of protective $SiO_2$ layers.

  • A survival variable is a non-negative random variable X with distribution function F(t) satisfying F(0) : 0 and a survival function F(t): 1-F(t). This variable is said to be New Better than Used of specified age t$_{0}$ if F(x+ t$_{0}$)$\leq$F(x).F(t$_{0}$) for all x$\geq$0 and a fixed t$_{0}$. We propose the test for H$_{0}$ : F(x+t$_{0}$)=F(x).F(t$_{0}$) for all x$\geq$0 against H$_1$: F(x+t$_{0}$) $\leq$ F(x).F(t$_{0}$) for all x$\geq$0 when the specified age to is unknown but can be estimated from the data when t$_{0}$$_{p}$, the pth percentile of F. This test statistic, which is based on the normalized spacings between the ordered observations, is readily applied in the case of small sample. Also, our test is more simple than Ahmad's test (1998). Finally, the performance of our test is presented.our test is presented.

A Study on the Correlation between Advanced Small Punch Test and Charpy V-notch Test on X20CrMoV121 and 2.25Cr1Mo steels Weldment (X20CrMoV121강과 2.25Cr1Mo강 용접부의 ASP 시험과 CVN 충격 시험의 상관관계에 대한 연구)

  • Charpy V-Notch test is commonly used to evaluate fracture toughness. However, since the region to be evaluated is limited to bulk material due to the specimen size required, individual evaluation of micro-structures on weldment is very difficult. In this study, ASP(Advanced Small Punch) test was carried out to evaluate material degradation and fracture toughness on the B.M, W.M and each micro-structures of HAZ for X20CrMoV121 and 2.25Cr1Mo steels with artificial aging time. In addition, to evaluate fracture toughness and material degradation of B.M and W.M of X20CrMoV121 steels with aging times, CVN (Charpy V-notch) test was performed. And then the correlation between ASP and CVN test on X20CrMoV121 steels was obtained. Furthermore, through this correlation, material degradation property of each micro-region of the HAZ in weldment, which was impossible to be evaluated by the CVN test, can be estimated and determined.

  • Many research activities to reduce accidents on the road and to improve traffic efficiency have been performed and almost research projects are developing technologies and services based on C-ITS technology nowadays. The main concept of C-ITS is improving road safety and traffic efficiency by sharing and reproducing information between various elements. To accomplish this goal, V2X communication technology has been adopted. In Korea, we have studied V2X communication technology in support of SMART-Highway research project and are managing test-bed to verify the developed technology recently. In this paper, we introduce SMART-Highway test-bed and show the procedure and result of V2X communication performance analysis on the test-bed.

  • SCTP is a next generation transmission protocol that is more efficient for large scale data transmission like as multimedia data. SCTP protocol is supported in recent linux kernel 2.6.0-testX. SCTP which is supported in linux kernel 2.6 implemented in lksctp package styles. It is necessary that SCTP API is analyzed and is compared with TCP, UDP protocol. So, in this paper describes the analyzing and testing SCTP API that is supported in linux kernel 2.6.0-testX.
