This study was designed to contribute for improvements of middle school students' quality of life and to Present materials necessary for applying leisure activity Programs for them through an analysis of the patterns of the leisure activities and life satisfaction .For the statistical analysis. Cronbach α. t-test. ANOVA. Duncan's multiple range test were calculated. The Participants were 515 second glade students of middle school in Kangwon Province . The findings can be summarized as follows. 1) The average point of patterns of the subjects participating in leisure activities was 2.38. and activities. which are associated with computers. accounted for 3.35. the highest mark among the various patterns. 2) The patterns of the subjects' leisure activities varies significantly with sociodemographical variables such as sex. location. level of living. pocket money. and leisure expenditure Such factors as leisure time in weekends and the degree of interest in leisure made a significant difference in the patterns of leisure activities .3) The average Point of subjects life satisfaction was 3.49. and their family life satisfaction reached to 3.81 the highest mark. And the Patterns of leasure activity had a Positive relationship with the subjects' life satisfaction. consisting relatively low correlation. However, the more the subjects take Part in leasure. the more they were satisfied with life.

This study examined teacher perception of the instructional method. activities and material in terms of class quality enhancement. Also this study established instructional method. activities and material application Per 7th Practical Arts Education Course guidance domain. and type identification of the instructional method and activities unique to the Practical arts curriculum. Conclusions : 1. Teachers consider the instructional method and material beneficial. However in the item relevant to application of diverse instructional methods Per specific teaching objective and educational content in the actual classroom. the highest percentage responding. ‘relatively yes’ (39.7%) . balanced out with those answering. ‘no’(37.7%) 2. In linking the instructional method and material to secondary school home economics education, teachers experienced difficulty in teaching only the clothing education domain . 3. Notably, home project learning was identified as a significant instructional method. This result begs in-dept analysis as home project learning may be utilized as a tool to compensate for the absence of practical educational objective condition fulfillment and to substitute for teachers unable to Provide such functional guidance in class. 4. A purpose of this study is to develop multimedia materials of “Technology and Home Economics” subject matter in a national level. Researchers. writers. examiners. deliverers and developers in order to develop multimedia materials were organized of us with 40 People. First. we analyzed the textbooks of "Technology $.$ Home Economics" subject matter and made the idea design Second we got storyboards based on the idea design. Finally. we developed the 1021 multimedia materials based with storyboards. The developed materials were uploaded to the Edunet website. If the materials developed in this study are utilized. students of middle school will be get easily educational motive. and teachers are able to use the multimedia materials to the Technology $.$ Home Economics 1" subject instruction.

The purpose of this study was to research high school students’ practical awareness about the contents(classify them into four units. choice and dressing of clothes. textile and management of clothes. design and sewing of clothes. knitting and embroidery) clothing and textiles education in their real life. This is the investigation of which 576 high school students located in Choongchungnam$.$bukdo. Junrabukdo, Daeseon. In this statistical analysis. SPSS 10.0 for Windows Program was utilized to calculate percentage. mean and standard deviation. Also. these materials were verified by t-test. One-way Anova . Pearson’s correlation coefficient. The main results of obtained this study are as follows High school students’ practical awareness about the contents of clothing and textiles education in their real life appears to be low(only 9 items were over median point of 3.0). There was a significant difference in Practical awareness of contents of clothing and textiles education according to demographic variables. and correlation of variables differed significantly. These results should be provide fundamental information for improving students’ practical practice in their real life Since this study has touched only limited research on the topic of clothing and textiles education. it is essential that further research covering a wider array of themes be done in the future.

The Purpose of this study is to investigate the cognition and experience of sexual violence and to Present the influential factors of the cognition of sexual violence. The subjects were 835 high school students living in Kwangiu and Chonnam. The data analysis used Mean. Standard Deviation, T-test. F-test. and Multiple Regression Analysis The major findings is as follows : 1 There are meaningful differences in the experience of sexual violence between male and female adolescents. 2. There are meaningful differences in the cognition of sexual violence in sex. sex-role attitude. experience of obscene materials and sex education. 3. The variables which affect cognition of sexual violence is sex-role attitude, sex and experience of obscene materials that were explained about 10%.

This study tested students’ ICT application capability and Problems solving ability by ICT instructional environment when ICT teaching method is applied to $\boxDr$Understanding of Myself and Family$\boxUl$ unit of home economics. Following research Problems were formulated for this study : 1. Are there any differences of the effects on improvements of students’ ICT application capability by ICT instructional environment\ulcorner 2. Are there any differences of effects on improvements of students’ problems solving ability by ICT instructional environment\ulcorner 3. Are there any differences of effects on improvements of students’ Performance assessment results by ICT instructional environment\ulcorner The researcher developed a homepage for the ICT teaching-learning. and prepared Problems-based teaching-learning lesson plan. The students were divided into two groups (experimental group 1 and experimental group 2) by ICT instructional environment. The Pre-test and post-test were conducted before and after the experimental class. The ICT class experimental period was for 16 weeks. from March 10. 2002 to July 10. 2002. The experimental group 1 was given 16-weeks classwork under the classroom environment of 1 PC for each classroom(The classroom with advanced educational equipments) . while the experimental group 2 was given 16-weeks classwork under the classroom environment of 1 PC for each student(multimedia classroom) . The results of the study are as follows: 1 All of the ICT teaching methods under both instructional environments were found to be effective on the improvements of the ICT application capability. 2. There were statistically significant differences of problems solving ability between two groups in application and the measure of validation. 3. The experimental group 1(1 PC for each classroom) did not show any improvements of Performance assessment results. while the experimental group 2(1 PC for each student) showed some improvements.
