Since L$\ddot{o}$b's announcement of his solution to Henkin's problem (L$\ddot{o}$b (1954, 1955)) there has been successful and fruitful research on provability logic tied up with modal logic. Specially, L$\ddot{o}$b's Theorem is of far-reaching significance in the following meta-mathematical and philosophical sense.

The ecotoxicological effects of 4-tert-octylphenol were observed on Harpacticoid copepoda Tigriopus japonicus s.l. gathered and cultured from tidal pool of Korean coast. There were no significant differences in survival rate (except 10 $\mu$g/L; 70.00%) and sex ratio (except 30 $\mu$g/L) on T. japonicus s.l. exposed to 4-tert-octylphenol. However, 4-tert-octylphenol induced developmental delay (copepodite emergence day and adult male mergence day) and retardation of first brooding day of adult female. Moreover the body size and biomass decreased at 4-tert-octylphenol exposure. As a result, detailed life-cycle research of T. japonicus s.l. may yield potential bioindicators for environmental monitoring and assessment.

A series of S-(2,2-diethoxycarbonyl-1-phenylethyl)-L-cysteine derivatives (10a-e) were synthesized from the reaction of $\beta$$\beta$-diethoxycarbonylstyrene with L-cysteine in 1:1 aqueous methanol. Thus, S-(2,2-diethoxycarbonyl-1-phenylethyl)-L-cysteine( 10a), S-[2,2-diethoxycarbonyl-1-(3',4'-methylendioxy)ph enylethyl]-L-cysteine (10b), S-[2,2-diethoxycarbonyl-1-(3',4',5'-trimethoxy)phe nylethyl]-L-cyseine (10c), S-[2,2-diethoxycarbonyl-1-(p-hydroxy)phenylethyl] -L-cysteine (10d), S-[2,2-diethoxycarbonyl-1-(p-methoxy)phenylethyl] -L-cysteine (10e) were obtained in moderate to excellent yields. The structure of the adducts was characterized by analytical and spectral data. The effects of pH upon the product yields were also briefly examined.

한국산 퉁가리속 어류의 종간및 종내 집단간의 유전적 근연관계와 변이정도를 알아보기 위하여 남한의 6개 수계의 7개 지역에서 채집된 420개분 표본을 대상으로 전기영동에 의한 유전자분석과 형태비교를 실시하였다. 집단간 유전적 변이정도를 분석한 결과 L. andersoni 3개 집단에서는 P=21.3%, H=0.068이였고 L. mediadiposalis 의 경우는 P=16.3%, H=0.056으로 나타났다. 또 L.andersoni 및 L. mediadiposalis 의 집단간 유전적 평균근연치는 각기 S=0.592, S=0.675이었고 그 중 금강집단이 가장 근연치가 먼 것으로 나타났으며 종간 근연치는 S=0.530이었다. 외부형태형질에 대한 discriminant function analysis를 실시한 결과 L. andersoni 의 금강 집단이 뚜렷하게 구분되어 전기영동결과와 일치함을 보였다. 이상의 결과에서와 같이 종내 집단간에서도 현저한 유전적 차이를 나타내고 었어 같은 수 계안의 집단간에 대하여서도 더욱 자세한 유전적, 형태적 비교분석이 있어야 할 것으로 사료된다.

Background: Manual traction with a belt is a physiotherapy treatment method that reduces disk pressure and widens the disk space. In clinical settings, it is applied to numerous patients with herniated intervertebral disk (HIVD). This study aimed to identify the effects of manual traction with a belt on the intervertebral space in patients with lumbar HIVDs. Methods: The intervention was performed on 17 patients with lumbar HIVDs who were divided into two groups: one with eight patients having HIVD at L4~L5 and another group with nine patients having HIVD at L5~S1. The participants received manual traction with a belt twice a week for 12 weeks, and radiographic imaging was used to visualize the intervertebral space and compare it before and after treatment. Results: Manual traction with a belt increased the lumbar intervertebral space at L4~L5 and L5~S1 in patients with L4~L5 HIVD. A significant difference was observed in the L4-L5 distance (p<.01); however, no significant difference was observed in the L5~S1 distance (p>.05). The intervertebral space significantly increased at both L4~L5 and L5~S1 in patients with L5~S1 HIVD (p<.05). Conclusion: Thus, manual traction with a belt increased the intervertebral space in patients with L4~L5 and L5~S1 HIVDs. These results are expected to guide studies on manual traction with belts in clinical settings in the future. Further studies using the present research as an objective study method are anticipated.

