본 논문에서는 벡터 부울함수의 비선형성의 척도인 선형 함수군까지의 거리에 대해 알아본다. 특히 S-Box의 내부 함수로 이용될 수 있는 출력의 균등 분포성을 만족하는 벡터 부울함수의 선형함수군까지의 거리의 하계를 유도한다. 더불어 EDS에서의 S-Box내부함수의 비선형도를 산출하고 보다 비선형도가 높은, 즉 선형 함수군까지으 거리가 더 먼 새로운 S-Box의 존재를 밝힌다.

By using a recursive algorithm, we construct edge-coloured graphs representing products of spheres and consequently we give upper bounds for the regular genus of ${\mathbb{S}}^{m}\;\times\;{\mathbb{S}}^{n}$, for each m, n > 0.

We use an improved Newton-Kantorovich theorem introduced in [2] to analyze interior point methods. Our approach requires less number of steps than before [5] to achieve a certain error tolerance for both Newton's and Modified Newton's methods.

For the purpose of defining the effects of the N-substituted alkyl groups on the anticonvulsant activities of N-Cbz-.alpha.-aminosuccinimides, various (R)- and (S)-N-alkyl substituted N-Cbz-.alpha.-aminosuccinimides (1 and 2) were prepared from the corresponding (R)- and (S)-N-Cbz-aspartic acid by using known reaction and were evaluated the anticonvulsant activies in the MES and PTZ tests, including their neurotoxicities. The most active compound in the MES test was (R)N-Cbz-.alpha.-amino-N-methylsuccinimide (1b) $(ED_{50}=52.5 mg/kg, Pl=3.2)$. And in case of the PTZ test, (R)-N-Cbz-.alpha.-amino-N-ethylsuccinimide (1c) was the most active compound $(ED_{50}/=32.5mg/kg, Pl=3.1)$. The order of anticonvulsant activities of these compounds against the MES test, as judged from the ED_50values for the R series (1), was N-methyl > N-isobutyl > non-substituted > N-ethyl, N-allyl > N-benzyl compound; for the S series (2) N-methyl > N-altyl > non-substituted > N-isobutyl > N-ethyl > N-benzyl compound. The anticonvulsant activities in the PTZ tests of these compounds exhibited somewhat different pattern ; for the R series (1) Nethyl > N-methyl > N-isobutyl> non-substituted > N-allyl > N-benzyl compound in order of decreasing activity; for S series (2) N-ethyl > N-allyl, non-substituted > N-isobutyl > N-methyl > N-benzyl compound in order of decreasing activity.

본 논문에서는 나로호(KSLV-I) 비행상태의 실시간 감시를 목적으로 국내에서는 처음 개발된 우주센터 원격수신자료전시시스템(EDS)의 구축과 운용을 소개한다. EDS는 우주센터 발사통제시스템의 주요 시스템 중 하나이고 그 역할은 위성발사체의 비행에 중대한 영향을 주는 주요정보(QLM)와 궤적정보(TSPI)를 수신하여 실시간으로 처리함으로써 탑재 서브시스템별 전문가들이 위성발사체의 비행 상태를 감시할 수 있도록 지원하는 것이다. EDS는 3회에 걸친 나로호 비행시험에서 그 역할에 따라 매회 8대가 운영되었으며 임무를 성공적으로 수행하였다. 본 시스템을 기반으로 추후 발전된 형태의 한국형발사체(KSLV-II) 비행상태의 실시간 감시시스템의 구축이 가능할 것으로 예상된다.

This paper presents an alternative technique for DOA (direction-of-arrival) estimation. For generating a weight vector orthogonal to the signal subspace, a modified version of MES (minimum eigenvalue searching ) method is introduced. The performance of the proposed technique is compared to that of the conventional ED (eigen decomposition) method in terms of angle resolution for a number of snapshots during agiven observation period as well as various SNR's. In addition, the superiority of the suggested technique is shown, by analyzing the required computational load of the proposed MES and conventional ED method. A novel procedure of simplifying the MES proposed in [1] is presented on that purpose. Another advnatage of the proposed technique is that it is performed independently of the detection of the number of signal components, which makes it possible to estimate the DOA's of clusters consisting of infinite number of inseparable signal components.

