This paper represents the design of 3D endoscopic video system in order to improve visualization and enhance the ability of the surgeon to perform delicate endoscopic surgery. In comparison of the polarized and electric shutter-type stereo imaging system, The former is superior in terms of accuracy and performance speed for knot-tying and loop pass test. The result of experiments show that the proposed 3D endoscopy system has a wide viewing angle and zone which is necessary for multi-view and it has better image quality and stability of the optical performances than the electric shutter-type does.

Source separation is a statistical method, the goal of which is to separate the linear instantaneous mixtures of statistically independent sources without resorting to any prior knowledge. This paper addresses a source separation algorithm which is able to separate the mixtures of sub- and super-Gaussian sources. The nonlinear function in the proposed algorithm is derived from the generalized Gaussian distribution that is a set of distributions parameterized by a real positive number (Gaussian exponent). Based on the relationship between the kurtosis and the Gaussian exponent, we present a simple and efficient way of selecting proper nonlinear functions for source separation. Useful behavior of the proposed method is demonstrated by computer simulations.

The Main role of the gas turbine lies in the utilization of waste heat which may be found in exhaust gases from the gas turbine or at some other points of the process to produce additional electricity. Up to date, the PID controller has been used to operate under such difficult conditions, but since the gain of PID controller manually experience. In this paper parameter separation type 2-DOF PID controllers are proposed based on the gas turbine control system. Gas turbine transfer function is achieved from operation data of Gun-san gas turbine and Tuning algorithms of parameter separation type 2-DOF PID controller is ANFIS. Results represents satisfactory response.

The relative degree one and weakly minimum-phase conditions have been major obstacles for passification of the given system. In this paper, a dynamic output feedback passifier which can remove the obstacles is presented. The proposed method does not require any modification of the given output except just adding a new term. Therefore, the scheme is more suitable for output feedback passification.

In this paper, a design method of a controller is presented for a class of nonlinear systems which have time-varying parametric uncertainly. Some features of this controller are that it can tackle 1) nonlinear parametrization(i.e. uncertain parameters enter the system in the nonlinear form) and 2) nonvanishing peturbation (i.e. uncertainty need not vanish at the origin). The class of systems considered in this paper has the triangular structure for which the well-known backstepping design can be applied. The uncertain parameter is assumed to be contained in the bounded set whose size can be arbitrarily large. Also, the uncertain system are globally uniformly bounded and converge to a compact set whose size is designable. In particular, the first state of the system can be made arbitrarily small, which can be seen by the presented simulation result.

An equivalent load sharing control based on the frequency and voltage droop concept for parallel operation of two three-phase Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems with no control interconnection lines is presented in this paper. First of all, due to the use of active power and reactive power as control variables, the characteristics of output powers according to amplitude and phase differences between output voltages of two UPS systems are analyzed. Secondly, simulation results under different line impedance demonstrate the feasibility of the wireless parallel operation control. Finally, experiments are presented to verify the theoretical discussion with two three-phase 20kVA UPS systems employed TMS320C32, a kind of real time digital signal processor (DSP).