Streptomyces griseus trypsin (SGT)을 코드하는 sprT 유전자와 그 하류에 존재하는 두 개의 조절 유전자 rsgtR1 및 sgtR2를 동시에 갖고 있는 재조합 벡터 pWHM3-TR1R2를 S. lividans TK24 및 S. griseus IFO 13350에 도입하여, 트립신의 생산성을 더욱 증대시킬 수 있는 배지를 조사하였다. S. lividans TK24/pWHM3-TR1R2의 경우 배양 5일을 기준으로 R2YE에서 가장 높은 생산성(0.74 unit/mL)을 나타냈고, C5/L. (0.66 unit/mL), Livid (0.08 unit/mL), NDSK(0.06 unit/mL) 순으로 나타났다 S. griseus IFO 13350/pWHM3-TR1R2의 경우에는 전반적으로 배양 7일에 트립신 활성이 가장 높았으며, C5/L (1.518 unit/mL), R2YE(1.284 unit/mL), NDSK (0.932 unit/mL), Livid (0.295 unit/mL) 순으로 나타났다. S. griseus IFO 13350/pWHM3-TR1R2를 C5/L 배지에서 7일간 배양한 배양액으로부터 $25%{\sim}60%$ ammonium sulfate 침전, CM-sepharose 및 Sp-sepharose column chromatography를 통하여 트립신을 고순도로 정제할 수 있었다. 최종 purification fold는 6.5배, 순수 정제된 트립신의 specific activity는 69,252 unit/mg, 회수율은 1.4%이었다.

Let L(s, χ) be the Dirichlet L-series associated with an f-periodic complex function χ. Let P(X) ∈ ℂ[X]. We give an expression for ∑^f_n=1 χ(n)P(n) as a linear combination of the L(-n, χ)'s for 0 ≤ n < deg P(X). We deduce some consequences pertaining to the Chowla hypothesis implying that L(s, χ) > 0 for s > 0 for real Dirichlet characters χ. To date no extended numerical computation on this hypothesis is available. In fact by a result of R. C. Baker and H. L. Montgomery we know that it does not hold for almost all fundamental discriminants. Our present numerical computation shows that surprisingly it holds true for at least 65% of the real, even and primitive Dirichlet characters of conductors less than 10⁶. We also show that a generalized Chowla hypothesis holds true for at least 72% of the real, even and primitive Dirichlet characters of conductors less than 10⁶. Since checking this generalized Chowla's hypothesis is easy to program and relies only on exact computation with rational integers, we do think that it should be part of any numerical computation verifying that L(s, χ) > 0 for s > 0 for real Dirichlet characters χ. To date, this verification for real, even and primitive Dirichlet characters has been done only for conductors less than 2·10⁵.

봉사-학습(Service-Learning : S-L)은 교육과정과 봉사활동을 연계하여 반성적 성찰과 상호 호혜의 가치를 통해 학생들의 학업능력과 사회적 책임의식을 함양할 수 있는 경험학습 기반의 교수-학습 방법이다. 본 연구는 예비과학교사들을 대상으로 '과학사 및 과학탐구' 강좌를 S-L으로 운영한 사례를 분석했다. 과학사 전공 교과목과 연계된 S-L 강좌는 '준비-실행-평가'의 3단계 과정으로 진행되었고, 3개 학교를 대상으로 5회 실시하였다. 수업관찰과 자기 보고 형식의 성찰 일지, 설문지 등을 수집하여 S-L에 대한 교육적 효과를 분석했다. 예비과학교사들은 S-L을 통해 과학사에서 배운 지식을 학생들에게 가르치는 교육봉사를 통해 학교 현장을 이해하고, 수업역량과 교수적 내용 지식을 배울 수 있었다. S-L 수업에 참여한 예비과학교사들은 많은 학습 시간에 대한 부담과 수업 준비의 어려움, 수업에 대한 두려움과 시행착오 등으로 힘든 강좌였지만, S-L에 대한 만족도에서 대부분의 학생들이 매우 만족(4.68) 하였고, 교직에 대한 효능감(4.14)이 높았다.

