자료의 보존에 있어서 종이의 열화로 인해 자료의 분석, 열화메커니즘의 해석, 종이의 보존이란 측면 하에서의 관심이 서서히 집중되고 있는 실정이며, 그 중요성도 크게 대두되고 있는 실정이다. 산성지를 중성화하는 화학적시스템, 즉, 탈산성화처리는 알카리계금속(Ca, Mg, Zn, Na)과 유기용매, 수용성용매를 이용하여 이들 약품을 종이내에 침투시켜 중성화(pH 6-8) 함으로써 종이의 주성분인 cellulose를 보다 안정화시키는 방법으로 산을 중화하여 보존성을 향상시킬 수 있는 것이다. 즉, 탈산처리란 화학적으로 종이속에 생기는 산 또는 산을 발생하는 물질을 알칼리물질로 중화하는 것이다. 또한 중화후 알칼리 물질이 종이에 잔류하면 장래에 내부적으로 발생하는 산이나 외부(대기중의 오염물질 등) 로부터 침입하는 산도 중화하여 보존성을 향상시킬 수가 있다. 따라서, 본 연구는 산성초지법에 의해 제조된 용지들의 열화특성과 알카리 토금속을 처리한 후에 알카리도를 상승시킨 용지의 열화특성을 물리·화학적 변화를 통하여 종이의 보존성을 비교 검토·규명함으로써 문(도)서의 보존체계를 마련하고자 하며, 보존과 관련된 기초자료를 얻고자 실시하였다.

본 연구는 전기화학적으로 제조된 초환원수 수용액을 탈묵에 적용하기 위한 연구로서 수용액의 알카리도가 고지의 젖음성에 미치는 영향과 그에 따른 탈묵성에 미치는 영향을 고찰한 것이다. 초 환원수는 고전압 하에서 순수 물을 전기적으로 분해한 것으로서 양극에서 pH가 약 11이상의 것을 얻어 사용하였다. 물의 알칼리도에 따라서 탈묵제가 펄플에 젖음성의 영향을 살펴보았으며, 특히 펄프 입자의 표면 전하에 큰 영향을 미쳤다. 이에 따라서 잉크 입자의 탈착이 효과적으로 진행됨이 관찰되었으며, 탈착된 잉크 입자의 크기도 탈묵에 적절함으로서 탈묵 효과가 향상되었다. 이러한 현상을 사용된 계면활성제, 물의 알카리도, 펄프 및 잉크의 표면 전화, 친수/소수화도 등과 비교 검토하였다.

PDF(Portable Document Format) is a file format that Adobe advances postscritp technique and use in managing document information or electric publishing(internet, CD-ROM, DVD). PDF is a devised document type for being able to read and print anywhere, independent of OS, printer type, resolution, and the kind of computer etc. Because this includes a compressing function, it transfers document through a small size of file in internet or intranet. In addition, that is a file format has various advantages-sharing of information and transfering documents in on line or off line environment. In this paper, we developed electronic document system using PDF format. Electronic document system consists of filter, automatic indexing, special searching system and web server. The information used in this paper is database made using Zwon\`s DocuCom. The filter recognizes various kinds of document structure. And according to property of document, it produces ASCII output. In addition to processing various formats of document, the filter can extract keywords in documents of MS WORD, Excel, Powerpoint, PDF, CAD etc. This filter uses the structure of window printer drive and can extract the information for text, page, font type and size from relevant document. The automatic indexing recognizes the formatted tag of document form ASCII text produced by filter and extracts adequate keyword to structure and property of document. PDF electronic document systems proposed in this paper can be used in Internet, PC communication. Users can choose and read electronic documents by two ways. First, users can choose and read relevant books using PDF electronic document homepage. Second, users can use PDF integrated-search system. User can search after inputing keyword and choose reference field and type of data. But, now, PDF products of Adobe can\`t support the Korean character. If this problem is resolved, we thick that PDF applications system looks active. Although there is limited function in case of using Zwon DocuCom used in this study, we think that there isn\`t a great deal of difficulty in electronic document and building digital database.

환경문제에 대해 오래 전부터 관심을 가져온 선진국은 잉크의 수성화에 주력하여 왔으며, 그 결과 이미 수용성 소재의 양산체재에 들어가 수성 원료 사업을 대형화하는 추세에 있다. 이에 한화석유화학 중앙연구소에선 스티렌/아크릴계 수용성 High Solid 수지를 개발하여, 수성 잉크용 분산제, Resin Fortified Emulsion (RFE), UV Resist 잉크, 수성코팅제, 바닥광택제 등에 적요하기 위한 응용기술을 개발하였다. 본 연구는 수성 잉크의 주요 구성 성분인 grinding vehicle. let-down vehicle로 사용되는 수용성 High Solid 수지 (SAA 수지) 및 이를 이용한 에멀젼 수지의 합성과 수성 잉크로의 응용에 대한 것이다. SAA(HCC Soluryl Resin) 수지는 구조적으로 Styrene, Alpha-methyl Styrene, crylic Acid의 삼원공중합체이며 약 70%의 소수성 물질과 30%의 친수성 물질이 Random 하게 중합되어 있으며 약 5000∼15000정도의 낮은 분자량을 가진 물질로, 고고형분에서도 낮은 점도를 유지하기 위하여 분자량과 좁은 분자량과 좁은 분자량을 가지는 수지를 연속벌크중합방법으로 합성하였다. 또한 이를 고분자 유화제로서 사용하여 수지보강 에멀젼수지 (RFE 수지, HCC Soluryl Emulsion) 를 제조하는데 사용하였으며, SAA수지 및 RFE수지를 수성잉크용 분산제, 잉크 바인더용으로 적용하였다.

Laboratory test method which determines the emulsification rate of dampening solution and ink has been described In lithography using the mutual repellence of oil and water, the emulsification is produced by dispersion of dampening water and ink because of the printing pressure on a practical press. Rheological properties of Ink-Water balance are the important factors in lithographic printing. The emulsification theory and laboratory test method deduced from Surland and Kim. It is shown that the emulfisication curves relate to the rates of change in the emulsifide ink\`s flow properties, to the shear stability of the emulsion formed To study on the factors determining the emulsion velocity, we have measured water pickup and calculated emulsification velocity constant \`k\` and activation energy.