The araC prodrugs (1~5) carrying a special acyl group at 5'-Ο-or $N^4$-position were evaluated for in vitro antiviral activity against various human viruses. When tested against HSV-1 and HSV-2 cultured in the verso cells, the prodrugs exhibited slightly higher $ED_{50}$ values compared with one of the parent araC but showed more increased $CC_{50}$ values in all cases. Consequently the overall selectivity indexes of prodrugs were higher than that of arab. The prodrugs, except compound 5, exhibited very potent activity similar to that of araC ($ED_{50}$ about $0.12{\mu}g/mι$) when evaluated against another human DNA virus, cytomegarovirus. However, theses araC prodrugs were completely inactive against RNA viruses i.e. poliovirus and coxackie B3 virus at the concentration of 4250{\mu}g/mι.$

기록이 없는 과거 역사에 대한 연구는 문화재라는 간접적인 자료를 통하여 이루어지고 있다. 지금까지의 문화재 연구는 외형적인 특성을 연구하는 고고학이나 미술사의 분야만으로 국한하였으나 점차 내형적인 특성을 연구하는 과학적인 분석기술도 다양하게 응용되고 있다. 문화재의 특성적 성분을 분석하여 원료, 제작방법, 시대, 그리고 지역으로 그룹화한다면 문화재의 특성과 함께 지역, 시대에 따른 문화적 형태와 수준, 그리고 문화의 유입 경로 등에 대한 자료를 제시할 수 있다. 분 연구에서는 유리나 도자기 유약 등의 문화재를 분석할 경우에 대한 SEM-EDS의 정량분석 조건들을 설정하고 경남 김해 양동리고분에서 출토된 고대 유리구슬에 대하여 직접 적용하여 보았다. 분석 결과, 매장되었던 고대 유리에서는 풍화층이 존재하며 이에 대한 분석조건과 정량분석의 문제점들을 고찰하였다. 이를 기초로 하여 적용한 양동리고분의 유리구슬은 알칼리계 유리로 칼리계 유리는 AD 1C, 소다계 유리는 AD 2C말$\sim$3C초부터 나타난 것으로 추정된다. 그리고 유리의 색상은 전이금속 동(Cu), 철(Fe), 그리고 망간(Mn)의 함유량과 밀접한 관계가 있음을 보인다. 이 분석 결과에 따라 고대 유리구슬의 성분 함유량이 원료, 색상, 유구편년, 그리고 지역에 따라 그룹이 형성될 수 있음을 확인하였다.

Anticancer activity of a fraction of the ethanol extract from the root of Korean angelica (Angelica gigas Nakai) was recognized in human cancer cell lines HeLa $S_3$, K-562, and Hep $G_2$. The extract blocked the phorbol ester-inducing megakaryocytic differentiation of K-562 cells, which indicated the modification of protein kinase C (PKC) activity. In vitro assay showed the activation of PKC by the extract. An effective fraction of the Angelica gigas extract, of which $R_f$ value was 0.64 in a thin layer chromatography, was a different component from those of European angelicas. The $ED_50$ value of the fraction was 8, 9, and $16\;\mu\textrm{m}/ml$ against HeLa $S_3\;Hep\;G_2$, and K-562 cells, respectively, while the fraction showed higher $ED_50$ values against normal cell lines.

Objectives: The purpose of this research is to identify and understand sexuality in 10th grade co-ed students in Seoul, Korea in order to construct practical curriculum for sex education for youth. Method: One-hour class per week was done to the 3 classes among 6 classes for Spring semester in 1999: small group discussion(for 3 classes) & questionnaires(6 classes) were taken. Results: Despite the increased number of sex education programs, peers apparently remain the major source of information and the counselor of their sexual problems. The rate of correct answer of the sex knowledge is still low, especially on biological aspects of opposite sex. Western culture and women's movements have changed our society. In turn, sexual sterotypes and roles have been changing. Small group discussions were taken after the classes of pregnancy, abortion and unmarried parents. Their opinions on maintaining virginity were collected. The condition of choosing spouse and boy/girl friend is quite different in many aspects.