스퍼터 이온펌프(Sputter Ion Pump)는 주로 화학흡착으로 동작하며 기계적 진동이 없고, 기름 등의 오염 물질을 배출하지 않으며, 수명이 길어 초고청정 진공이 요구되는 표면실험장치, 표면분석계, 입자가속기 등에서 널리 사용 되고 있다. 일정한 지름을 갖는 다수의 원통 양극과 그 양단에 두개의 음극판을 배치시킨 후, 양극과 음극 사이에 수 kV의 전압을 걸고 원통의 축방향으로 자장을 인가하면 페닝 방전이 발생한다. 냉음극에서 방출된 전자는 양극으로 비행하면서 가스를 이온화한다. 이온분자는 가스흡수성 게터재료로 된 음극에 충돌하여 스퍼터링을 일으키며 게터막를 주변에 증착시킨다. 이온 및 중성 가스는 게터 고체막 속에 주입 포획되는 형태로 배기된다. 스퍼터 이온펌프는 $10^{-5}$ Pa 부근에서 최대 배기속도를 가지며, 압력이 낮아질 수록, 특히 $10^{-10}$ Pa영역 이하에서는 그 배기속도가 급격히 저하되며, $10^{-10}$ Pa영역에서는 배기능력을 거의 상실한다. 따라서 스퍼터 이온펌프 단독으로 진공시스템을 배기할 때 도달압력은 $10^{-9}$ Pa 영역에 머무르게 되며, $10^{-10}$ Pa 이하의 극고진공을 얻기 위해서는, $10^{-8}$ Pa 이하의 압력에서 배기 속도가 압력과 무관한 흡착펌프(getter pump)와 이온펌프를 조합하여 사용한다. 본 실험에서는 $600^{\circ}C$ 이상의 온도로 진공로에서 탈개스시킨 진공용기를 배기속도 450, 60, 30, 20, 5, 3 l/s의 6종류의 이온펌프와 배기속도 400 l/s, 100 l/s의 non-evaporable getter (NEG) 펌프를 조합시켜 배기하여 그 배기 특성을 비교하였다. 도달 압력은 이온펌프의 배기속도가 클수록 낮아지는 경향을 보여주었다. 450 l/s 이온펌프와 400 l/s NEG를 조합하여 배기시킬 때 도달 압력은 ~$2{\times}10^{-10}$ Pa을 기록하여 가장 낮았으며, 3 l/s 이온펌프와 400 l/s NEG를 조합하였을 때는 $ 2{\sim}3{\times}10^{-8}$ Pa을 기록하였다. 450 l/s 이온펌프와 400 l/s NEG를 조합한 경우 잔류가스의 대부분이 수소였으나, 3 l/s 이온펌프와 400 l/s NEG의 조합한 경우에는 메탄의 잔류량이 수소 보다 많았다. 이 결과는 메탄을 배기하지 못하는 NEG의 배기 특성을 보완하기 위해서는 일정 배기속도 이상의 이온 펌프가 필요함을 보여준다.

In this paper, we find the Fourier series of X(t, .omega.).mem. $L^{2}$$_{s.a.p.}$ and the Parseval relation of X(t, .omega.).mem. $L^{2}$$_{s.a.p.}$. In section 2, we investigate some basic properties of X(t, .omega.).mem. $L^{2}$$_{s.a.p.}$ In section 3, we show that the mean of X(t, .omega.).mem. $L^{2}$$_{s.a.p.}$ exists and in section 4, after showing the existence of Fourier exponents and Fourier coefficients of X(t, .omega.).mem. $L^{2}$$_{s.a.p.}$. we give the Parseval relation of X(t, .omega.).mem. $L^{2}$$_{s.a.p.}$. For convenience we will denote X(t, .omega.) as X(t) in what follows.hat follows.
