수학적 의사소통으로서의 쓰기활동이 고등학교 학생들의 수학 학습에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Writing Activity as Mathematical Communication on the High School Students' Mathematics Learning)

  • In this paper, we study the effect of writing activity as mathematical communication on the students's mathematics achievement, learning attitude, and mathematical tendency. For this purpose, we construct a experimental class and then analyze the students' change in those aspects after applying three-divided-note writing activity and colleague feedback on their works those students are in the experimental class. As a result of the experiment, we find that three-divided-note writing activity and colleague feedback made some significant changes on the students achievement in mathematics, learning attitude, but does not affect on mathematical tendency. We also offer some suggestions for further research. Firstly, the mathematical communication ability must be stressed in mathematics education. For this purpose, we need to develop the teaching and the evaluation method to use not only writing but also reading, speaking, and listening skills so that many teachers can apply this method easily to their classes. Second, we need to fix some realistic problems such as fair evaluation , the numbers of students per class, the numbers of lesson, and too much extra-work, and so on. Thirdly, we suggest to explore some methods for extending three- divided-note writing activity to evaluate mathematical essay and to study educational effects of colleague feedback on mathematics performance assessment.

초등과학영재의 과학 노트를 활용한 정리활동 특성분석 (The Characteristics of Summarized Activities using Science Notebook for Elementary School Science Gifted)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the writing styles and features of science writing by using science notebook for elementary school science gifted. The subject of this study was 37 sixth grade elementary school science gifted in P city. The preliminary 1 hour instruction was conducted to explain the usage of science notebook. The summarized activity using science notebook was conducted for 20 minutes following 4 hour lesson. These activities were performed for 8 times. As the result of this study, in The content which is learned today (main learning content)' which is one of components of science note, the writing appears the most frequently in external expression types and features of scientific writing, followed by writing+drawing, drawing, cartoon, writing+cartoon, mind map, table. Science writing which uses inductive thinking appears the most frequently in internal expression types and features of scientific writing, followed by deductive thinking, creative thinking. Among the components of science note, 'thinking and feeling', 'question,' 'one's own thinking of question' which are the components of science note promote the reflective thinking of elementary school student gifted for science.

  • Documentation of patient care has much emphasis during the past few years. As reviewing the orthopedic, neurosurgery, rehabilitation medicine of progress note, SOAP note, modified SOAP note and have been integrated a model of Korean clinical progress note of physical therapy. Academically, educationally and clinically development of physical therapy depend upon writing clinical progress note. Based on the research results, the following considerations and guideline are presented. 1. Include writing a clinical progress note of physical therapy in the school curriculums. 2. Physical therapist write the clinical progress note their procedure to the patients. 3. Korean Physical Therapy Association can provide a model of clinical progress note of physical therapy.

3차원 방식의 수기 모사 연구 (Study of 3D Simulator for Human Hand Writing)

  • A light-weight enough to be portable yet functionally complete hand-writing machine was designed with hardware assembled and software implemented. The machine simulating human hand-writing not only allows identical massive scriptings on papers in human's proxy, but also offers emotional appearance as if the script was directly hand-written in ink. The features of human writing were independently put together to complete the action of scripting. The writing style could be altered in order to mimic a person's own specific writing style. The present work demonstrates that the assembled hand-writing machine was able to duplicate writing of scripts in almost parallel lines in consistent manner. The machine can be used in the emotional marketing area where seasonal greetings or thank-you cards are to be sent in massive manner. The pen-holding machine can also find an emotional application such as writing a short greeting note on a plastic lid on a disposable coffee cup in coffee-selling stores.

수학 학습부진아 지도를 위한 노트쓰기활동에 관한 연구 (The study of the activity with writing of note for learning of underachievers on mathematics class)

  • 본 연구는 수학학습부진아의 노트쓰기 활동에 관한 사례연구로서 개별적인 노트쓰기 지도의 효과가 수학 학습부진아의 학습태도에 미치는 영향에 대한 사례를 탐구해 보는 것이다. 충남에 소재한 고등학교의 3학년 학생을 대상 중 학습부진아를 선택하여 연구하였고, 특별한 학생에게 맞춤으로 새롭게 구성한 수학노트를 활용하여 수업을 진행하였다. 매 수업시간이나 그 이후의 시간을 이용하여 스스로 노트를 정리하게 하였고, 일정기간마다 노트를 제출하여 교사의 피드백을 받을 수 있게 하였다. 본 연구의 결론으로서 학생의 개별화 지도를 위하여 개인적으로 수학노트 쓰기를 활용한 수업은 수학학습부진아들의 학습 태도와 흥미 변화에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 실제 수학 수업에서 학생들이 사용하는 노트를 살펴보았더니 문제풀이에 초점을 두어서인지 노트를 정리하는 방법을 몰라서인지 '연습장'에 가까웠다. 이에 체계적인 학습 노트를 활용한 쓰기 활동이 학생들의 수학과 학업 성취도에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 알아보기 위하여 학생들이 쓰기를 할 수 있는 학습 노트를 구안하고, 학습 노트를 활용한 쓰기 활동이 수학과 학업 성취도에 미치는 효과를 분석하며, 이 활동이 학생의 수학적 태도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 결과물을 통해서 분석하였다. 연구 결과 학습 노트를 활용한 쓰기 활동은 학생들의 수학과 학업 성취도의 향상과 수학에 대한 태도에 긍정적인 변화를 준다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

SOAP 기록 모델 개발 (Development of SOAP Note Model)

  • This study was to provide model of SOAP Note, as a English and a Korean. English model was written with abbreviation. Abbreviations are und as a time and space saver while writing a notes. Acceptable abbreviations varies from one facility to the next, particularly terminology specific to allied health field such as physical therapy and occupational therapy. Based on the research results, the following consideration and guideline are presented. 1. Include the SOAP Note in curriculums of physical therapy. 2. The list of abbreviation have to approved between the Korea Hospital Association and the Korea Physical Therapy Association.

대학생의 감사노트 작성이 감사성향과 행복감에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Grateful Note-taking in University Students upon Grateful Disposition and Happiness)

  • 이 연구는 감사노트 작성이 대학생의 감사성향과 행복감에 긍정적인 효과가 있는지를 규명하고 감사노트 작성 경험에 대한 의미를 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 연구를 위해 G시에 소재한 K대학교 재학생 131명(감사노트를 작성한 실험집단 68명, 감사노트를 작성하지 않은 비교집단 63명)을 대상으로 감사성향 및 행복감에 대한 사전·사후검사를 실시하였다. 또한 질적 연구를 위해 마음수업 수강자의 감사노트, 감사노트 소감문, 심층설문, 연구자의 관찰일지 등을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 연구결과 감사성향 및 행복감은 감사노트 작성 여부에 따라 집단간에 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 즉 감사노트 작성을 경험한 실험집단이 비교집단보다 감사성향 및 행복감이 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 감사노트 작성의 경험의 의미로는 긍정적인 생각, 감사하는 습관, 성찰의 시간, 행복발견 등으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 대학생의 감사성향 및 행복감에 영향을 미치는 제 변인에 대한 시사점을 제공하며 대학생의 감사노트 작성 프로그램 확대 필요성을 보여주는 것이라 하겠다.
