This study was based on the analysis of changes in curriculum of elementary mathematics curriculum, and changes in curriculum of middle school and high school mathematics curriculum. The purpose of this study is to analyze the movement of learning contents among the school levels based on the middle school mathematics curriculum and to summarize the influence on the curriculum of middle school mathematics according to the movement of learning contents. The research conducted according to the purpose of this study is as follows. First, we analyzed the trends of mathematical contents between elementary and middle schools after the movement of ten mathematics curriculums. Second, we analyzed trends of learning factors after mobility and mobility between middle school and high school. Third, the characteristics of 'the contents of mutual movement based on middle school' and 'the contents deleted from middle school' were analyzed. The results of this study are expected to reflect on current and past curriculum and to give meaningful implications to the composition of new curriculum.

The Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity(KOFAC) developed AlgeoMath, a dynamic geometry software, with support from the Ministry of Education and 17 municipal and provincial education offices. Starting Nov. 7, 2018, AlgeoMath can be used for free by anyone. This study summarizes various discussions on the future direction of math education. The four aspects of the curriculum, textbook, teaching and learning, and assessment were explored on how AlgeoMath could contribute in realizing the future direction of math education. We confirmed that AlgeoMath can faithfully fulfill its role as a tool for changing math education, and we looked at what should be emphasized more and what should be complemented.

The six core competencies included in the mathematics curriculum revised in 2015 are problem solving, reasoning, communication, attitude and practice, creativity and convergence, information processing. In particular, the problem solving is very important for students' enhancing much higher mathematical thinking. Based on this competency, this study selected the four elements of the problem solving such as problem solving process, cooperative problem solving, mathematical modeling, problem posing. And also this study selected the domain of function which is comprised of the content of the coordinate plane, the graph, proportionality in the seventh grade mathematics textbook. By the subject of the ten kinds of textbook, this study examined how the four elements of the problem solving competency were shown in each textbook.

This study aims to investigate the statistical literacy of pre-service mathematics teachers and to discuss the impact of statistical literacy in lesson plan. For the purpose of this study, we analyzed 13 pre-service mathematics teachers' statistical literacy tests and lesson plans. The results of this analysis are as follows: First, pre-service mathematics teachers did not have a high level of statistical literacy, and it was also observed that there was a big level difference between them. Second, pre-service mathematics teachers' lesson plans showed significant difference in the level of the target grade, the characteristics of the target student, and the contents. Based on this study, we seek to find implications for how it is appropriate to educate teachers in charge of statistical education.

Textbooks are official materials so that these are the most frequently used teaching materials in school. The teacher constructs the lesson based on the contents of the textbook to achieve the learning goal. Thus, textbooks play an important role because the quality of the contents in textbooks affects the cognitive level of students. This study investigates the cognitive domain based on Bloom's Taxonomy of Educational Objectives(knowledge, understanding, application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation) of 'Values and Expression' in the mathematics textbook of the first grade of middle school reflecting the 2015 revised mathematics curriculum. We also looked at cognitive levels based on Bloom's Taxonomy of Educational Objectives. As a result, it was found that understanding was dominant in 'Values and Expression'. Also, although the problem of requiring a higher level of cognition is increasing as the unit finishes, there are still a high percentage of low level of problems.

The purpose of this study is to analyze multiplication facts(1st and 0th multiplication) in elementary mathematics. In the 2015 revised curriculum, students learn multiplication and multiplication facts in the 2nd grade. Many teachers experience difficulties in organizing the multiplication problem situation in multiplication facts(1st and 0th multiplication). This study aims to consider the causes of these difficulties and devise teaching methods. The method of this study is a comparative and analytic method. In order to compare textbooks, we select the Korean elementary mathematics textbooks(1st curriculum~2015 revised curriculum) and the six foreign elementary mathematics textbooks(Taiwan, Japan, Finland, Unites States, Hongkong, Singapore). As a result, the multiplication problem situation and the multiplication model assume the same bundle and bundle model. Also, we must consider the teaching timing of multiplication facts(1st and 0th multiplication) and the use of commutative law. In this study, we proposed a multiplication teaching scheme in consideration of the multiplication problem situation and teaching model, teaching period and commutative law etc.. to teach multiplication facts(1st and 0th multiplication) in elementary mathematics.

In this paper we used text mining method to analyze journals of mathematics education posterior to the year of 2016. To figure out trends of mathematics education research. we analyzed the key words largely mentioned in the recent mathematics education journals by Term Frequency and Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency method. We also looked at how these keywords match up with the key words that appear of education to prepare for future society. This result can infer the characteristics of mathematics education research in the aspect upcoming research topics.

As various changes in education in general and learning environment in particular have promoted different needs and expectations for learning at both personal and social levels, the roles that schools and school teachers typically have with respect to their students are being challenged. Especially with the recent, rapid progress of the artificial intelligence(AI) field, AI could serve beyond the way in which it has been used. Based on a review of some of the related literature and the current development of AI, a view on utilizing AI to be a collaborative, complementary partner with an human mathematics teacher in the classroom in order to support both students and teachers will be discussed.
